Hey! How are you? What do you think about the others? ( Petey, Charlie, Happy) are you friends with them?
Most expect me to hate them... since that's what are relationship is in the show... but honestly...? They're the only friends I have... I don't see them very often though... Petey's stuck in a warehouse... Charlie is underground... and Sammy is stuck in the sewers... I try to visit them sometimes, but I usually perfer to stay at the diner... It's quieter here... Happy visits sometimes, tells me what the others are up to... Most of the time, we just talk about ways to escape...

Five Nights at Freddy’s vs. Happy’s Humble Burger
The comparisons for the infamous Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise and the fairly new Happy’s Humble Burger franchise, are effortless to identify. First, what isn’t ironically easy to notice is how both games are categorized under the horror genre. Second, both companies feature a cast of animal characters to establish a child-target business identity. Finally, the most important similarity between these two games is how each of them are inspired by famous food incorporations. Due to this, both franchises will be contrasted to discover which is the best game.
Game Inspirations
Five Nights at Freddy’s was the first game series to be released. It features a business chain of pizza-oriented dinning and entertainment locations. These pizza places were inspired by the “Chuck E. Cheese” children’s entertainment centers. The second game series, Happy’s Humble Burger, features classic fast-food diners. These locations were inspired by the “McDonald’s” American fast-food chain.

All the Mascots
‘Freddy Fazbear’ is the bear animatronic mascot for Freddy Fazbear’s franchise. He was inspired by Chuck E. Cheese’s mascot, “Chuck E.” the mouse. Freddy is accompanied by ‘Chica’ the chicken, ‘Bonnie’ the bunny and ‘Foxy’ the fox. The game’s characters were inspired by Chuck E’s old companions: “Mr. Munch” the dinosaur, “Helen Henny” the chicken, “Jasper T. Jowls” the dog and “Pasqually” the pizza chef. Happy’s Humble Burger franchise’s mascot is ‘Happy the Humble Heifer’. She was inspired by McDonald’s mascot, “Ronald McDonald” the clown. Happy is accompanied by the suit mascots of the ‘Barnyard Buds’: ‘Petey the Portly Pig’, ‘Sammy the Surly Salmon’ and ‘Charlie the Chillin’ Chicken’, as well as ‘The Farmer’. The game’s characters were inspired by Ronald’s old companions: “Birdie the Early Bird”, “Hamburglar”, “Grimace” of an indeterminate species, the puppet colorful “Fry Kids” and the puppet “Happy Meal Gang”.

Entertainment
Chuck E. Cheese is a kid-friendly chain known for its arcade games, pizza parties and play zones. This is nearly exactly like the Freddy Fazbear’s franchise. McDonalds is known for its play areas and burgers, especially their big sandwich burgers. This is also exactly like the Happy’s Humble Burger franchise.
Tumblr media
Food Products
Unlike Freddy Fazbear’s, Happy’s Humble Burger has a menu. A variety of burgers, including large sandwiches, are featured. Breakfast, salads, beverages, fries and copyrighted “Happy Meals” are also available. This nearly copies McDonald’s menu with their “BigMac” burgers, salads, breakfast, fries and drinks. The only differences include ice cream instead of cake and chicken “McNuggets” instead of Salmon Nuggs. Freddy Fazbear’s only has pizza, sodas and cake. Meanwhile, Chuck E. Cheese has wings, appetizers, salads, beverages and desserts. However, ‘Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Plex’ in the “Security Breech” game adds pasta, ice cream, sides and salads to their food options.
Tumblr media
Scary Horror
Although it’s scary how both business’ food products are incredibly unhealthy, it’s highly unlikely either Chuck E. Cheese or McDonalds intends to scare children. However, Chuck E. Cheese’s early mascots were horrifying compared to modern remakes. This inspired Freddy Fazbear’s animatronics horrific appearances, but Chuck E. Cheese didn’t design their mascots to murder kids due to a serial killer which would ultimately haunt the franchise. McDonalds is arguably scary due to their seemingly pedophilic clown, but this is only how Ronald appears to some adults. Happy’s Humble Burger; however, becomes the center of mind-controlling brainwash to their employees and several missing children. The mascots even become contaminated with parasites which turn the once friendly suits into murderous monsters.

Where did you eat the most as a kid? Chuck E. Cheese or McDonalds? Which game do you like the most regardless of this? Please share with me!

Happy’s Humble Burger Farm Food Advertisements
In addition to this horror franchise having a complete menu, Happy’s Humble Burger also has food advertisements. It was a missed opportunity for the game creators and developers to not have all these pictures appear in the player’s apartment TV at some point. These images would have been a fun addition as a full in-universe commercial. Despite this, all the food advertisements will be presented.
Drinks & Beverages
Starting off with a basic, the first advertisement features the beverages offered at the fast-food industry. The red cup on the left is “a variety of soft drinks”, which all look like coke in the game. On the right is a seemingly odd grape flavored slushy. The purple colored drink is peculiar because the fast-food place only offers Strawberry Smoothies.
Tumblr media
Happy’s Deluxe Burger
The main mascot, Happy the Humble Heifer, is ironically advertising a type of sandwich named after herself. Yet, this sickening title isn’t only for attracting a customer to their favorite character. On the far left of the ad is a cow diagram cut into various meat sections. The burger contains the friendly cow’s kin and she’s vouching for the beefy “heavenly” taste. With the galaxy background, the advertisement is a bit too on the nose regarding how cows are becoming new members in heaven after sacrificing their lives for unhealthy slabs of meat.
Tumblr media
Other Sandwiches
This third ad presents the second main burger on the company’s menu. Charlie, the chillin’ chicken, is certainly laid-back about this advertisement. Perhaps, as a rooster, Charlie doesn’t mind throwing his fellow hens to the slaughter house if he’s allowed to live. In addition to this, there’s a third sandwich on the diner’s menu. However, an advertisement for this burger, the “Poppin’ Pork” Sandwich, was never created. If the franchise could animate the food slightly different from the previous burger to create the second sandwich, they can do this for the third burger too.
Tumblr media
The Sides
Aside from Petey the Portly Pig also supporting piglets being served between two buns, Salmon Nuggs are also on the list of food options. Sammy, the Surly Salmon, is true to his character by offering frozen battered fish fillets for others to eat. Although the sides have little to no flavor compared to the main object of the meal, kids are allowed to have fish sticks or fish fingers as their version of this food product along with French Fries.
Tumblr media
Desserts
If the game didn’t explain this in the employee manual, players wouldn’t know what the rectangular thing is on the right. It’s a pie, but an unknown flavored pie. The cookie on the left is chocolate chip, but it looks like an oatmeal raisin based on the specific way this advertisement is animated. In the game; however, the cookies are plain as if their sugar cookies without the icing.
Tumblr media
What do you think? Should the game developers designed an advertisement for their “Poppin’ Pork Sandwich”? What about the “Humble-Bars” possibly gaining their own advertisement too? If not, why? Please share with me!
