A man in tattered robes, feathers long since worn from his headdress, streaked through the shifting plasmic haze on golden wings, urged on by the tiny starburst at his side. His eyes were furious flame.

It's about the way it's described? Osiris is described as being in shambles, physically and emotionally (being angry) which seems like it's supposed to symbolise an Echo that spent so long in there, trying to brute force it all, and failing for thousands and thousands of attempts and like. Man.

In a modern AU Sagira and Geppetto would be Saint and Osiris' lesbian pet birds that fall in love causing Saint and Osiris to have to have meet ups on behalf of their birds (and definitely not because Osiris thinks Saint's eyes are the most fascinating shade looking almost violet in the light or that Saint thinks Osiris looks adorable when he gets grumpy)

I’ve noticed something with Destiny Ghosts… They always have the perfect personality for their Guardian.

Sagira was very cocky and was never afraid to speak her mind while also being very smart, which is the perfect way to be when you’re paired with an arrogant and selfish person like Osiris because she challenges him and makes him stay somewhat humble.

Targe is very quiet and reserved, just the way he’d need to be for someone like Zavala, who has to be alone and in the quiet to think and relax a little so he doesn’t collapse under the pressure of leadership

Glint is very caring, nurturing, and well-behaved. He’s a great guide and pretty much the Ghost version of a therapy dog, exactly what Crow would need due to how people were bound to treat him and all the trauma and overall sadness he’d endure. His Ghost was the only reason he kept going in his early life.

And Ghost? He’s really talkative, supportive, faithful, and generally a very helpful kind of Ghost. Wouldn’t you want that in your Ghost if you almost never talked and were constantly facing the worst of the worst The Witness has to offer while walking the line between Light and Dark?

I wonder if The Traveler created the Ghosts specifically tailored for people that would become Guardians or if Ghosts simply had their personalities from the get-go and where then tasked with finding their match, with The Traveler not knowing who would get chosen…

In any case, Ghosts are the real MVPs of Destiny

I swore I would do something for Inktober and Destinytober so I busted out my India inks and painted an Osiris Tarot Card.

The Hermit stands alone on the top of a Lighthouse. The Lighthouse symbolizes his spiritual mastery, growth, and accomplishment. He has chosen this path of self-discovery and, as a result, has reached a heightened state of awareness.

In his right hand, he holds a lantern with a pointed star inside, his ghost Sagira, a symbol of wisdom. As The Hermit walks his path, the lamp lights his way – but it only illuminates his next few steps rather than the full journey. He must step forward to see where to go next, knowing that not everything will be revealed at once. In his left hand, the side of the subconscious mind, The Hermit holds a solar blade (a sign of his power and authority), which he uses to guide and balance him.

UPRIGHT: Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance

REVERSED: Isolation, loneliness, withdrawal
