Team Pacisque incorrect quotes
Elaine: What’s it like being tall?
Pyro: Is it nice?
Mo: Can you reach comfortably for the cupboards?
Sarah: We live in constant fear of the short ones who, in my experience, will climb four chairs, two boxes, a small coffee table, and six oddly placed stools to get what they want.

Troublesome Twin: I Love You
Warning list-
hunger games warning, abusive family, mother died in childbirth with the twins, Arachne, Coriolanus Snow, Dr. Gaul, violence, and murder.
I think that’s all, let me know if there’s more!
Word count- 1725
Coryo woke and saw Y/N sleeping in his arms, her leg on his leg still as he gently rubbed his thumb over her thigh. Y/N let out a small moan, leaning more into Coryo, making him swoon at the love he gets from her, and the love he gives her back.
“Coryo,” Y/N mumbled, looking up at him with half opened eyes, face smushed to his bare chest.
“Morning my love.” He smiled, looking down at her with so much love. “How are you feeling, baby?”
“It really hurts, Coryo. It hurts worse than anything.”
“I’m so sorry, baby.” He cooed. “I wish I could take all this pain away from you. Make it my own.”
“No. I don’t want you to. I don’t want to see you in pain.”
“But I don’t want to see you in pain, my love.”
“I don’t care. I never want you to be in pain. I’ll always be in pain if it means you don’t have to be.”
“My darling, love. Anytime you are in pain, my heart is in so much pain, I can’t take it. Will you let me take care of you?”
“Of course, baby.” Y/N let out, nuzzling her head into his chest. “You never have to ask to take care of me. I always want you to take care of me. Forever and always.”
“I always will my love. And our little babies one day.”
“Coryo,” Y/N squealed. “We’re too young to be talking about kids.”
“Oh, but my love, I know I’m going to marry you. Make you my wife, my baby mommy, and Panem’s First Lady.”
“Oh, Coryo. I will gladly be your wife one day. And be the first lady. And my gosh would I gladly have your babies for you. Gosh I would give you a hundred kids if you wanted them.”
“Now, let’s not get crazy my love.”
“I’m sorry, I just love you so much! My medicine just makes me really crazy.”
“I know my love.” Coryo kissed her head, then started to get up.
“Where are you going?” Y/N groaned, wrapping her arms around him.
“Darling, I got to get up,” Coryo breathed, putting his hands on her arms, gently moving them.
“Why?”
“Because, I got to get you your food and medicine.”
“I don’t want it.”
“I know, but you got to take it my love.”
“Don’t wanna.” Y/N moaned.
“I know,” Coryo let out, kissing her head. “I’m gonna go get it for you my love.”
“Coryo?”
“What is it baby?” Coryo asked, looking down at her.
“Can you hand me my guitar?”
“Of course my love.” Coryo smiled, walking to it.
“I forget how the West was won
I forget if this was ever fun
I just learned these people only raise you to cage you
Sarahs and Hannahs in their Sunday best
Clutching their pearls, sighing ‘What a mess’
I just learned these people try and save you
‘Cause they hate you
Too high a horse
For a simple girl to rise above it”
“That was beautiful, my love,” Coryo smiled, standing in the doorway with Y/N’s food and morphling.
“How long have you been there?” Y/N asked, sitting down her guitar.
“Since you started singing.”
“Really?” Y/N sighed.
“You sound beautiful, baby,” Coryo let out, walking to her and sitting on the bed next to her. “Why don’t you like it when people hear your music?”
“I don’t know, I just don’t think it’s good.”
“Darling, it’s amazing. You could make a career out of it if you wanted to.”
“I know. But I think I want to be the head gamemaker like my mother.”
“And you would be great at that my love.” Coryo smiled, kissing her head. “You’ll do great at whatever you want to do.”
“Okay, ready, baby?” Coryo whispered, as they walked in.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.” Y/N let out, squeezing his hand.
