If it’s so easy for us to believe in the “universe” why is it so hard to believe in God? If we can easily personify the universe by believing that it speaks to us, guides us, and determines our fate, why do we have such a hard time believing that there is an intimate God who created all things, a God who speaks to us, a God who desires to know us, a God who loves us, and a God who holds our very lives in the palm of His hand? How is it that we can be so quick to give glory to the creation and not to the Creator Himself? Why is it so hard for us to simply believe?

I was saved originally in 2003, but didn’t ‘stay the path’ at that time. In July of 2022 i recommitted my life to Jesus and since then I’ve let go of so much… mental blocks, identities, physical items, worries and expectations. I now feel such peace and can relax, knowing I don’t have to do ALL THE THINGS anymore. I’m learning to listen and discern. I realize it’s not about me, but about Him, and that is so comforting and so liberating!!! Dear God

I know you’re around me

For decades I walked on this Earth

I’m thankful and grateful but that’s only the half

Mercy follows me, you show me grace for no reason

You bore my sins and died so I may be healed

You literally became my strength, salvation and shield

I was given a new birth on this old earth

Now I see more clearly

Daily I wallowed in sin not knowing you were near me

What you did for me I can never be timid

I live life abundantly and with joy.. there’s no limit

I will be bold for you oh what a blessing

If we deny you on Earth

You will deny us in Heaven

You answer when I call

You give me relief from sorrow

One day at a time

Why worry about tomorrow

I am justified by faith

For that I must praise you

Hear me ….

Blessed be the Lord God who saves you !!

I used to question daily like Nicodemus

He sacrificed Himself just to redeem us

Now I know I have peace with God through Jesus

He took my heart of stone He’s molding it daily

He’s my God I’m so thankful he saved me
