Interesting

This isn’t interesting in the slightest, but it’s about the word “interesting.” I’m an idiot most of the time, and so I tend to just swap out the actual word for words I think are acceptable in replacing said word. Recently, it’s been “McScuse me?!” instead of “excuse me” (thank you, Libbie Higgins). Another example is “probz” in place of “probably” ...or sometimes “problems,” which probably violates some rule of double-usage. Hahaha! For interesting, I used to say “interesante!” And then for some reason, I started shortening it to “sant.” ...and then, for an even stranger, nonsensical reason, I replaced it with “santerson.” I only bring this up because during rounds, one of my residents stated this little known fact about one of the meds our patient was on, and like the good (a.k.a. dumbass) attending that I am, I said, “Oooohh, santerson.” And the residents turned to me and were like, “Wat.” And thus I had to explain myself. And I thought it was funny. Because to me, “santerson” just automatically means “interesting.” But then I realized with this previous encounter that to everyone else around, when uttering this non-word aloud, it’s absolute gibberish. Hahaha! I’m weird. But I thought this was kinda hilarious. ...anybody else do this kind of shit? No? Just me? Okay. Bye.
