Samsung QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV review
Samsung's latest QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV technologically outpaces its predecessor, the QN900A Neo QLED 8K TV, with remarkable strides in image processing, especially in terms of backlighting precision, and audio enhancements, courtesy of the seamless integration with Dolby Atmos and Samsung's Q-Symphony 2.0. Even though the QN900B retains the same number of dimming zones from its previous version, it showcases a remarkable boost in lighting accuracy. Credit goes to the revamped Neo Quantum Processor, which now incorporates Shape Adaptive Light technology. Using AI-driven algorithms, this tech refines the backlighting in tune with on-screen object shapes, dramatically curbing light blooming seen in earlier models. Samsung's Real Depth Enhancer further elevates this, delivering exceptional visuals. Beyond visuals, sound quality sees significant enhancements. Integrated up-firing speakers create a Dolby Atmos immersion without necessitating an external soundbar. Yet, if paired with Samsung's soundbars, the QN900B's Q-Symphony audio generates an all-encompassing sound experience devoid of any discernible echo. On the software side, 2022 introduces Samsung's revamped Smart Hub user interface, first seen with The Freestyle projector. The new full-screen interface, reminiscent of Google TV, emphasizes content exploration. Yet, it's not a hit for everyone; quick adjustments or mode switches can be a cumbersome process, making the experience a tad exasperating for some. In sum, Samsung's thoughtfulness in upgrading its Neo QLED flagship is evident. It addresses previous model's minor backlighting inconsistencies and enhances areas like integrated audio. While those with last year's model might not need to switch, the QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV is a superb introduction to Mini LED novices.
Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN900B Mini LED TV Design
Boasting an unmatched, bezel-free design, the QN900B further refines Samsung's pursuit of display excellence. Building on the design strengths of the previous year's Neo QLED 8K flagship, the QN900B brings us even closer to an impeccable visual experience. Samsung remains true to its minimalist design ethos, presenting the 'Infinity' display, nearly devoid of bezels. This ensures viewers remain riveted to the content, free from the confines of traditional screen boundaries. The allure of this approach hasn't dimmed since its 2021 debut. The innovative approach from the QN900A, where speakers seamlessly blend into the TV's edges, remains a feature in the 2022 model. However, the speaker grille has undergone a transformation – transitioning from the dotted design to larger, pill-shaped cutouts. This design houses a more potent 90W 6.2.4 channel system with 12 speakers, an upgrade from the previous 80W 6.2.2 setup with 10 speakers. For those curious about its stance, the QN900B, though wall-mounted in our review, stands proudly on a base echoing the 2021's QN900A design – a commendable choice. The design is spacious, allowing for a broader screen than its base and offers the flexibility to affix Samsung's One Connect box. Speaking of which, the game-changing One Connect box graces this year's model, streamlining connectivity by housing all ports with just a single, nearly invisible cable linking it to the screen. Its significance to user-friendliness cannot be overstated. This box houses a range of ports, including four HDMI 2.1 ports, an ethernet slot, Digital Audio Out, three USB 2.0 ports, and an RF input for TV/satellite connections. One area Samsung aimed to improve from the previous model was the issue of screen glare and reflections. Though there's a perceptible enhancement in the QN900B's anti-reflective layer, some reflections linger during dark scenes. Regarding Samsung's choice to not adopt a matte finish like their 2022 The Frame model, the reason is clear. Matte screens scatter light across both the internal and external display layers, potentially compromising sharpness and light passage. Given that Samsung's Neo QLEDs prioritize vibrancy and clarity, this decision aligns with the brand's vision.
