True to its title, the first part was always envisioned as part one of a larger story. The makers confirmed the sequel's title even before the first film's release: Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam. Set in the dangerous city of Khansaar, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire explored themes of friendship amidst a backdrop of violence. The sequel will also provide a clearer picture of the political landscape and character dynamics, with a focus on confrontations and action sequences.

The film has been made with the sincere efforts and passion of thousands of people who worked in several departments of sets, craft, and action to bring this larger-than-life cinematic experience to the audiences. Sharing the grand making of the film, the makers unveiled a video that gives an insight into the making of this world of Khansaar. Speaking of Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire, it features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Made under the direction of Prashanth Neel, the film was produced by Vijay Kiragandur and it released in cinemas on December 21 in multiple languages including Hindi. Post Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, the stage is set for a sequel too and the film is titled Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam.
