Summary:

The Brave Police starts to grow in its ranks as the Build team joins the fray! However, without sentient AIs of their own, Deckerd and Yuuta don’t know what to make of them. Will our heroes be able to work with their new additions? Let’s hope so, because something lurks in the dump and it’s going to cause quite the surge…

Duke was the one to find them. He was sent to investigate a strange occurrence. He was unsure how to report that he found a baby. A big metal baby. Bigger than Yuuta at least. 

Deckerd confirms his suspicions that they were indeed a big robot baby. Where they came from or how they were going to care for them unknown. Drillboy begged to hold them after Duke. Deckerd and Yuuta slip away to inform Saejima of the recent events.

McCrane asks if this makes them foster family or parents as Power Joe tries to hold the presumably sleeping baby without luck, with Drillboy hogging them. Duke says it depends on if they’ll be allowed to care for them. 

Saejima, Deckerd and Yuuta informed the others that they’ll be taking care of the baby as there really isn’t a better place for them. Duke gets a hold of Regina to come and examine them. 

Everyone is confused when there’s nothing that indicates the creator nor that they were even made. Just existing. Yuuta is the first to connect that they might not be robot in the sense as the Brave Police. 

Shadowmaru is the main caregiver. Often to get them to sleep he’ll pace in his dog altmode with them on his back. Gunmax offered to drive them around on his motorbike but that was quickly shot down.

Dear J-Asker,

On one occasion, Galvatron attempted to flee arrest by the Autobots through an augmented transwarp gate, escaping to a parallel world. Optimus Prime rallied the Dimensional Patrol alongside Koji and pursued, arriving in Nanamagari City. The group split up to search for Galvatron and his forces, which quickly went awry as Side Burn sped off to check out that universe’s red sports cars. It was here that he was stopped by the police robot Deckerd, who was shocked when a second living police robot, Prowl, arrived to pick up his brother. All parties baffled by the revelation of a completely different set of robot life-forms working for the Japanese civil service, the Autobots convened at the Brave Police headquarters in order to explain the situation. Though surprised by this tale of alien robots, Commissioner Juuzo Saejima committed to helping the “super cool” Autobots take down Galvatron. 

The two robot units spent some time together to train while Saejima and T-AI pooled their resources to track down Galvatron. The Autobot Car Brothers marvelled at Gunmax’s Gun Bike and Shadow-Maru’s six-changing abilities, while the two Build Teams sparred after Wedge teased the similarly youthful Drill Boy over their discrepancy in rank. Of course, Koji and Yuuta, Deckerd’s young friend and boss, became fast friends. All was not well, however, as the callous Ultra Magnus made a snide remark regarding the Super AI of the Brave Police, muttering to a furious Optimus that as they lacked sparks, they were not truly alive. Upon hearing this, Deckerd had a crisis of faith, wondering if he was truly alive, leaving him without the confidence to fight or form Fire J-Decker with Duke.

Galvatron chose that moment to resurface, having used Predacon super-science to construct a drone army of the Chieftain robots who had once menaced the Brave Police. Though the combined Brave Dimensional Patrol unit fought valiantly, the army’s sheer numbers left them overwhelmed, not helped by Deckerd’s diminished fighting spirit. It was then that Optimus Prime, angry with his brother, merged with Magnus into Omega Prime, who peered into Magnus’ heart and revealed that he had been envious of the Police for their strength and teamwork. Realising that he shouldn’t let the comments of one rude ‘bot get him down, Deckerd merged with Duke to form Fire J-Decker, and the two combiners defeated both Galvatron and the Chieftain army with their combined Fire Matrix Blade attack. 

With Galvatron in chains, the two teams bade farewell with a warm handshake between Optimus and Deckerd. Though neither team would see the other again, they would keep their passion for justice alive in their home universes.

Okay lets dive a little in Wolf's Arrow Inc.

