I really wanted to return to the town of Alcántara for more photos (and to enjoy this rather lovely place), but it seems that will be slightly difficult in the next times.

By the way, the green 4x4 you see in the bottom photo is not, strictly speaking, a Land Rover - it's a Santana Ligero 88. It's based on the Land Rover 1/2 ton Lightweight, but it was developed by Santana Motors for the Spanish Army, even if, later, versions for civil use - like this one - were also produced.
