Chapter 2 - The Beginning of the Winchesters

Me and Thomas had found a few cases that were a lot alike on November 2, 1983. Causing us to go investigate one of them, so we headed to the Winchester Family. 

The Mother had died in the nursery due to a house fire… At least that is what the cops say.

Families of the other cases have said that they saw the mothers being pinned to the ceiling and getting burned alive. That's also what John, the father, has been saying. He’s also been awfully determined to find out what this thing was that did it. 

We gained his trust, comforting him somewhat about his wife's death.

“Good evening, John. I am so sorry for bothering you probably around your dinner time, but I thought I could help you get the kids settled or help you with anything.” I smile at John, slightly rambling. Thomas puts a hand on my shoulder to calm me, I take a “breath”. 

“I’d appreciate the help, especially when Sammy used to be comforted by my wife more than me.” John sighs, welcoming us in. 

I go in first, seeing a young Dean holding his baby brother on the couch. I smile softly as I walk up to dean. “May I hold your baby brother, I miss the baby smell.” I ask, chuckling softly.

Dean seems weary about letting me hold Sam, but I keep a comforting smile on my face. He finally lets me hold the baby after a few moments, I rock the baby and smell its head. The smell of a baby always makes me thirsty, but my motherly urge always overtakes that need. 

“I wish I could have one of these little monsters…” I mumble softly, pinching that baby’s cheeks. 

John raises a brow, “You’re still young, you can always have one if you find the right man.”

“Y/n might still be young, but she has a slight chance of getting pregnant. We learned that her fertility is awfully low…” Thomas quickly states, I look at him with a sad look on my face. He quickly looks away from me, looking down at his shoes. 

“I’m sorry, Y/n. I didn’t know…” John mutters, rubbing my back gently.  

“It's fine, I’ve come to terms with my chances… We need to talk to you about something else though, I recommend you take a seat though.” 

And soon enough we tell him that something killed his wife, what we think was a demon. That ghosts and other monsters exist. Like us, Vampires. 

Soon enough he believes us, especially after we show him a couple of our abilities. We introduced him to hunting, giving him a journal that could help him with his discoveries of the “new” world. We also help him hunt for a while, mostly turning me into the babysitter. Though I didn’t mind. 

John started going too far, so we told that now he was fully trained that we will split ways from him and that he can call us when he needs help. 

We wouldn’t hear from him for a while.
