తాత్పర్యము : ఈ జీవునకు జిహ్వచాపల్యము, విషయలౌల్యము గల వారితో, సాంగత్యము కలిగినచో, అతనికి వాటియందే ఆసక్తి పెరిగి, వారిని అనుగమించును. తత్ఫలితముగా మునుపటి వలె అతడు మరల నరకమునందు పడిపోవును.

🌴 7. Lord Kapila's Instructions on the Movements of the Living Entities - 32 🌴

32. yady asadbhiḥ pathi punaḥ śiśnodara-kṛtodyamaiḥ āsthito ramate jantus tamo viśati pūrvavat

MEANING : If, therefore, the living entity again associates with the path of unrighteousness, influenced by sensually minded people engaged in the pursuit of sexual enjoyment and the gratification of the palate, he again goes to hell as before.

PURPORT : It has been explained that the conditioned soul is put into the Andha-tāmisra and Tāmisra hellish conditions, and after suffering there he gets a hellish body like the dog's or hog's. After several such births, he again comes into the form of a human being. How the human being is born is also described by Kapiladeva. The human being develops in the mother's abdomen and suffers there and comes out again. After all these sufferings, if he gets another chance in a human body and wastes his valuable time in the association of persons who are concerned with sexual life and palatable dishes, then naturally he again glides down to the same Andha-tāmisra and Tāmisra hells.

Generally, people are concerned with the satisfaction of the tongue and the satisfaction of the genitals. That is material life. Material life means eat, drink, be merry and enjoy, with no concern for understanding one's spiritual identity and the process of spiritual advancement. Since materialistic people are concerned with the tongue, belly and genitals, if anyone wants to advance in spiritual life he must be very careful about associating with such people. To associate with such materialistic men is to commit purposeful suicide in the human form of life. It is said, therefore, that an intelligent man should give up such undesirable association and should always mix with saintly persons. When he is in association with saintly persons, all his doubts about the spiritual expansion of life are eradicated, and he makes tangible progress on the path of spiritual understanding.

Conformity to reality is dharma, and anything opposed to it is adharma. The principle of reality is what determines the nature of dharma or virtue, goodness or righteousness, or rectitude in action, conduct, behaviour, thought and feeling. So a person who does not have a correct idea of what reality is cannot be really virtuous or righteous. Our social forms of goodness and virtue, rectitude and legality are relative to the conditions in which we are placed, and inasmuch as they have no reference to the ultimate reality of things, we have to go on changing our colours like chameleons from day to day.

But there can be harmony between the relative forms of dharma and the ultimate form of it. Our daily conduct may vary according to the needs of the hour. Seasons, social circumstances, the state of one's health and various other requirements of the time may demand a relative expression of conformity, all which has to be in harmony, finally, with a principle motive which cannot change.

🌴. యోగి శరీరం మరియు బంధం నుండి విముక్తి పొందినప్పటికీ, అతను తన శారీరక విధులను సజీవంగా ఉంచడానికి తపస్సు లేదా పూజలు వంటి క్రియలు చేస్తాడు. 🌴

🌴. Although Yogi is liberated from the body and bondage, he performs his bodily functions as acts of penance or worship to keep it alive. 🌴

But for such a yogi, such rituals are just not needed. He carries out his normal activities without being deluded by rituals. He knows that he needs to stay with God consciousness all the time. The consequences of breaking this link have already been discussed in earlier aphorisms. For him, simultaneously remaining in God consciousness as well as carrying out his normal duties itself is a virtuous act. As he behaves just like any other person, people tend to believe that he is just another person. Such yogis do not exhibit their stage externally. They continue to retain their bodies merely to serve the humanity and their accumulated karma-s are spent like this.

Sakat Chauth is one of the two auspicious dates of Chaturthi. • Chanting Vedic mantras or mantras dedicated to Lord Ganesha on the day of Sakat Chauth brings blessings. On Sankashti Chaturthi, devotees chant Ganesh Stotra, Sankashtanashan Stotra and Vakratundha Mahakaya.

• On this day, most devotees perform the Aarti of Lord Ganesha and recite Chaturthi Vrat Katha. The rituals of this day end with the sighting of the moon. Apart from this, devotees also worship Shri Ganesh Yantra on this day.