“Wakey wakey, my Capitol friends.” Lucky called. “I’m Lucky Flickerman and welcome to day number two of the 10th annual Hunger Games. Now, while most of you were getting your beauty sleep last night, something scintillating occurred. Bobbin from District 8, slaughtered.” Y/N held her breath as she tightened her grip on Coryo’s hand. “Which of these beasts slayed Bobbin from District 8? Either way, it doesn’t matter. 10 tributes remain. Reaper still at the top of the boards.”
“They’re not showing us what happened to that little boy.” One of their friends explained to Y/N and Coryo. “He clearly was killed right there. There’s cameras everywhere. It doesn’t make sense.”
“They said they were old cameras, Lysiie.” Festus explained. “Probably just another one of Coral’s.”
Y/N squeezed Coryo’ hand, looking up at him. Coryo looked down and saw the pain on her face as she looked down to her leg. Coryo nodded and sat down on the chair, bringing her down with him. “What can I do for you, baby?” Coryo whispered, kissing her head.
“Can you make the pain go away?” Y/N asked. The tears in her eyes and the pain all over her face made Coryo’s heartbreak.
“No.” He sighed. “I’m sorry baby. I wish I could. And if I could, you know I would.”
“I know.” Y/N sighed. “I just wish it could all go away.”
“I know, sweet girl. Do you want to go home?”
“I want to stay here with you.”
“Okay, my love.”
“What’s happening?” Y/N asked, as Jessup started to accuse Lucy Gray.
“What’d you do to me?” Jessup asked.
“Nothing!”
“Coryo,” Y/N whispered, desperately looking up at her boyfriend.
“Lyssie, what is he doing?” Coryo asked, carefully moving to get up without hurting Y/N who was sitting.
“Something’s wrong. He wouldn’t turn on her like this.” Lyssie explained, as Jessup started chasing Lucy Gray.
“Coryo,” Y/N squeaked, scared they were about to lose each other. Coryo didn’t respond, but he rubbed her shoulders.
“Jessup going after Lucy Gray.” Lucky explained.
“Go to the stands, go to the stands,” Y/N breathed.
“Stop running! What did you…” Jessup yelled. “What did you do to me?”
“I didn’t do anything!”
“Both tributes from District 12. The same district folding in on itself.” Lucky explained.
“Wait look,” Coryo let out.
“The foam.” Y/N cut in.
“I think it’s rabies. That bite. From that train. Send him water.” Coryo ordered.
“Wait, what?” Lyssie asked. “You remember the posters from the war?”
“Rabies. It makes you afraid of water. Send him the drone.”
“That will scare him.” “Yes. Away from her.” Coryo explained, as Y/N held one of his hands that was on her shoulder. “Jessup is done. Lyssie, you’re the only one that can get it right to him.”
Lyssie sighed, but went to her communipad.
“Ms. Vickers going for her communipad early.” Lucky commented.
“Thank you,” Coryo breathed.
“Sending a drone,” Lucky continued.
“Nothing to be proud of,” Lyssie stated to Coryo.
Everyone watched as Jessup died. Y/N let out a sigh as she felt Coryo relax a little and kissing her head.
Y/N shook and sniffled a little as she whipped her eyes. Coryo crouched down next to her and cupped her face. “Hey, it’s okay, baby. It’s okay. He was going to kill her. We had to get him killed.”
“I know. It’s not just that, I’m also in a lot of pain.”
“I know, sweet girl.” Coryo cooed. “It’s not quite time to take your medicine yet though. I’m sorry baby.”
“It’s okay.”
“Oh, look at this!” Lucky called, knocking them out of their moment to look and see the group cornered in on Lucy Gray. “The Pack doing what they do best. Packing it in. Lucy Gray is swarmed, cornered. Mizzen, propellering his net.”
“Coryo,” Y/N gasped. “Send her water.”
Coryo nodded and quickly reached for the communipad to send the water.
“Mr. Snow going for his communipad.”
Everyone watched as the drones flew in and knocked out some of the other tributes.
“These drones aren’t very good.” Lucky mused.
“Hey!” Someone called. “You can’t attack the tributes!”
