Sindhuli
Located in the Janakpur zone, Sindhuli district covers a section of 2,491sq km with Sindhulimadhi as its district headquarters is bordered by Udayapur and Siraha in east, Rautahat, and Kavreplanchok within the west, Ramechap, and Okhaldhunga in north and Sarlahi, Mohattari and Dhanusa district within the south. In 2011 it had a population of 296,192.

Places To Visit in Sindhuli : Sindhuli Gadhi: This is an area of historical significance situated at a distance of around twenty kilometers from the headquarter Sindhuli Maadi. The place is situated at the top of a hill. we are able to view the wall of an ancient palace that once used to be a district administrator. The cold and chilling weather and also the stunning landscape view from this place attract everybody here.

Siddha Baba Temple: This temple is located at the top of a hill close to the headquarter of Sindhuli. we are able to reach this place by a walk of around 2 hours from Sindhulimadi. This place is believed to be holy and if an individual prays for something by pure heart than his desired get fulfilled. we are able to view the attractive Sindhulimadi valley from this place.

Kaalimaai Temple: Kalimaai Temple is located in Kamalamai municipality 4. This temple is located on the bank of river Gwanga Khola and is within the middle of a dense forest. we are able to view the attractive Madhutaar Village throughout the visit of this temple. This is often one in all the renowned temples of lord Kali and there’s a good fair throughout the first day of Nepali month Magh.

Madru Ganga Babadham Cave: A really stunning cave that contains images of the many Hindu gods. according to local legend, it’s believed that the sculpture of the goddess within was not built by anyone. it’s situated east of Sindhulimhadi and to induce there you travel through Jarayo market towards Tilgenge.

Sarbesiddreswor Mahadev Cave: This Cave is nice to visit anytime except Monsoon. Go East from Sindhulimadhi through Gadaula from there you walk around 9km towards Analekhel Dovan and from there walk uphill wherever you’ll reach pipal Bhanjyang school. From there walk once more 7 km towards easy where you’ll reach the cave. The cave has spiritual significance.

Lendreng Chulithum: This temple sits on high of a hill 18 km to the east of Sindhulimadhi. It sits virtually 1900 meters higher than sea level and therefore the cool temperatures increase the atmosphere of this deeply spiritual location. Read the full article
