I made a height chart for the Hakuouki characters based on what their height is listed as on the official illustration book. I find it a useful art reference when drawing fanart. Fell free to take and use this obviously.

Hakuouki as broken dolls:

侍失格永倉 Nagakura, who failed being a samurai

仁消滅山南 Sannan, who's humanity vanished

花吐き沖田 Hanahaki Okita

光紛失土方 Hijikata, that lost his light

Unpoetical written concepts:

Nagakura: although born in a samurai family, he notices that he has not the ambition to be a samurai like Kondou and Hijikata want to be.

Sannan: he's broken and the darkness creeps to the surface inside the darkness something inhuman resides.

Okita: Hanahaki is a concept, where you vomit or cough up flowers, representing an unrequited love. He feels abandoned because he thinks Kondou chooses Hijikata over him.

Hijikata: he lost his sight, because Kondou died, he cannot look or go forward

I know I said I graduated, but I still can remember it in good memory, also I bought a new drawing program and this way I can try out a variety of working techniques