~ The background of Aconite's past before her breakthrough as a mechanical power is unknown to many people. Yes, the ego is starting to outpace her skills before things are heating up. Still, it was clear it made her a vain, ambitiously nasty woman with talent that could get away with most things with her sharp tongue and beauty if she knew it'd work for her and when her patients weren't eroded enough for the day.

~ Founded by Wolf Bitch (Aconite Evermore), Wolf's Arrow is a small robotics company that focuses on intelligent machinery, though rarely an original idea but higher quality for the public to use. In total, the company has 20 members, including the Wolf Bitch herself. The company might be small, but it has high remarks for its clean, high-quality products, despite the shady behind-the-scenes. Still, the success inflated the founder and head scientist are already big egos. The rumors of the place being an HR nightmare due to her perfectionism and the now like-minded/ doing this shit for paycheck workers weed out any new employees. And the high costs of Aconite suddenly discontinue any model work if it does fail the second test run or, worst-case scenario, a product that's almost ready to be sold to be abruptly canceled.

~ Remember that her place making high-end tech more available to the public? Yeah, there's some shadiness on how Aconite manages that. She mostly lightly steals sensitive material, bribery/sweet talking. And the worse thing, and sadly the second option for her, is to blackmail and extort inexperienced gifted mechanics and tech works that the rest of the community has shunned out. They do not have the protection as everyone else in the field, so she forces them to "help" her with break though and then promptly dumps them out when she feels they're not valid anymore. She is super secretive about the part no one knows. If she wants something-- she will find ways to get what she wants. 

~ Now, when the first news of the first-ever Super A.I. came to existence, Deckard, a machine that was so human, Wolf Bitch wanted to recreate that for her means. But Saejima Juuzo made it very, scarily clear that Deckard and the rest of the Brave Police are not for sale and to be probed. Wolf Bitch was not happy. She was usually used to having everything given to her, and if she tried to steal something that the government would highly guard-- she'd be caught. So the next best option came to her, build her own. And we all know that the rest of the story-- the creation of Alpha 1 Prototype GW Unit 119 (Defunct, deactivated, and Destroyed.) and Beta Alpha Prototype GW unit 120 out of sheer spite.

You, Duke, and heavy petting

Like the title says, you tease the poor, repressed mech to a mess.

I absolutely adhere that Juuzo “Super Extra” Saejima commissioned for human-sized robots for the Braves to upload when under extensive repairs and for more positive public relations.

An unfortunate series of events, during Yuuta’s cultural festival at school, had led to half of the Braves dealing with various levels of tar-like sludge on their human-sized forms. While Power Joe, Drill Boy, and Deckerd were able to transfer their AIs back into their original frames, Duke’s body was absolutely coated to the point that the technicians couldn’t retrieve his AI. 

Which led up to his current predicament: 

Duke grits his teeth, refusing to let any noise escape as you continue to work on spreading the nanite-rich gel to get rid of the sludge over his bust as the substance turned into slurry under the shower. The nanites did fine work in removing the viscous material gumming his seams and joints by activating through water and pressure because why not?!

His back, neck, and shoulders have been liberated and you’re now working on his bust. While he can appreciate your hard work, you’ve been focusing on his bust for quite some time. Logically he understands that this takes time, but without the combat-protocols running his bust is… sensitive.

You rub firm circles around his headlights and sweep over the windshield for another application of gel. The shower’s warm and the green gel is strangely cool, it slowly eases down his frame to the sludge and you continue to guide it and rub out the caked areas until it’s free of black slurry. You’re clad in a swim-suit and pressed against his back and propriety be damned he can feel everything!

He grips the bench tighter, frame growing stiffer, as heat suffuses his circuitry and tries to ground his charge. He’s not a deviant like some of the other Braves. The Knight Detective has strict control of his frame. Thank you very much. 

“Hey,” you say, blithely tearing through his internal struggles, “you gotta relax. It’s not good to be this pent up all the time.

