Covet’s new video for ‘glimmer’ might look like a fire hazard, but God it looks so pretty!

Surrounded by candles, the Californian trio let their smoky, hypnotic rhythms dance around them like a soothing lullaby, a perfect fit for the clip’s sparse, dimly-lit backdrop.

Guitarist Yvette Young says about the track (via Soundfiction):

‘This song was originally a delicate and soft acoustic song I wrote but when I played it one day with the band, it evolved into this heavy moody piece with massive modulated delays and lots of reverb [...] It’s cool how sometimes songs can be reborn and take a whole new shape when you put it in the context of a full band.’

Founded in 2006 by Roberto Vitali and based in Geneva (Switzerland), the first goal was to be a quality vinyl label of electronic music. But faced with the difficulties of finding a distributor and manage an independent label, it was decided to transform the identity of MonoKraK. For those who are out of the music business, just because they are not a "good product", there is another chance : netlabels. No more money in the affair, just music. The feeling to be free and to produce what or who you want is now a reality.
