🔹Home For peace and happiness in the house🔹
🔹Proper observance of the rules of Vastu Shastra helps in balancing the biochemical activity of the body.
🔹By placing a threshold at the main door of the house or Vastu, many evil forces cannot enter and stay away. Every morning, make a rangoli in the shape of Swastika, Kalash, etc. with cow dung mixed with turmeric, kumkum, and cow urine in front of the main door and place it on the threshold. After worshipping the threshold and rangoli, one should pray to God 'O God! Please protect my house and health from evil forces.'
🔹Tie a garland (Bandanwar) made of leaves of neem, mango, Ashoka, etc. above the entrance It is auspicious.
🔹There should not be a dining room, kitchen or dining table in front of the main door of Vastu.
🔹Apart from the main door, a threshold must be installed on the doors of the prayer room, dining room, and locker room.
🔹Bhoomi Pujan, Vastu Shanti, Griha Pravesh, etc. should generally not be done on Saturday and Tuesday.
🔹Householders should not install white marble in the bedroom. It is appropriate to install it in the temple because it is a symbol of purity.
🔹Office The place to sit for work, study, etc. should not be under the beam of the ceiling as it causes mental pressure.
🔹Cooking or doing anything under the beam should not be done. This can cause financial loss. Sleeping under the beam should not be done under the beam. This causes bad health and one is unable to sleep properly.

LONDON CHRONICLES: A PILGRIMAGE THROUGH EMINENT LANDMARKS, CULINARY DELIGHTS, AND CULTURAL WONDERS
Tumblr media
In my recent trip to London, I was fascinated with a variety of landmarks and cultures, but the greatest fascination was the red post telephone booth which is unique with Britain. Located at the end of one of those small city streets, the booth represented time-honored practices in the middle of the highly technological environment. When I got near it the feeling of comfort came over me, like I was going to enter space ship which has been in the time capsule for years.
The door of the house was bright red but it seemed to have faded somewhat with time though it was still very striking against the gray sky in London; I was encouraged to go in. The interior was not very big but portrayed history, every stain on the wall seemed to be a record of all the discussions that took place in this room. At the time I thought about how many people used the poles for similar purpose like me- calling loved ones, celebrating happy times or planning unhappy ones or just to make plans for future. A very basic structure which was this booth also gave a feeling of a little private world where one could just relax and step back from the chaos of life in the city.
I eventually proceeded around London and even as I continued moving around, I felt that it was a rather customary construction but it proved to be significant enough to make me want to take a picture with it. The telephone booth was still standing in London which I believe is a sign that there is greatness in anticipating the future yet at the same time there is greatness in conserving history.

Tours at the Shri Sanatan Alperton Hindu Mandir in London was great, a great opportunity to get familiar with the Hindu culture and traditions. The first time when I entered the building that had beautiful glass carved wooden doors, I immediately felt calm and sacredness. When I set foot into the mandir due to stunning works of craftsmanship in the form of the domes apart from the carved wooden doors it gave me the feeling that I was in completely different world different from the busy streets of London.
In the premises of mandir the fragrance of incense filled the air and the sound of mantras being chanted was very calming. I paused for a minute, I realized all the gods were artistically designed; wearing nice clothes and attractive colors representing different spirits. After catching my breath and settling down on the mat of the prayer hall, I couldn’t but feel connected to something beyond myself – the spirituality in the hall and the people. It was a poignant note that one could only recall the fact that faith does not see colour and how a temple like the Shri Sanatan Mandir unites them all.
I do not recall my Shri Sanatan Alperton Hindu Mandir experience as a mere culture-vulture exercise as watching living tradition unrolling in front of me. It only made me embrace the beauty of Hindu rituals which are very much profound in their spiritual significance. This was a time to be thoughtful and to pray, a that I will be sure to never forget and the significance and peace of nature in the middle of the chaos.