“I’m just sending water.” Coryo let out.
“Again, a fall,” Lucky trailed on. “Ending a tribute's life.”
Everyone watched as Dill fell dead. Y/N and Coryo knew that Luncy Gray had poisoned the water she had just taken a sip from.
“Coryo,” Y/N squeaked, barely audible.
“It’s okay, love.” Coryo let out, wrapping his arms around her.
“We did that,” Y/N whispered as she buried her head in Coryo’s neck. “It was my idea. It was my fault.”
“Hey, stop. Stop this,” Coryo breathed, kissing her head. “None of this is your fault, okay? We didn’t know she was going to drink it. Besides, we have to do this for us. So we can be together forever. As soon as this is done, and we win, I can keep you safe for the rest of our lives.”
“I love you.”
“I love you more.” He let out, hand accidentally gracing where she got stabbed, causing her to hiss in pain. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry my love.”
“It’s okay, you didn’t mean to hurt me. It just hurts really bad.”
“I know, my love. I know.”
“Capitol citizens, I’m afraid I must interrupt our Games to announce a tragic loss, one that affects us all. Felix Ravinstill, son of our beloved president…” Dr. Gaul cut in on the screen. “Has, this morning, succumbed to his injuries sustained in the rebel bombing. Out there in the districts, they will be celebrating this young boy’s death as a triumph. I will not allow my Games to give our enemy such a victory. I swear to you, here and now, before the sun goes down tonight, a rainbow of destruction will engulf our arena. Even if it means there’s to be no victor in these Games.”
“The snakes.” Y/N breathed, trying to get up.
“Love, what are you doing?” Coryo asked, as he caught Y/N as she lost balance. “‘A rainbow of destruction.’ Coryo, it’s my mothers snakes. She’s going to send them in.”
“She wouldn’t do that to us would she?” Coryo asked.
“It’s not her.” Y/N breathed, fear in her eyes. “It’s my father.”

LOSER'S BRACKET NOMINATIONS!
It is time to announce the LOSER'S BRACKET!
The Loser's Bracket is meant to give some love to characters who lost early, so anyone who has made it to the Quarterfinals and farther (even if they lose there) has gotten far enough they don't really need the love of the Loser's Bracket. During our last tournament Red Riding Poll, the Loser's Bracket winner was a character who hadn't even made it out of Round 1! This is for all the characters who might have been less recognizable but still awesome, to all the characters that got overshadowed by others.
The rules for nominations:
The Loser's Bracket will be either a 16 or 32 single elimination bracket, depending on the amount of nominations that are sent in.
Unlike the main tournament, where the polls each lasted a week, the polls for the Loser's Bracket will last only a day. That means the entire Loser's Bracket will probably last around a week.
Nominate as many characters as you want, but don't nominate the same character multiple times. Be mindful that the most nominated characters will be the ones that will make it to the bracket. Also nominate characters one at a time.
Propaganda from the Main Tournament will not appear, but feel free to submit any propaganda you want for why the character should win the Loser's Bracket!
Nominations open today and will close on the 15th of January, the same day the Quarterfinals of the main tournament loses.
Be respectful! Just because your fave didn't make it as far as you wanted in the main tournament or the Loser's Bracket, doesn't mean that the other contestants aren't worthwhile either! Remember, every character in this tournament have people who love them just as much as you love your fave, so please be courteous!

15 Question Character Interview
thank you to @winterandwords for putting this tag game on my radar :)
The following is a transcript of an interview conducted with Will Moore and Kat Barrick from the Shattered Star trilogy. This interview was conducted in an undisclosed location due to the interviewees' status as wanted fugitives.