Whatever clipped retort he had just withers into a choke when he feels a warm tongue running over the underside his left audial. Christ, there was no way to misinterpret that. You had pushed up using the windshield as leverage and he feels your soft flesh sliding up his back and he hisses, charge racketing up. Your teeth then graze softly over the tapered end of his audial as you dig into a seam with fresh gel and it sends an intense electric heat down his spine and into his panel, which utterly betrays him when it clicks open. His valve is hidden by the fact you’re right behind him but his spike eagerly juts out. Standing at attention.

It couldn’t get any worse but then your cell rings, blaring out from the outside, “Hey, mister policeman; I don’t want no trouble; I just wanna drop my jiggelin' down to the floor.”

“Don’t worry,” you say nonchalantly and no shame. None at all. “That ringtone’s for personal calls. Not for work.”

“You’re-” his voice hitches, thick with static, “-incorrigible.” 

“I know.” And without missing a beat, gelled hands run down to cup his bust, “I gotta start on your undercarriage.”

You then swallow his left audial as much as possible and start rubbing his undercarriage.

“Fuck!”

Brave police j decker character review!! (1/5)

Alright you guys! Lets get to reviewing the BEST part of this show. The characters!(note, i will not include all villians, despite them meeting my criteria. Too many goddamn people, that honestly? We won't remember. Humans first, bots second, and any other creature last. Bots will have their alt modes.)

Humans!!;

Yuta Tomonaga!!;

Yuuta!! The boss of the brave police! While young,(about 9-10) Yuuta has more passion in his pinky finger than any of the adults on the show. Loving, caring, and determined, Yuuta has proven time and time again that hes a worthy leader, and an incredible friend. He's faced more than most kids his age should've honestly, and the nightmares and trauma needs to stop for him. He just needs ONE goddamn day with him hanging out with his friends and family, with plenty of good food.

Verdict:10/10. Hes adorable, and i wanna hug him and give him a golden sticker. Take him home, feed him and Deckerd.

Juuzo Saejima!!;

He. Is the most EXTRA bitch ever. Seriously, he's essentially a 12 year old in a 44 year old body. Constant upgrades for the team, constant new names and abilities. Hes an oddball, but despite this immaturity, he's a GOOD person. He listens to Yuuta and his opinions, and treats him as an adult, and treats the bots as humans. He deserves all he has, and honestly? Underrated character.

Verdict:9/10. Wish we had more background on him, but overall a character that i enjoyed seeing on the show. Take him home, be prepared for him to be SUPER extra.

Shunsuke Toudou!!;

SUCH. A surprising character. He made his one and only grand appearance in one episode, and i surprisingly??? Fell for the guy. He cares about the bots, and cars. He puts in effort, probably more than his entire team would. Even as a mechanic, this guy does more than his fair share of work fixing up the bots, physically mostly, but we've seen him do so emotionally as well.

Verdict:10/10. Hes the father we all need??? He GETS people. He knows what you're gonna say before you're even gonna say it, and buys you feel good snacks, and drives you around a few times while you talk to him. You've heard of mama bear, well this is papa bear. 10/10, take him home, talk to him about cars.

Seina Onoue!!;

(First of all. Yes I've been getting her name wrong this entire time. Im still putting her as 'Seina' and not 'Seia' for tag reasons)

My girl Seina! Gorgeous, headstrong, and and underestimated, sweet gal. Military lady, she's quite firm handed, but thanks to her boyfriend, McCrane, she's learned more about being human and embracing life. For someone who specializes in Japan's offensive branch, she's surprisingly shy and self conscious. Its sweet, in a way.

Verdict:9/10. She's a sweetie! She cares, an fights for whats right. Plus, she's a total historical figure, being one of the first few women who smooched a bot! She demands respect, and damn does she have it.