Samsung Neo QLED 8K Smart TV Performance
Peerless brightness and color intensity Significantly reduced light blooming Top-tier features for gaming enthusiasts Samsung's distinguished Neo QLED label points to its Mini LED TV series, which achieves near-OLED contrast levels due to the ultra-thin diodes, about 1/40th the size of traditional LEDs. This design choice lets Samsung integrate thousands of these minute diodes instead of mere hundreds, enhancing dimming zones and refining black levels. Reflecting on the QN900A from the previous year, it had remarkable contrast levels for an LCD TV, though light bleed issues persisted. After extended use of the QN900A, it's clear that the QN900B's design drastically diminishes light blooming. The QN900B's advanced Neo Quantum Processor 8K and the newly introduced Shape Adaptive Light technology play a pivotal role in this improvement. Leveraging AI, it aligns the backlighting precisely with on-screen object shapes. When revisiting a specific scene from "Alita: Battle Angel" known for its light bleed issues on the QN900A, the QN900B performed flawlessly, eliminating the previously observed light distortions. The overall image quality has seen a palpable boost, especially in terms of depth and contrast. The credit for this more dynamic display goes to Samsung's Real Depth Enhancer, which has leaped from 12-bit to 14-bit, offering quadruple the monochromatic color gradation levels. The visually captivating "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" showcased the QN900B's HDR capabilities. Vibrant colors, deep blacks, and dazzling highlights were all rendered flawlessly. Despite the QN900B boasting motion-smoothing and noise-reduction options, which can sometimes distort natural image quality, these can be adjusted according to user preferences. For purists, the QN900B offers the Filmmaker Mode, ensuring an unadulterated viewing experience. Importantly, this mode accentuates film grain, which is even more intricate on an 8K panel. Given the limited 8K content available, upscaling is vital. Samsung's AI-driven upscaling refines older content brilliantly. Classic cartoons on Disney Plus appear crisp despite their original 480p format, and even low-res content like "Ryan and Friends" impresses. For gamers, the QN900B is a dream come true. It houses four HDMI 2.1 ports, permitting several console connections while maintaining support for advanced gaming features. PC gamers are treated with 144Hz support this year. The TV also boasts a comprehensive Game Mode, providing frame rates, HDR status, resolutions, and more, with a Dynamic Black Equalizer feature to fine-tune shadow darkness, possibly giving gamers a strategic edge. Samsung Neo QLED 8K Smart TV Remote,Tizen OS Samsung's 2022 TV lineup introduces the new Smart Hub UI for its premium models, drawing inspiration from the Google TV format and emphasizing content suggestions from various streaming platforms. The UI effectively amalgamates TV shows and movies from diverse sources into one screen, enhancing user convenience. However, this full-screen approach marks the end of Samsung's petite, non-intrusive pop-up menu that users had grown accustomed to over the years. The shift to an all-encompassing home screen presents its own challenges. Simple tasks such as adjusting settings or toggling viewing modes become cumbersome. Instead of a quick few button presses, users must now exit their current viewing, navigate a side menu, and then delve into a separate settings submenu. On the bright side, Samsung's platform continues to provide seamless access to key streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime Video. Yet, not all additions have been well-received. The QN900B introduces access to the Nifty NFT (non-fungible token) marketplace. While some may appreciate the chance to showcase crypto-art through the TV's Ambient Mode, many might view it as an unnecessary, and potentially costly, gimmick. For those wary of the ever-growing NFT craze, its integration might be less than welcome. Switching gears, one of Samsung's laudable features makes a return: the environmentally-conscious light-powered TV remote. This innovative device is not just eco-friendly, but also practical. Drawing energy from both natural and artificial light via its rear solar panel, it also supports quick charging through a USB Type-C port. The remote, with its pared-down design, features a few essential function buttons, navigational keys, and volume and channel controls. It also includes dedicated buttons for popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney Plus, as well as Samsung's TV Plus app, offering an array of ad-supported content – ensuring you never run out of entertainment options. Samsung QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV Audio Enhanced built-in audio experience Noteworthy Q-Symphony integration Wireless Dolby Atmos compatibility for select soundbars Samsung's QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV showcases remarkable advancements in audio capabilities, with the standout being its up-firing speakers enabling Dolby Atmos sound potential. While a TV set alone can't fully replicate the depth achieved by standalone rear speakers and a subwoofer, the QN900B commendably elevates the auditory experience. This is largely due to Samsung's Object Tracking Sound Pro, which now tracks sounds in both vertical and horizontal dimensions, enhancing immersion. For those with a matching Samsung soundbar, the QN900B harmonizes beautifully using Samsung's Q-Symphony technology. This fusion results in a richer auditory landscape, especially enhancing dialogue clarity. A notable feature of Samsung's latest Neo QLED flagship is its capacity to wirelessly transmit Dolby Atmos audio to compatible Samsung soundbars via Wi-Fi. This could potentially free up an HDMI port for users, offering added convenience. Read the full article

Grab these Awesome Offers from Samsung UK!
