To make your search simpler, we’ve compiled the best neighborhoods in Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and San Antonio that have consistently ranked in various publications as the “safest” neighborhoods. Austin Allandale The Austin Allandale neighborhood, bordered by Anderson Lane, Shoal Creek, Burnet Rd, and Mopac, is estimated to have a crime index 60% lower than the Austin average and has been measured to be safer than over 80% of Austin neighborhoods.