Ayako Kimizuka!!;

Our fellow reporter lady! (And Seina's best friend)She's the person who sinks her head deep into the news sand, fully commiting herself to her reporting. She dives in headfirst so strongly and quickly, the rest of the world melts away. A bit abrasive, but i grew to like her, and I've approved her to date my boy, Dumpson.

Verdict:9/10. Shes cute, flighty, and honestly cares about Dumpson! She teases him often, and i appreciate it. Plus...she's kinda gorgeous, honestly.

Regina Argine!!;

Me and her got off on the wrong foot. She treated bots, her own Duke included, as mere tools, to be molded perfectly into whatever was requested of them. However, upon almost losing Duke and meeting Yuuta, she learned. She had basically mentally abused Duke, and she can't un do. She can however, grow and try to make amends. She is now highly favored amongst the team, and no longer has this strong sense of entitlement. Most importantly, her past is no longer hurting her. And she's had such an impressive change, honestly. Duke cares about her immensely, and now? I do too.

Verdict:9/10. She's adorable, and now i absolutely adore her whenever i see her. She's just a delight to have around, honestly.

Azuki Tomonaga!!;

Yuuta's older sister!(who i just learned is 16) despite being the eldest, she doesn't behave as though she has the authority. Timid, a bit flighty, and incredibly sweet, Azuki is honestly just a cinnamon roll. I adores her the second i saw her, and i want whats best for her. She's essentially considered Shadowmaru's best friend (though my boy wanted to go to the pound, we all know what i mean), and although doesn't get many opportunities, shes a surprising emotional support, and a wonderful caretaker.

Verdict:9/10. An absolute bun! She'd absolutely make a nice, cinnamon cake for her neighbors, just because. Take her home, she'd just absolutely love to cook for you and your folks.

Kurumi Tomonaga!!;

The second eldest of the Tomonaga family! Shes adorable, albiet a bit abrasive and gossipy. Towards the end, she was considered friends of Shadowmaru, along with her sister, but honestly? She...kinda doesn't do much in this series. We wouldn't lose much having her leave, but i liked her personality, and shes pretty relatable.

Verdict:7/10. She...didn't really do anything in the series, plot wise. She was more of an extra. She worked, but really, she wasn't that important of a character.

Eva Farhzeug!!;

I know i said i wasn't going to include every villian. But i AM including her, mainly because i like the whole 'some other force was in control of shit getting messed up, and is now controlling everyone in a giant ass ship, and is a mixture of hot and creepy ' trope. I found her interesting, and honestly? Led to an ending that i didn't expect. She had a good villian motivation, was visually appealing, and had quite the surprising tie to the plot. I mean, the mother of all robotics??? No way you could've seen that coming in the first watch.

Verdict:8/10. She was good plot wise, but not an overwhelming character. I just wanted to point out that i liked the role she played. Don't take her home. Bitch is NUTS.

Emily, Kikjmaro, and Masaki!!(right to left;

These three are essentially labeled as Yuuta'd and Power joe's best friends. Id give them their own spots, but honestly? They're almost always together anyway. Emily is essentially kinda spoiled and whiney, and honestly? An itty bitty bitch. But shes cute, and she cares. Sometimes. Kikjamaro is the smart guy, basically, acting as the more level headed and reasonable of the group. Masaki is the dumbass. He's got anger issues, and is prone to being pretty fucking annoying. This group by themselves are honestly useless. But i fucking LOVE them when they're with Power joe. They think hes the shit, and hes DAMN right.

Verdict:7/10. This is PURELY because we have one thing in common. They love Power joe. Unless Power joe is with them, id kick them out tbh.

(Basically spoilers for some of brave police but not really besides episode 24 which is just a recap ep and then might gaine are involved but no ones gonna watch it anyway so disregard it)

SO BASICALLY I HAVE REASONS TO BELIEVE SAEJIMA AND TOUDOU ARE ACTUALLY FROM THE MIGHT GAINE UNIVERSE AND HERE'S WHY;

Essentially there's this photo that floats around in the 24th episode, where basically the episode is about Saejima and his home-life sort of. Its a whole clipshow, I know, but let's take a look at one of the photos he has hanging up on the wall.

