06. Ideal mate: A creative thinker. Someone he can bounce idea's off of, but they don't necessarily have to be a smartypants like him.

08. Favorite food: Pasta. Anything pasta. Better yet if it's Rus's homemade spaghetti.

09. Crushes: Oh no, please don't ask that. Just, anyone attractive who gives him The Look is enough to make him love you.

10. Favorite music: He greatly enjoys woodwinds.

11. Biggest fear: Loosing his brothers :(

12. Biggest fantasy: Building something that will far outlast his name.

13. Bad habits: Once he gets going, he can easily sink into the process of Creation. Like Julian, he will go days with little food or sleep, not resting until he collapses from exhaustion.

14. Biggest regret: Not grabbing Belial and booking it to Vesuvia more often. Fuck politics.

15. Best kept secrets: He is so happy that what happened to Rus, happened. While Rus did a good job hiding it, he was a deeply unhappy man. The accident that wipped a vast majority of his memories was, in Tybalt's opinion, the best thing to have happened to him.

16. Last thought: "Oh, shit." (Upon learning who Bel's Dad was.)

17. Worst romantic experience: A chick laughed at him when he was naked once. Given, he was trying WAY too hard to impress her, but, ouch. (The guy was doing that stupid flex-thing that overly cocky, attractive guys do when they get nekkid with a chick for the first time.)

18. Biggest insecurity: Not being good enough. His father, Samont, is CRAZY smart when it cones to engineering. Not being able to showcase an ounce of that same intellectual capacity haunts him. (Samont is actually very proud of his son, and does his best to help and support him.)

19. Weapon of choice: He's mostly a scholar, but he is trained in the use of a short sword.

20. Role Model: He has a very good relationship with his father and granfather, and looks up to both of them. He hopes to rise to their level, and is unafraid of doing the work required.

PIXEL'S CAFE: AN OASIS FOR PLAYERS, A USUAL PLACE FOR DINERS

A person ascertains the word pixel, and he swiftly relates it to technology.  When he probes for a profound meaning, he extends his search in all of his information sources. The term is defined by the dictionary as any of the small discrete elements that together constitute an image. What he didn’t fathom is that Valenzuela City slightly diverges from the normal interpretation of pixel.

In a street of Malanday, Pixels Café can be located. One of the owners of the establishment was inquired about the business. A smile dominates Elaine Samonte’s face, perhaps she was reminiscing and became nostalgic by the blissful memories of the past while responding to the presented questions.

 HISTORY

The Samonte family, consisting of four progenies and two parents, lived the standard life in the 80’s and 90’s.  They had somewhat dissimilar but interconnected interests, probably because of their age intervals and priorities in life. The youngsters entertain themselves and also bond with each other by playing retro games ruled by 8-bit fictional characters, while the adults get immersed in establishing their careers to assist their financial needs. Furthermore, the matriarch is fond of food-related business endeavors, while her husband is into coffee and restaurants.

Almost two decades later, September of the year 2017, Pixels Café was introduced to the world. The 8-bit characters that once existed only on screens seem to morph into reality.  Elaine’s childhood had a tremendous influence in the enterprise itself. The name of the café came from the retro games that Elaine and her siblings played during their youth. Their mother and father’s enthusiasm in the field was a cherry on top. Everything fell in place.

Along the way, erecting this kind of business requires expertise, because as the owner, the objective is to satisfy the cravings and taste buds of your costumers. There was a faint inconvenience in the food formula and menu, for the siblings and their parents, despite their fondness of edible delicacies were not cuisine specialists.  The Samonte household’s determination and dedication were tested in finding a consultant chef, and fortunately, they were able to commission one to resolve the issues.

 WHAT’S NEW?

In order to be irreplaceable, one must be different. Elaine and her brothers pondered the menu names to make it unique from other restaurant menus. Marvin the Martian, Bugs Bunny Pork Liempo, Leonardo Waffle Split, Raphael Oreo Delight, Michaelangelo Fruity Overload, and Superman Classic originated from the distinctive epithets and recollections of the family long-ago.

Succeeding platters at Pixels Café also exhibited the tantamount scheme of its creators. The Granny’s Sweet and Sour Fish attempted to make an impression using batter fried fish swimming in homemade sauce and spring onions, and it did leave flavors on some parts of the fish. The balance of the seasonings were satisfactory, the sweet having a battle with the sour. On the other hand, in terms of presenting itself to its beau, it seemed lackluster.

