do you think svs dazai will be a lil disappointed in tbft and gemzai for their relationship decisions? (imagine those two teaming up to scare the shit outta him though, theyre literally the same person as him except one is more fucked in the head and is a murderer doctor who has issues and the other is also fucked in the head BUT is a sentient rock covered in powder who is also creepy)

Hmmm well, SVS Dazai has done the terrible things in his past and is essentially living with them day to day. He has that riding on him from years of trauma, and even tho he does think of questionable things (ie obsessing over Chuuya) he has created a realistic relationship. He knows what boundaries are. TBFT Dazai just sorta bypasses any boundaries and makes them null or says “those are my boundaries too, we are married” but he is utterly devoted too Chuuya and beyond that. SVS would feel like TBFT Dazai is him if he had stayed in Yokohama, but at least he’s endeared to Chuuya just as much if not more than Hinz

As for hnk, Svs would just feel pity for him because he’s obviously fucked up. Maybe he would be a little envious of getting to spend an eternity with Chuuya, but not one where he wouldn’t feel the pleasures of life with him. Hnk can’t fuck or really kiss the way he can 😭 he also can’t feel the way it feels to be human and for the longest time that was Dazai favorite misery to pass time. Relationship wise though…leaving someone for like 100 years, SVS Dazai would be disappointed because his Chuuya doesn’t deserve to ever feel that loss, it’s like criminal to even think about.