Nice photo, huh? WELL ACTUALLY THIS IS PROBABLY ME THINKING WAY TOO DEEPLY INTO A REFERENCE ACTUALLY SOMETHING FOUND IN THE MIGHT GAINE UNIVERSE

LOOK FAMILIAR??? IT SHOULD. OF COURSE ITS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT BUT NONETHELESS ITS PRETTY DARN UNCANNY.

NOW I'm pretty sure you're like 'Well Silky, what does this have to do with anything??' WELL HERES YOUR ANSWER. In Might Gaine, the ending reveals that Might Gaine isn't an actual like universe its all fake. Like, literally its a TV show in our real world but to them it's reality. If somehow Toudou and Saejima escaped the universe (which escape from the TV show universe isn't impossible; Brave Saga 1 and 2 clearly show this is possible) and ended up in the Brave Police's universe aka our own.

This could also explain how they were able to develop technology pretty fast, even though we know Mother or w/e her name was developed the AI chips. Nonetheless looking further into it he has robot maids named God Bomber and Ultra Diver (which is probably still looking deep into it but what fuckin ever) which are both sub names of two teams in the Might Gaine (Bombers and Divers). He possibly could've been influenced by Might and his robot team which drew him to creating robots of his own and with Toudou's help too.

This ALSO explains why Asuka seems so realistic compared to Saejima and Toudou too. They were basically born in a TV Show land where in it a lot of things were exaggerated and silly. They were literally CREATED that way.

Again this is PURE speculation and notices between the two series so yknow

A Chance to Move On

Rating: PG Summary:  Deckerd has spent years being the only one left on the Brave Police after they all woke up from their six month coma.  It's now time he did something else with his life. Warnings:  This is an AU based off of the events of Episode 40 becoming true and actually happening.  Which means no Hyjuss or alien invasions, and Neuva never got a chance to revive his precious mumsie...yet.  Also not beta'd. Disclaimer: I don't own these guys.  Not at all.  Sunrise does. 

Even with their company his A.I still led him to depressing thoughts.  Especially when he was alone in the Decker Room shuffling reports and waiting for the phone to ring…like always.

He picked up a pen, intending to get some work done, when the door opened and the lights brightened.  “Deckerd, we have an important guest here to visit you,” Saejima said.  Behind him stood a tall man with a slightly broader build than Saejima, his blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail and hair slicked back.  Deckerd stood and saluted, something that took him a few seconds to remember to do because it had been so long since he was in Saejima’s presence.

“Sir!”

“He’s as polite as you said, Commissioner,” the man seemed to beam.  “I also know he’ll be a wonderful addition.”

“A-addition?” Deckerd was flummoxed.

“Now, now, he’s a person just like us, Taiga.”

“Ah, yes!  I just get excited about these things…ahem, Deckerd, I am Commander Taiga of the Gutsy Geoid Guard,” the man, Taiga, said.  Deckerd had heard of them.  The organization founded to protect the world from alien attack. 

“A pleasure to meet you, Commander Taiga…Commissioner, may I ask what this is about?” Deckerd cast confused optics onto his superior.  Saejima gave a sad smile…oh, no, the last time he looked like that the Brave Police had “disbanded.”

“Deckerd, you’ve been sitting here by yourself for so long, nothing to do,” Saejima started, “we needed to do something.  The Brave Police are no more, yes, but here you are.  That…that takes dedication, dedication that earned you a place somewhere far greater than this office.”

“Sir, I have dedicated my life to the Brave Police! I—“

“We are offering you a place in Three G,” Taiga cut him off.  “You are a legend, and we are eager to add you to our ranks.  Now, I know you won’t accept right this instant but please, hear me out.”

“…alright.”