Interviewer: Could you state your full names, for the record? Will: William Edward Moore. Kat: No. [Will nudges her] Fine. Katherine Jasmine Barrick. I: Are you named after anyone? Will: I'm named after my great-grandfather, I think. Maybe great-great-grandfather. My Hebrew name, Tzemach, means "shoot" or "sapling," which I think is why I'm a florist. [Kat snorts] And my dad had to stick his name in there somewhere, so it's my middle name. Kat: I'm named after Saint Catherine and my middle name is the national flower of the Philippines. I: When was the last time you cried? Kat: none of your fucking business. Will: [meditatively] I think last time Kat kicked me awake in the middle of the night for snoring. She got me right in the kidney. I: Do you have any kids? Will: we have six kids, actually--[Kat kicks him in the shin] We don't have human children. We have kittens. Kat: they're not our kids. stop implicating me in this. I: Do you use sarcasm? Will: only in service of a pun. Otherwise customers might think you're making fun of them. Kat: only when Will is speaking.
I: What's the first thing you notice about people? Will: uh...their face, I guess? Kat: whether or not they're armed. I: What's your eye color? Kat: do your eyes work. [I: no, like how would you describe your eye color] say it like that next time. brown. Will: grey. apparently sometimes they look like the moon--[Kat kicks him in the shin again] nobody has ever compared them to that. I: Scary movies or happy endings? Will: Happy endings, obviously! Kat: no comment. I: Any special talents? Will: Well I'm a florist--[Kat groans]--so I like to think I have an eye for color. [I: uh...what about the bow and arrows?] that's more like a hobby. Kat: I paint and I throw knives. I: Where were you born? Will: Trenton, New Jersey. Kat: why do you care? [Will nudges her] DC. I: What are your hobbies? Will: I've been doing archery since I was a kid, so there's that...other than that...botany, I guess? Kat: I paint. [I: ...the knives?] that's not a hobby. I: Any pets? Will: We have six cats: Maggie, Arachne, Harpo, Sleepy, Flop, and Runt. Kat: Sarah. Will: yeah, but she is the runt. Maggie's blind and likes to ride around on my shoulder or in my pocket. she tends to use her teeth to express her opinion. Kat: Arachne's my favorite. [Will gasps] she eats spiders. I: What sports do you play or have you played? Will: Archery. I've won a bunch of competitions at the local and state level, and last summer I went to nationals. I was going to try out for the Olympics but I missed the tryouts. [I: Why?] I was in prison. Kat: I was on the swim team in high school. I: How tall are you? Kat: WHY do you care? Will: 6 foot 1. I: Favorite subject in school? Will: P.E. Kat: art and social studies. I: dream job? Will: ex-Olympic archer-turned-florist. beyond that, I think I'd be happy as a park ranger. Kat: anything but politics.
let me know if you would like to be added to the taglist for this wip <3
I'll tag @writinglyra, @akindofmagictoo, and @sleepyowlwrites if you all want to participate!

Sometimes, A family can be
A Ghost who used to be a witch and has commited genocide before chilling the fuck down and now chooses to willing to suffer through immortality as she watches her friends die before her
A Spider Monster scientist who is probably the most sane and mentally stable of the bunch and constantly wonders how she managed to somehow get in there in the first place (Bur she wouldn’t trade it for anything)
A girl who is figuratively a living furnace with how her fire can melt metal, yet she is super shy and nice and will probably bake you a cupcake once and a while, will faint at the sight of blood from witnessing her parents death
A girl who is thought to be the leader due to her soul type but is actually not good or want to lead them and prefers to just follow, probably could and can hibernate for a week if she wants to
A monster cat who is cheery and bubbly even at his teens, he’s an orange cat, it makes sense(jk). is the baby of the team and would happily take a bullet for a stranger.
A Trans ftm boy who will make it his mission to make you laugh, whether that be jokes, acts, prankts, etc. Hates the hell out of other ‘pranksters’ whom seem to just laugh at their victims rather than laugh with like he does.
and His older twin brother who supports him all the way and is the rock to his chaotic energy, probably the second sane in the team as he basically is probably the most normal out of everyone-
This is team pacisque in a nutshell ya’ll

It’s finally time! The Last Unicorn Tarot, which started as a project from multiple artists, is locking orders and shipping on Monday, April 8th!! The deck price is steep, but it’s a fully illustrated all original commissioned art for The Last Unicorn made by incredible artists Adrianne Tamar Arachne, Sarah Fenton, Holly Fedderman, Medusa the Dollmaker, and Anika Burrell. The deck is not only an incredible work, it’s also got a ton of merchandise to go with it, with proceeds going directly back to Peter S. Beagle.
