The Wang-Mishra Family
I answered an ask on this a while ago, but here it is again in more detail:
Yao and Harish got married just after Yao turned seventeen, since they’d been dating for years, they were young and immature, and they didn’t have such a great relationship with their families. They’re now in their mid-thirties. Between them they look after a lot of kids.
When he was twenty-two, when he was still undertaking his studies in Ancient Runes, he was put in charge of caring for his half-brother Pandara Rajapaksha who was just five years old at the time. Two years later, he and Yao were also put in charge of his cousin Kamala Thapa, who was then six-years-old.
A few years later, when Yao was twenty-five, they adopt Borey Kim whilst they’re on a holiday/work trip (Harish wanted to study the arithmancy techniques in South-East Asian magical cultures, since he wasn’t yet a Professor – he was pursuing the wizarding equivalent of a Masters, and since none of their kids were in school yet they just took an extended jaunt around Asia). Borey was five years old at the time. It was also during this holiday that they met and became close to My Cơ Vương after she helped them out when they had some trouble with their wizarding passports in Vietnam.
Harish earned his wizarding Masters (or something like that), and they returned to England when he was twenty-eight, but before they left Asia they adopted three more children – the twins Khamdara Saechao and Kasem Jingjit who were six at the time, and Jigme Lhaden, who was nine.
They pretty much figured that this would be it – by this point they had amassed six children, which seemed like a pretty good number. When they got back to England, their eldest, Pandara, was 11, and started his first year at Hogwarts. Yao got a job at St Mungo’s, whilst Harish got at first a job at a large library in London, and they moved into a flat in Camden, which – even with expansion spells put on it – was something of a squeeze. The kids switched between a kids day-care at the hospital, or going with Harish to the library so long as they were quiet.
By this point, Pandara was 11, Kamala was 10, Jigme Lhaden was 9, Borey was 7, whilst Khamdara and Kasem were 6.
Then, Yao is unexpectedly handed over custody of two of his cousins, Kha Lung Ho and Siu Chun Kwan, who’d been raised separately, and who were 6 and 4 respectively. Since it was either that or they went to an orphanage, Yao and Harish accepted even though it made their living arrangements even more cramped.
A family member arranged to drop them off in London, and to Harish and Yao’s shock, they got three kids instead of four, since another family member basically saw the opportunity to get rid of their child as well – Bi Seng Lim, who was five. Yao and Harish were surprised and a little annoyed that they hadn’t been forewarned, but took Bi Seng anyway, since her parents obviously weren’t suitable.
Since the old Arithmancy professor retired, Pandara convinced Harish to apply for the job, and he was accepted. The year after Yao got a job as an assistant mediwizard in the hospital wing, and they moved to their cottage.
By the time Pandara was a fourth year, Kamala and Jigme Lhaden were also in school, and despite having nine children, when a friend they’d met in Asia happened to mention that he knew of two children who were in desperate need of a home, they decided – after a big family discussion – to take them in, and when Pandara was 31 and Yao was 30, they adopted four-year-old Samir Mirza and one-year-old Ayesha Akhtar.
They also host both Yong Soo Im, Khulan Tsagaanbaatar, Tenzin and Soe during the summers, since they don’t really have any other place to go, and are often visited by My and her sister Lien who live in London, and Harish’s distant cousin Fatimah and her cousins, especially since Jenaida is a close friend of Borey and Yong Soo. Although he’s not particularly sociable, and has a slightly tense relationship with Yong Soo (and therefore Jenaida), Yao is also working on getting Kiku to stay the summer with them. Finally, although she lives in Dandong and doesn’t often visit the UK, Yong Mi Park also has an open invitation.

Bollywood comes in support of actress Shilpa Shetty. Several celebrities liked and commented on her social media post
Actress Shilpa Shetty released her first official statement related to the pornography case for which her husband Raj Kundra is being accused and is under judicial custody. In her social media post, the actress requested for privacy and also said that it is a very tough time for her family.
Shilpa is considered to be going through a lot and getting minimal support. Recently Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta called out the entertainment industry for remaining silent and no supporting their co-actors. Richa Chadha also showed her disappointment on the lack of support from the Bollywood fraternity. Even on the latest post from Shilpa, there were only a few comments from the celebrities but a considerable number of likes were seen.
Actors Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, Dia Mirza, Meezaan, Samir Soni, Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep, filmmaker Farah Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were few celebrities who liked the post.
Abhimanyu Dassani who was Shilpa’s co-star in Nikamma posted an emoji in the comment section whereas actress Gauhar Khan wrote ‘strength’. Shilpa’s sister Shamita Shetty wrote "I love you my Munki, and with you always. Through thick and thin... Always."
"We’ve made a national sport out of blaming women for the mistakes of the men in their lives. Glad she’s suing,” posted Richa as a reply on Hansal Mehta’s post. Hansal in his post wrote, "This silence is a pattern. In good times everybody parties together. In bad times there is deafening silence. There is isolation. No matter what the ultimate truth the damage is already done."

Pinnacle Fame Awards 2018 organised on December 8, 2018 at Radisson, Goregaon, Mumbai.
It was an evening to remember for each and every attendee and guest. Pinnacle Fame Awards 2018 PIFA is now a name on everybody’s lips. This entrepreneur excellence awards was organised by global mother’s network Maa2Mom in association with India’s first hyper-local online portal Goregaon Highway Pulse. PIFA was organised to recognise and honour diverse startups, solo-preneurs and entrepreneurs who are doing exemplary work across various categories. From arts to wellness, from education to publishing, PIFA had over 400 nominations by men and women entrepreneurs from Dubai to Haryana to Nasik and, of course, Mumbai.
“PIFA’s most distinguishing aspect is that it is real awards by real people”, said Jyoti Agarwal, Founder, Maa2Mom and the main organiser of PIFA. “Through PIFA we will support and encourage every entrepreneur to excel and realise their dreams and ambitions”, she added. PIFA awards involved completely transparent judgement based on merit and nothing else. No fees were charged for nomination or registry.
PIFA had an independent jury of distinguished names:

“Success is not based on gender or simply whether you are a man or a woman. It is based on hard work. At PIFA, we choose to recognise the hard work of men and women and applaud them for that”, stated Anushree Chatterjee, Founder, Goregaon Highway Pulse, associate organiser of PIFA.
PIFA 2018 was studded with celebrated personalities. From TV stars like Supriya Raina Shukla, Shruti Seth, Chandan Anand, Vartika Chauhan and Amrit Kashyap to Bollywood singer, Pamela Jain and to celebrity Chef Harpal Singh (Namak Shamak fame), they were all part of PIFA 2018! Each one was praising the beautifully organised event and was pleased with the awards conducted.
A special mention must be made of our PIFA Performances! Master storyteller, Mehak Mirza Prabhu; young poet Ravi Chand Punia, singer Pamela Jain, Nidhi Moudgil and Soumitra Dev Burman dazzled the stage with their acts. Dancers like Ritu Manek and Madhumita Chakraborty left the audience spellbound with their classical dance acts that included young children as well. Sneh Kala Kendra’s featuring oldies left everyone spellbound!
PIFA 2018 also had a very special focus on social causes. The PIFA stage was used to promote and spread awareness about key issues like Mental Health, Save Aarey and Forced Sex Trade. For this, PIFA had associated with foundations like Rescue Foundation, Bipolar India and #Imwarrior to support their initiatives.
Through a specially curated ramp walk, that featured adults and kids, PIFA brought to the fore the real stories of mental health victims, of the threatened forest lands in Mumbai and the humanitarian cause of saving victims of forced commercial sex. This received great appreciation from the PIFA audience.