Our trip to the picturesque town of the Cotswolds is seen as location shooting in one of the areas that look like they have been transported straight from the medieval ages. The narrow honeycolored stone villages were giving me the impression of telling stories of ages and ages. The numerous hills of North Yorkshire could be seen in the background with sheep grazing on it, creating scenes that looked so picturesque they could be movie set-ups. Just around every corner there was something interesting—a lovely little tea house here and there, a three hundred year old church there and so on; the area is just plain cute. There was an eerie feeling of time standstill and I was completely in the serene countryside setting.
It was the great pleasure to visit the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-water which is also called the Venice of the Cotswolds because a gentle river also flows through the village which is divided with arched stone bridges. I passed the afternoon walking by the river side and visiting shops one is a small dress shop or two is an English tea shop that served scones and clotted cream and jam. Kindness of the people and the generally relaxed atmosphere helped to make me focus on the beauty of nature and history in such an agreeable manner.
This is the kind of feeling that I got in the end of my stay in the picturesque village in the Cotswolds region of England. This was something that made me fall in love with the region, timeless beauty of the region, the history and most importantly the friendliness of the people. It was actually more than just a trip as it had become rather a message about how beautiful and slow life is as we walk and discover the world hidden in the corners. Without any doubt, the Cotswolds, surrounded by its beautiful countryside and picturesque villages, will always be one of my favorite places reminding me that there is nothing better than beauty, calm, and the grace of English countryside.

Walking through the gates of the Buckingham Palace the unique and timeless atmosphere of the elegance and royal sophistication can be felt. The recent experience that I had here was incredible I can confidently say was incredible. Even before getting into the palace, this was one of the biggest buildings I have ever seen and it was magnificent. While the designs painted on the exterior and interior were very detailed and the garden was also well-cared, it felt and seemed like a typical British Royal magnum opun.
In my opinion the most memorable session that I took during my visit was the one that led to the State Rooms. Every room is outstanding in its decoration and equipped with luxurious furniture and genuine mementos which reflect the history of the British crown. In this respect, it was indeed possible to imagine that there were still echoes of history of important events and royal banquets from inside the palace hall. The masterpiece displayed in the palace and the excellent furnishing confirmed the historical value of the palace as well as the symbol of royalty.
Walking around in the palace at night was very pleasant with the difference between the lively city environ and the calm of the palace. Watching the Changing of the Guard was perhaps the nicest traditional British vignette I could have included to the experience. After visiting the Buckingham Palace I realized that it is not just a palace but a part of history that shows people like us the lifestyles of British royal family.

The Glorious Satyanarayan Pooja: Procedures & Benefits Of Vrat Katha
Belonging to the ‘Sanatan Dharma’, you must be well-acquainted with Satyanarayan Pooja. Today, you are going to discover some of its procedures and advantages.
Tumblr media
The creation of this phenomenal universe is still no less than a mystery. According to various holy books, the fountainhead of all existence moves around the “Sanatan Dharma.” Hindus mainly worship Trinity gods namely Brahma (the creator), Mahesh (the destroyer) and Vishnu (the preserver).
All You Need To Know About The Divine “Satyanarayan”
The celestial “Satyanarayan Pooja” is one of the most auspicious rituals that people of different regions in India celebrate. This pooja is very common in Bengal, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The word is a combination of two terms. The first is “Satya” which means truth and the second is “Narayana” meaning the ultimate form of existence. Hence, one conducts the Satyanarayan Pooja for praising the Narayana incarnation of Lord Vishnu. In Hinduism, Lord Vishnu is the supreme form of truth.
Being one of the most propitious occassion, devotees perform Satyanarayan Pooja on special occasions. These can be anything from marriages to birthdays and house-warming ceremonies. One can also celebrate their accomplishments by conducting this heavenly pooja at their home. Additionally, it is very easy to buy spiritual products online these days and make your worshipping successful. Although you can perform it on any day, the best day is on a Purnima or full moon day of any month.
The months of Vaisakh, Karthik, Chaitra and Shravan are the most pious months for keeping a Satyanarayan Katha. Devotees of Lord Vishnu mainly owe their success to Lakshmi-Narayan. Thus, Satyanarayan pooja is considered a thanksgiving ceremony by the devotees.
Procedures For Conducting Satyanarayan Pooja
This spiritual pooja begins with offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. Additionally, doing so removes all obstacles that could hinder the smooth puja process. Place customized frames of the divine deity at the centre of your room. Further, chant various prayers and offer Prasada to Lord Ganesha like Modak.
Then, begin your pooja by reciting Satyanarayn Katha. Make sure that all devotees participate actively in the story and listen to it wholeheartedly. Besides, this story includes the origin and involvement of the ritual. One can conduct the prayer with Aarti, the ritual of revolving a Diya in front of the image of Lord Satyanarayan.