Proceeds going to the original author might seem weird, but this is a great tribute to one of the great literary works of our time, one that led to a great original testament to 2D animation with the movie. Mr. Beagle had unfortunately gotten a raw deal when it came down to licensing and rights of anything regarding The Last Unicorn, and saw very little from what was produced from merchandise and movie.
The deck started 2 years ago and will begin to ship next week, and you can get some sweet merch if you’re a fan of The Last Unicorn, this deck is really an amazing collection item, and you can also get an intricately carved box to match the deck, spread cloth, scarves, pins, signed cards, or an original leatherbound edition of the book.
You can buy the deck here or here!
Visit Adrianne Tamar Arachne, Sarah Fenton, Holly Fedderman, Medusa the Dollmaker, or Anika Burrell

@variantmuses Shelly for Eric (Hallow’s Eve)
Halloween. Their favorite time of year. Though arguably, every day was Halloween in their lives. They enjoyed theatrics, costumes, gore. With her eye for detail, and his soulful words they could always come up with the best way to spend their time together.
Tonight was no different. Eric’s band was going to be playing amongst others at The Blackout. While both of them were going to be working (she was going to be doing marketing for the club’s event) they could have plenty of time together in between all of that. She’d chosen a spider queen idea inspired by Arachne, making the dress herself with Sarah’s help. While Eric had to follow his band’s chosen theme, vampires.
“Stay still would ya?” Shelly smiled playfully as she powdered Eric’s face a little more. “Once we put the fangs in, I’m sure Gabriel will stop trying to distract you.” She set the brush and the powder down, and dusted her hands off, before offering him the mirror. “I think that’s pale enough for Dracula right? I could probably add a little more definition along the cheek?” she mused aloud questioningly wondering if he was okay with it or not.

❛ Well, what do you suggest we do? ❜
The Maze Runner Film Trilogy Prompts
The dragoon was panting heavily, taking a moment only to brush the sweat off her face and then stare at Loqi - her expression was hard to describe, even for someone who had known her for so long as the former general. It showed disbelief, frustration, some admiration and most of all… Anger.
The object of Aranea’s whirlwind of emotions, however, wasn’t her friend - or the darkness surrounding them, or even the three arachnes they had killed outside the derelict jewelry shop in Insomnia…. But the fortified glass display that held a collection of beautiful engagement rings, all of them untouched for at least five years after the fall of the city to their homeland.
True to her word (and mostly because Loqi knew how to push her buttons), the dragoon had taken him to the capital to loot the stores after a suitable piece of jewelry for Kimia. And surprisingly enough, they had found it - an entire display at the back of the shop, with the rings shining prettily under their flashlights as if they had been crafted the day before, if not for the accumulated dust. So close…
…And so out of their reach with that indestructible glass.
“Seriously, if what Ignis says is anything to go by, this city was a freaking oasis. Why this glass?” Aranea leaned against the display, not even caring for the weigh she was adding - damn thing would never break anyway. “My spear can tear this thing apart, but it will also damage the rings. I don’t think we have a way out. Your blade won’t work either.”
“…You have a point.”
They both fell silent again, eyes cast downwards admiring the rings. Aranea sighed and Loqi did the same, his finger circling the glass above the one he would have probably picked for Kimia. She was so fucking angry that she actually punched the glass, only to curse herself for the pain she received in return.
But pain helped - it cleared her mind. She suddenly reached for Loqi and shook him, urgently.
“Sarah.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Let’s go back and bring Sarah. Sarah will know how to break this thing apart without damaging the rings. Let’s hope she agrees to this.”
Loqi’s smile was the answer Aranea needed - she had a partner in their crazy mission.