Pixel’s Burger Overload was a fantasy. Perhaps it felt tremendous anxiety worrying about the great responsibility attached to its name overload that it completely forgot what it’s supposed to be. The fried potatoes resting beside the freshly baked brown buns had the same frequency as the fingers of human hands. Burgers should not also hesitate to increase their proportions, it’s a part of growing up. On the brighter side, the patty was overloaded with spices and salt- delivering the ultimate umami.

Arriba! Arriba! Nachos was a glass half-filled with water—the union of nachos, beef, black olives, cheese sauce, fresh tomato salsa and chives should have been extensive that may result to a satisfying feeling. A shrimp went solo on Shrek pesto, with the pasta tasting creamy from the olive oil and parmesan. It had high notes of pepper and earthy flavors. The best symphony would be possible with more accompaniment.

The tang of Greek Foam-covered Iced Coffee in the style of Oreo and vanilla should be amplified like the music on a Friday night as well as the Dark Choco and Wintermelon Milktea. Wonder Berry makes individuals contemplate whether they are granted with icing sugar and ice cream that was originally written on the menu, or a strawberry jam with faint traces of sweet flavors.

The Porky Pig Sisig, pork liver and jowls were bombarded with white onions, citrus, chives, and fried egg. Meat pops moderately in the mouth, yet the pork was vaguely controlled by its oiliness, and the general texture.

Raphael Oreo Delight was included in the dean’s list. Edges of the plate were overlapping with the patterned sunset-colored waffles. Oreo and whipped cream smooched caramel syrup above the pancake. Savoring this piece of heaven guarantees brief but genuine euphoria.

Other parts of the café were dedicated to entertainment. Guests were awed by the set of games that amuses the contenders, such as UNO cards, jenga, and varieties of board games. The atmosphere was congenial; the people are able to have a rapport with the café and its staff. Places must have good ventilation in all areas, and this is one of the factors that has a room for rectification.

Surfeited with delicacies, a final question wafted the air. What makes people come back? Elaine stares and reflects for a moment, before stating that it’s not just about the foods that you offer, it’s also about the ambiance of the place. The world can be tiring, a person needs his safe haven to rest his eyes and stretch his muscles to face another day ahead.

The Life of A Multimedia Star

Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano or better known as Toni Gonzaga was born on January 20 1984 in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. She is afilipino singer, television host and actress. Her parents are Carlito and Crisanta Gonzaga. 

 She has a younger sister, Catherine “Cathy” Gonzaga professionally known as Alex Gonzaga, is also an actress and television host.

At the age of four, she began to sing participatibg in various singing competition. In taytay, she was an elected barangay kagawad for one term and a sunday school teacher in taytay united methodist church. She studied mass communication at the Dominican College in San Juan for two years. Later, she transferred to the Asian Institute for Distance Education (AIDE) and shifted her major to AB English, which she wasn't able to finish due to her busy showbiz schedule. She also enrolled at the University of the Philippines Open University taking up her bachelor's degree in multimedia studies.Gonzaga is an active member of the United Methodist Church.

On February 1, 2015, Gonzaga announced her engagement to director Paul Soriano, her boyfriend of eight years, on The Buzz and married on June 12, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Taytay, Rizal. February 2016, a source announced that the couple was expecting their first child, due in late 2016 or early 2017.Gonzaga herself confirmed the announcement on ASAP on April 17, 2016. Gonzaga gave birth to their son, Severiano Elliott, on September 30, 2016. 

 Gonzaga started in local entertainment at the age of 13. It was in 1997 where she joined a singing competition called "Metropop Star Search", which was then aired on GMA.Two other Filipina singers, Kyla and Faith Cuneta, started their career on the singing competition television show.Gonzaga did not win the competition. Gonzaga's biggest break in the entertainment industry was her Sprite TV ad with Piolo Pascual in 2001. In the same year, she released her eponymous debut album under Prime Music and "Paano", a cover of Gary Valenciano's, was released as its carrier single. In 2002, she became one of the main hosts in the long-time afternoon variety show Eat Bulaga. She also sang "Doon", the theme song of TAPE, Inc.'s afternoon TV drama on GMA, "Ikaw Sa Puso Ko" which starred StarStruck finalist, Nadine Samonte and Oyo Sotto. In 2002, she was cast in the primetime television series Habang Kapiling Ka starring Angelika dela Cruz. In March 2004, she joined Studio 23's Wazzup Wazzup with Archie Alemania and Vhong Navarro. 

