#185: Black Sabbath
Boris Karloff hosts this horror movie split in three parts. The first chapter is a giallo thriller called The Telephone where our main character begins to receive creepy calls just as news that someone from her past has escaped from prison. The second chapter is The Wurdulak where Boris Karloff plays the head of a family who has become possessed by a vampire-like entity. He slowly kills everyone in his family one at a time and it's fairly creepy. Finally, the third chapter titled The Drop of Water is most people's favorite and it does stand out among the rest. It's legitimately chilling. A caretaker is haunted by what may be the creepiest corpse in the history of cinema after taking a piece of jewelry from her dead body. The whole thing wraps up with Karloff joking that it's only a movie.