With January 2023 on its way out, we've seen a lot of awesome tech products make their presence felt, alongside new announcements and releases for the coming year. With that said, if you were itching to get your hands on some sweet tech deals, then you might love what Samsung is currently offering for UK buyers. The company is running some pretty sweet deals for cashback and savings with several of its TV offerings. The promo began on January 25 and is running up until 14th March 2023, so you've got a considerably long timeframe to make up your mind if you want to get your hands on these deals. Customers who purchase a 2022 QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV can claim a free Galaxy Z Fold4, while a free Galaxy S22 can be claimed when purchasing a 2022 QN800B or QN700B Neo QLED 8K TV. Samsung is also running a cashback promotion, allowing customers to claim up to £300 cashback on 2022 Neo QLED 4K and OLED TVs and up £250 on selected Soundbars with an extra reward of £50 cashback when you buy a TV and Soundbar together. Furthermore, Samsung.com is running a promotion offering customers a free Lifestyle Soundbar when they buy a selected The Frame or The Serif. The free Galaxy Z Fold4 and S22 handsets do seem like a great perk, given that they rank among Samsung's most premium phones at the moment, with the main difference being added software and hardware functionality with the Z Fold. Besides smartphones, the South Korean electronics giant is also well-known for its TVs and monitors. Recently, Samsung unveiled its newest Odyssey Neo G7 monitor, which uses a flat Mini-LED design, and comes with a 43-inch display designed for immersive gaming, allowing for a more comprehensive range of vision and details during gaming sessions. The display’s large screen comes with 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160), alongside VESA Display HDR600 and HDR 10+ certification, and Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology which uses Quantum Mini LEDs. The Odyssey Neo G7 will be up for grabs beginning Q1 2023, although specific regional launch dates may vary. Folks looking forward to getting their hands on one will want to keep an eye out for pricing and any possible promos. Additionally, Samsung also announced a new line-up of displays during CES 2023 back in January. The monitors come with smart features and are designed for productivity, entertainment and gaming - these include Samsung’s Smart Monitor M8, Odyssey OLED G9, Odyssey Neo G9 Gaming Monitor, and the Samsung ViewFinity S9. Picture quality is fantastic - truly mind-bogglingly good, at times. The look sets a suitably premium, cutting edge tone. The Samsung QN95B Neo QLED's design picks up on the so-called Infinity theme of its predecessor, the lauded Samsung QN95A, with a barely-there frame around the screen, and a slim rear that’s as flat as the front, creating a striking monolithic effect.

If you're looking for a more affordable 4K TV this should definitely be on your shortlist. Samsung has made a very impressive TV for an equally impressive price, and while it's not up there with the firm's very best models it punches way above its price tag. There’s compatibility with the ALLM and HGiG aspects of next-gen games console specification, but there's no support for AMD FreeSync, which is a step backwards from last year's Samsung AU9000. The BU8500 features three HDMI 2.0 inputs including one with eARC for a soundbar. Sound quality isn't brilliant, but like most flat TVs we'd recommend hooking up one of the best soundbars or best AV receivers anyway: few LED or OLED TVs sound great without one. This is an exceptionally affordable TV, and while building affordable TVs does mean some compromises Samsung hasn't cut any important corners here: the Crystal 4K processor does a decent job of upscaling, albeit not to the same degree as the processors in Samsung's best TVs, and the backlighting is accurate with good brightness and contrast. It's a strong contender to be one of the best TVs under £1,000. It's an impressive 4K HDR LED display with good HDR (although as ever with Samsung, no Dolby Vision HDR), three HDMIs, voice control, two remotes and a Tizen smart TV interface with all the streaming apps you might want. The Samsung BU8500 is designed to offer some up-to-the-minute functionality, discreet looks, and rock-solid build quality at a price that the majority of us won’t baulk at. Read the full Samsung QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV review But that's a minor issue, and we stuck think that this is the best Samsung TV of 2022. While the TV itself is spectacular, the Smart Hub isn't. Samsung's new Smart Hub UI feels like a step backwards, making previously simple adjustments more time-consuming and complex. So why did we dock it half a star? The short answer: the software. And because it also has Samsung's Multi-Intelligence AI upscaling, the QN900A can deliver images that look much better than their source. With this TV, you won't see bright areas of the screen unnaturally bleed over into darker spots. That's because another benefit of smaller LEDs is that they are more precise and less prone to blooming, which is when light goes where you don't want it to go. That means more accurate dimming, enabling the Samsung to deliver black levels that to our eyes are almost indistinguishable to those of an OLED display. Those LEDs are 1/40th the thickness of a regular LED, meaning thousands of smaller LEDs can be packed together more tightly than in other LED TVs. The technology inside this TV's display panel is Samsung's 'Quantum' Mini LED. It looks pretty good when it's switched off too. Samsung's Mini LED-sporting QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV offers stunning picture quality, exceptional color and brightness, terrific sound and outstanding black levels. 8K is too much TV for many front rooms, but if you have the space and budget there's no doubt that the Samsung QN900B Neo QLED 8K TV takes home entertainment to a whole new level.

