I kinda think Shannan, Larcei and Scáthach should have gotten a triangle attack together in gen 2 of Genealogy.

Usually when Fire Emblem games have a triangle attack, it’s between three units who all share either a class or a weapon, and are usually related. Be it the Pegasus Knight sisters, the three bow-wielding brothers in Path of Radiance. Since gen 2 gives you three Myrmidon/Swordmasters early on and all of them are related, I think it would have been neat to give them the series’ recurring team attack.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? I got the game for my birthday along with a gameboy way back when I was about 7-8 years old. That game was Binding Blade and I've been riding that wave ever since.

How did you find TOA? Well it was first mentioned to me by N a year or so before I actually joined! I was really wanting to get back into the FE scene and so I thought this might be a good start.

Current TOA muses: Scáthach, Ephraim, Eliwood

Who was your first TOA muse? If you don’t have them anymore, could you see yourself picking them up again? Male Robin! It's probably unlikely... I love him to death but he's easily my oldest fire emblem muse and he is VERY tired.

Have you had any other TOA muses? Quanathan my beloved

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? I KNOW I HAVE A TYPE I GRAVITATE TO! I never really knew this about myself until TOA, but I seem to gravitate towards knights the most. There is just something about the kind of devotion a knight feels, and how that alters their entire existence.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I typically really enjoy getting into the gritty of things while I'm writing. Explaining emotion and action, why a character is the way they are. I find this most fun with another muse who has close connections to mine.

Favorite TOA-related memory: I think my favorite moment might be when Soji and I reconnected after 10 minutes of me being in this server. We had interacted one time in indie but she had always been on my mind because of how exceptional her writing is. Turns out she remembered me too, and now we're besties and going to cons together!

How do you pronounce TOA?: I usually just say the letters themselves because I'm extra like that.

this is one million years late but thank you for the song recs from like over a month ago! they were spot on and i am definitely going to check out the full album the two corb lund songs are from. ougghh but first my heart is breaking for sigurd and the gen 1 crew all over again 🤡

i just finished fe5 last week and i have been Processing... it's taken me something like two years to complete (lunatic who doesn't use save states and resets the chapter if anyone dies), four total for the two games, and i am just,, Overwhelmed!!! but really my first impression is that fe5 is so special, it was really like a great big appendix to 4, and together they form such an enchanting myth of a story..

AHHHHH OF COURSE!!! i'm so happy you listened to the recs and enjoyed them! corb lund quickly became a favorite of mine, a few other songs i like of his include when the game gets hot, apocalyptic modified blues, the cardplayers, and devil's best dress (i don't associate them with anything, i just like them<3)

i'm actually still in the process of playing thracia (busy w uni) but i completely agree, the jugdral lore is on a whole other level. i especially love thracia atm for how each chapter feels realistic given leif's situation

and i agree wholeheartedly, no one's dying on my watch ‼️ every unit that i lose is a wife that dies we're all getting through this together

and I'D LOVE TO!!! i don't actually have any jugdral units that i actively dislike story-wise, some were disappointing gameplay-wise (diarmuid i'm looking at you gayboy) and even though i haven't played fe4 in a minute i remember scáthach and febail carried my ass sooo shoutout to them

I was talking to someone about Scárthur and this is basically how I view them (I wanted to share) cause why not

My reason for shipping them was primarily because of their fathers, but I later thought about shipping them. I like to think that someone like Arthur, whose mind is constantly filled with revenge, would let loose around someone as calm as Scáthach. Also, they would help each other in battle, with one of them being a sword fighter and the other being a mage, they would cover each others weaknesses. Scáthach would always remind Arthur to take care of himself, and Scáthach can even break from the facade of being mature to being silly with Arthur. They would balance each other out
