Hey I have a question what is Yuta Furukawa's favourite song from 'Elisabeth'?
Dear Anon,
Furukawa loves all songs from ‘Elisabeth’, but his absolute favourite is ‘Der Letzte Tanz /Saigou no Dance/The Last Dance’.
Furukawa explained his love for this song in two separate interviews as follows:
Furukawa: “When speaking of Der Tod’s songs [the first that comes to mind] is ‘The Last Dance’, it is a song I love to the point of being able to call it one of the reasons I admire Der Tod. I also love the scene at the mad house, the message in the song just strikes you like lightning.”
[Source]
ーーWhat do you think of Der Tod when it comes to the musical aspect of him?
Furukawa: “After all, the two solos (’The Rondo of Love and Death’ and ‘The Last Dance’) he has are his essence. The music by Mr. Levay are mostly ones that “sweep away” as one sings. For example, up and including ‘The Last Dance’, gentle songs had set the mood, but then suddenly the rock starts, and both Der Tod and the musical itself transform themselves. I myself also feel easily dragged along [by that song].
In “The Darkness is Growing” I will play the opposite role, but I believe I understand Rudolf’s feelings very well, so part of me thinks I will be able to pull that one off.”

A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 24
MY 8 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 24 (manga chaps 38 and 39):
The lovely ladies of Kamakko Club make their debut, along with Paako and Zurako!
1) Zurako putting a full 100% into her dancing.
2) THEYSOPRETTYYYY!
3) I love these ladies!
4) Poor Paako’s balls.
5) OMFGGGGGG! She’s even cuter in technicolor!
6) Zurako’s reaction to Pochi. I actually felt bad for Pochi. It’s not his fault these people trespassed into his playground, if food decides to deliver themselves to his doorstep, was he supposed to say no to it? Poor thing was just living his nature.
7) They have such a sweet father/son relationship. Teruhiko is such a good boy.
8) I always tear up a little here. In the manga, he referred to the ladies as “mosquitoes”. I think “moths” is much better.
SHIPS TALLY:
Paako x Zurako: I could watch a whole series on just the two of them and their adventures together.
Saigou x Gintoki or Zurako or both??: in the manga it looked like Saigou was just talking to Gin-chan but then in the ep, I think he could be offering the special to either or both of them. Even though Saigou is not my type, I’m all for any of those possibilities.
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just completely unbelievably amazing. It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s immense generosity that I am able enjoy Gintama on an extra another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

It upsets me greatly sometimes that all the people in Rock’s life straight up failed him and it’s no wonder he’s turned out so nasty and desperate for love. :( I want Sapphire to teach him that he doesn’t need to be extraordinary or perfect to be noticed. Let him laugh like the child he never got to be, introduce him to other healthier connections like what he has with him, Saigou, and BJ, LET THIS BOY RECOVER. Sapphire kissing Rock until he falls asleep peacefully. Them slow dancing to cute old timey music, drunken and silly. Complimenting each other and BOTH being confident in themselves because dammit they look so good together in fancy dresses.