Revealing The 6 Best 8K Televisions of 2022
With significant progress in consumer electronics, the world of television is witnessing the rise of a new product, the 8K TV. An 8K television takes your viewing experience to a new level, as it has a whopping 7680x4320 pixel resolution and can future-proof your home cinema setup.
However, the best 8K televisions in 2022 are still for the enthusiasts who enjoy the most outstanding viewing experience and want to get a larger TV set (75-inches and above) for their home.
The top-selling televisions in this segment include the Samsung 8K TV, LG 8K TV, Sony 8K TV, and other brands, some of the biggest 8K TVs in the market. Of course, 8K TVs come with a premium tag, but the advanced features, unparalleled experience, and top-notch picture quality make it worth the price.
So if you are looking to buy the top-selling best 8K Televisions in 2022, here are the top picks that you can get easily at Sharaf DG.
The 6 Best 8K Televisions of 2022
Although 4K TVs are the top consumer preference at present, the best TV brands are slowly expanding to the 8K models, including top brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, and others.
To help you pick the ideal 8K television for your needs, here are the top 6 8K televisions of 2022:
SAMSUNG QN900B
Samsung has made a clear distinction with its unique NEO QLED technology, which also comes in the 8K television.
The Samsung QN900B comes in 65, 75, and 85-inch options, supports HDR10+ picture quality, offers plenty of 2.1 HDMI support, and has all the next-gen gaming features like FreeSync, VRR, ALL, and peak brightness and contrasts that are pretty impressive.
SAMSUNG QN800B
Another Samsung television in this list, the QN800B, has AI-based professing and upscaling, an advanced sound system, fantastic gaming features, and supports upscaling from 4K to 8K.
The TV comes in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch options and has a gorgeous design with a separate One Connect Box, which helps you get the best gaming and realism in your TV viewing.
SONY Z9J
Featuring triluminos LED technology and the Bravia XR processor, Sony Z9J is an impressive 8K TV with 75-inch and 85-inch options.
In addition, the big HDR10 television gives you a spectacular 8K viewing experience and has a great sound system.
LG Z1
One of the thinnest 8K TVs in the market, the LG Z1 comes in 77-inch and 88-inch options and is designed to look ultra-thin yet provide a spectacular viewing experience.
The 88-inch model comes with built-in speakers, and while this means you do not need any additional devices or speakers for this option, you cannot detach it from its base, so this model cannot be wall-mounted. Despite the minor limitation, both models support HDR10 and Dolby Vision and have impeccable per-pixel detail with near-perfect color accuracy and contrast, making it the most beautiful television you can ever watch!
LG QNED99
The LG QNED99 8K TV has exceptional features, including a Dolby Vision IQ HDR10 Pro image quality, excellent brightness and contrast thanks to the quantum dot Mini-LED display, fourth-generation AI processor, and Google Assistant, Alexa, and AirPlay control.
In addition, this 8K television is ideal for gamers thanks to its vivid color reproduction and high 120Hz refresh rates, with game optimization, HDMI 2.1 ports, and more. This is for you if you want a TV that supports your next-gen console gaming!
TCL 6-SERIES 8K 65-INCH
The most affordable 8K TV on this list, the TLC 6-Series 8K TV provides a quantum dot LCD with mini-LED backlighting and is an excellent option for gamers and movie enthusiasts.
In addition, this 8K television has excellent upscaling and exceptional color fidelity. Furthermore, it uses the Roku TV OS to enable you to get the best viewing experience in incredible 8K picture quality.
Conclusion
8K televisions are impressive, and with more premium content being created and showcased by OTT platforms, the 8K TV will surely be the next big thing. However, the technology is still in its early stages, and with the biggest 8K TVs being 75-inches and above, it requires a lot of space in your living room.
So if you are an enthusiast or have a dedicated viewing room or home theatre, 8K TV is the best match for your needs. And if you want to buy an 8K TV in UAE, there is no better and more reliable place than Sharaf DG, which helps you browse through all the available options and get the product delivered to your doorstep!
