Bowmore Arc-52 The Mokume Edition  

A unique decanter specially designed by Aston Martin featuring a one of one 52 year old vintage whisky, never to be repeated.

The unique whisky is made up from two casks types; European oak sherry seasoned + American oak Hogsheads and is a marriage of 1962 and 1968 vintages, bottled at 43.5% abv.

No sighting of Perseids so far - been checking since this tequila sunset. It’s nearly 11:00 now. Earlier I spotted Stephen Curry raining down 3’s on the French and that was a sweet finish. Speaking of sweet finishes, while I like rum, Agricole to Zacapa, usually a rum cask finish whisky is too sweet for me.

This one is nicely balanced by the peaty malt.
