I can’t believe that nobody uploaded about them yet. They’re literally part of the original team, have a deep trust and understanding with each other. To the point where it’s Warren that reaches out to Scott regarding x-factor after the original team decided to all disband.(leading to less than ideal consequences but still). I love the amount of times Warren carries Scott especially in the bridal carry it’s so cute !!

Let’s not also forget about the fact that if either of them is brainwashed or mind controlled, the other will always attempt to bring the other back by listing their best qualities and how much they don’t want to hurt each other. There’s also the moment that Scott nearly gives up on Jean if she really chooses Warren showing that he clearly respects Jean’s decisions and views Warren as someone who was worthy of her affections. Warren literally calls him “Scotty”!! And Scott is a huge worrywart when he gets injured (see the time when Thor returned Angel back to the team)

Also !! It’s seen that Angel’s death usually causes Scott to spiral into a mental breakdown.

Warren canonically likes seeing scott smile- noting that he should smile more often ! The also banters and flirts a lot with each other- Warren’s even bought a new car for Scott while Scott always calls Warren as “Pretty”. He literally says “I want the world to love us) (referring to mutants however focused on a picture of Warren surrounded by humans in the sunlight). Their younger versions (all new xmen) even went on a noodle date !!

It doesn’t help that Warren is also physically affection- often opting for tackle hugs especially in the early years. Scott even referred to Warren as “Sunshine”. Scott literally has a maneuver 6 where it involves Warren holding Scott in an embrace !! Not to mention , during the mission for krakoa where they all died, Scott made sure to close Warren’s eyes and held him close before even leaving for the mission. People also refer to angel as “His angel”!!

btw the movies lied about scott and logan having homoerotic subtext poorly disguised by a love triangle that was supposedly centered on jean. that was always scott and warren.

once scott is in bed it’s Time For Sleep but warren tends to have a hard time shutting his brain off and he’s totally That Guy who shitposts out loud at night

...which is actually kind of nice when scott has insomnia bc it gives him something to focus on other than trying to force himself to fall asleep

im absolutely certain ive talked about this before but i can’t say it enough: scott wearing warren’s sweaters that are big enough for him to snuggle up inside of

im talking a lot about sleeping BUT scott staying up a little bit longer to read and warren resting his head in his lap...

warren doesn’t really like getting his wings wet but it’s not the biggest deal in the world, and since scott has sensory issues wrt the sensation of rain on his skin warren will shield him with his wings if they get caught outside in the rain without an umbrella

Pretty sure Warren didn't have a date and just asked Scott out on an actual date under the guise of a "Double Date". If Scott would have accepted, they both would be dining alone, together.

In a different scenario:

Scott: sure, why not.

*At the restaurant*

Warren: *Looks nervously* umm, so our dates didn't show up (he didn't invite them). Looks like it's just you and me.

Scott: okay. Let's eat.

Warren: *sweats* sure.