Taiga talked to him.  Told him of the Zonders, of their fight, and of the recently reconstructed Guy Shishio who would need help to train with Galeon.  How Deckerd would help even when he wasn’t training the Cyborg and Dr. Shishio would study his AI.  The computer used for his AI was top notch, but they felt like it could be enhanced, to take the data and build their own.  Deckerd was fascinated but…

“No…I couldn’t,” he said.  “My place is here, and I can’t leave Yuuta.”

“Deckerd…go,” Yuuta’s voice was new and Deckerd looked up.  The boy—not boy, Deckerd had to remind himself.  He was almost in high school which meant Deckerd had been sitting here in this same office for how many years?  Too long…too long…

“B-Boss,” but Yuuta shook his head.

“I’m not your Boss anymore, Deckerd, and keeping you here is detrimental.  Go…I don’t mind.”

“Yuuta…”

It was all too sudden, all too planned, but with the hopeful look in Taiga’s eyes, Saejima and Yuuta’s supporting smiles, there would be a time to change now.  Shadowmaru made it big in movies, the Build Team were successful where they were, and Duke and Gunmax were keeping peace overseas.  Here was his chance to finally move on.

“You will still be able to help people in Three G,” Taiga said.  “Think on it.”

“No need…I accept.”

A few months later, Guy Shishio found himself looking up at a blue robot with the emblem of the old Brave Police, orange optics warm and a smile on his face.  “Hello, my name is Deckerd, of the Brave Police,” a laugh, “or, was of the Brave Police.  Commander Taiga hired me to help you get acquainted with working together with Galeon and fighting in a civilian area…a pleasure to meet you.”

“Ah, Guy Shishio!  A pleasure to meet you, too!”

Headcanon: Saejima Juuzo (Brave Police J-Decker)

Although it isn't his fault, Saejima is still feeling ashamed that he used to treat Deckerd like an object before he revealed himself to be sapient. The worst for Juuzo is the memory of discussing with Toudou in front of Deckerd how they would wipe his A.I. from any 'stray data' that had accumulated.

He was bullyied as a child for liking robots, robots and shoujou anime and manga (the Japanese "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down").

He may underwent one or several attempts to adapt and fit in better that spanned a year the longest, before he finally got fed up and decided to be confident in himself and his traits. Soon after that point, nobody dared to bully him anymore and those who still tried either found themselves deflected or ignored some way. Those who still didn't back off or tried to attack him learnt to fear Juuzo for his terrifying expression and sharp fist-catching reflexes. (He liked to dress sharp already and didn't want to rumple his clothes by using any self-defenses move.)

1) That house he lives in belongs to his family. Or 2) he bought/had it built from his salary.

His parents disowned him when he made it clear he would stick to his decision to become part of the police forces instead of going into the business world.

Juuzo and Shunsuke (Toudou) became friends over their shared interests in robotics and robots - and because Juuzo was always an attentive and excited listener when Shunsuke started to explain blueprints or rambled about his next project.

The last person who cannot rise from the mat more than 10 seconds loses." Rai explained. The other Braves and Yuuta had gathered to watch the upcoming battle. They were not the only ones curious and anticipating the match. Commissioner Juuzo Saejima, Chief Engineer Shunsuke Toudou were watching the two females prepare from a glass screen on the wall above of the training hall. Even snobby Vice Commissioner Kazuto Azuma was present. He scoffed that the little explosive brat would be squished into a pancake by the gothic femme bot. The two other men merely shook their heads at the Vice Commissioner's opinion. They both had a good reason to see the fight...

The morning was early to Ghostwire. Even when the facility was pitch dark, her processor was buzzing. Today is the last day, how is she going to tell her only friend this? The larger being couldn’t just escape, that’s much too impossible.

She bit her lower lip under the mask, as she could not dare to move her hands into a fist. Lest she get herself into a panic attack of her creator doing anything improper, again.

The metal being had to be stay still, just till she can hear the soft voice saying, “I’m here.” She wants to hear it one more time.
