Hi, I’m Destiny Dessa aka @thechantelroyal  (aka @chantelroyal/@sanfranciscodreaming)

I started posting as Chantel Royal on ffn way back in 2011 when I was 16 years old and I just kinda fell in love with writing, fanfiction, creating and reading about original characters. I had no idea what I was doing (and still don’t), that writer’s block was a thing nor did I realize that I could burn myself out. That’s exactly what happened, unfortunately, and I’ve been on a posting hiatus ever since. I’ve slowly been getting my writing muse back over the years but I’m still not ready to start posting fic again. Aside from the small oc/fic tidbits on my blog and graphics (which I’ve started really getting into), I’m mostly just the chaotic, plot bunny, girl right now!

Regardless of all that my passion for writing, fanfic and ocs has not left me! I adore ocs but I’ve also experienced what happens when [insert mean word here] people don’t and by that I mean they’ve sent unnecessary hate. That’s why I wanted to be a part of a blog that helps celebrate and appreciate ocs, no matter the fandom, no matter the writer’s skill level because we all have to start somewhere. 

I’m so excited to be here and apart of this community and I look forward to finding some more ocs to love:))