In January 2005, Gonzaga transferred to ABS-CBN,later becoming one of the main hosts of the Pinoy Big Brother series and the Sunday musical variety program ASAP. Same year, she starred as one of the main leads in her first comedy-horror film, D' Anothers in which Vhong Navarro was her love interest. In 2006, she released her second album and her first under Star Records entitled "Toni: You Complete Me" and starred in her first prime time drama series "Crazy For You" opposite Luis Manzano. Moreover, her movie You Are The One with Sam Milby was released the same year upon which she was awarded by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Foundation, Inc. (GMMSF) the following year for the said film. In 2007, Gonzaga released her third studio album Falling in Love and movie You Got Me!. In 2008, she had her first solo major concert at the Aliw Theater titled "Catch Me, Toni Gonzaga: First Major Concert" which had a repeat the same year. After the success of her first major concert, she released her fourth studio album entitled, "Love Is...". Later, she launched her fourth film, My Big Love, her third with Sam Milby. After the blockbuster team up of Gonzaga and Milby, she once again starred opposite Vhong Navarro in the film My Only Ü.

On January 7, 2013, Gonzaga entered the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs contest with the song entry called "Kahit Na", written by Jumbo “Bojam” De Belen. The contest featured songwriters who worked together with Filipino artists to create new OPM music. The song was simultaneously promoted by Star Records Inc. as it was chosen as one of the 12 Grand Finalists. The music video of the said song was produced by the University of the Philippines.She performed the song during the grand finals on February 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Overall, the song finished in fifth place as the Best P-pop Love Song, thus rewarding the writer of Gonzaga's song Php100,000 in cash.

In February 2013, Gonzaga confirmed that she was the main host of the singing reality show The Voice of the Philippines. As part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Star Cinema, Gonzaga starred with Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao, Angel Locsin and Enchong Dee in Cathy Garcia-Molina's Four Sisters and a Wedding.In June 2013, she hosted Kwentong Kusina, Kwentong Buhay, a cooking show which aired every Sunday morning for 10 episodes. On October 8, 2013, Gonzaga won "Best Female Emcee" at the 26th Aliw Awards.By the end of the year, she is set to host the 5th season of Pinoy Big Brother. Her latest movie (opposite Piolo Pascual), Starting Over Again, was an instant box office hit which premiered in the Philippines on February 12, 2014. She released her sixth studio album called, Celestine while Home Sweetie Home, a sitcom with John Lloyd Cruz, is already airing during Saturday night. Continuing her album promotion, she guested on Myx as a Celebrity MYX VJ for the month of July, and supported by a concert called Celestine Toni Gonzaga set on October 3, 2014 at Mall of Asia Arena. As well as a reality co-host with her real-life sister, Alex Gonzaga, entitled Team Gonzaga which exclusively view in ABS-CBN mobile. "This Love Is Like" and "Awit ni Ginny" have been released in MYX and YouTube. Star Cinema had produced a Coco Martin and Gonzaga movie entitled, You're My Boss. In April 2015, Gonzaga renewed her contract with ABS-CBN Corporation. She announced that she will reprise her role as the host of Pinoy Big Brother: 737, which premiered on June 20, 2015. Gonzaga and her husband, Paul Soriano, are known supporters of Bongbong Marcos, son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, and Rodrigo Duterte and his deadly deadly drug war.

Earlier of 2016, she was introduced as one of the HIMIGration officers (judges) of the original concept reality show of ABS-CBN, I Love OPM, together with Lani Misalucha and Martin Nievera, and hosted by Anne Curtis.

As of this time, Toni Gonzaga is living her life with her very own family. She got married to Paul Soriano--a movie and tv director and luckily gave birth to their one and only son, Severiano Elliott “Seve” Gonzaga-Soriano. She is still one of the rising stars in the entertainment industry. She also recently entered making video blogs or vlogs on Youtube and definitely her content are totally admired by the crowd because of her words of wisdom, advices and encouragements. She is truly a star.
