Okay so HONESTLY im gonna ramble about this idea i got from reading one of the genshin sagau posts about the creator and their books that are read are popping into tevyat BUT imagine if it were the movies we have watched (inspired from @sagaubeloved sorry for the ping if it bothers you 😭)

LIKE imagine if ur a horror movie fanatic, IMAGINE THE CHARACTER'S REACTION. Idk if u watch horror bcs u like it or u just like a good scare or two but imagine showing them a movie like maybe the nun 2 or fnaf or coraline or ANY HORROR MOVIES. Imagine if the people (scholars, maybe some theatrics enjoyers?) are horrified watching it "THE CREATOR WATCHES THIS?!" "Yeah i do-" They'd either get nightmares or became really paranoid cause horror movie end credits sometimes scares me like 'based on-' no. I think they'd be paranoid because it says based on real life or something. Especially if its coraline, HONESTLY I COULDNT SLEEP MUCH FOR A FEW DAYS BECAUSE OF THE SPIDER MOM OR WHATEVER OTHER MOM THAT IS 😭😭 buttons for eyes (no- not identity v-) or if its something like FNAF then they'd probably be paranoid 💀 (until they know its actually from a game that has like 13 versions with i think 8 being the ACTUAL part of the series and the rest being spin-offs)

Now other than horror movies we have something moreeeee child friendly? Maybe some of y'all still watches trolls (i heard trolls 3 was about to be released), disney maybe, dreamworks am i the only one who suddenly remembers ratatouille talking about this-. The characters would be less horrified with this and go like "oh, this is the type of movie creator likes? Sounds nice" IF YOU'RE LIKE ME AND YOU HAVE THE DISC OF THE MOVIES AND YOU PLAYED THAT ONE MOVIE YOU JUST CANT STOP WATCHING BECAUSE ITS SO DANG GOOD, they'd probably cherish THAT movie more than the others because BRO, THE CREATOR watches that shit 24/7 WHO WOULDNT KEEP THAT MOVIE DISC FOR THE WHOLE TEVYAT TO SEE. AND YK WHATS FUNNY, IF ITS A MOVIE THAT HAS LIKE ANIMALS AS THE MAIN CHARACTERS (Madagascar, Lion King, etc) idt they'd even know what a LION is. I MEAN THE BASIC ANIMALS LIKE DOGS, CATS AND BIRDS ARE THERE (does rishboland tigers count as tigers here-) BUT SOMETHING MORE WILD LIKE LIONS or SPECIFIC BIRD TYPES, MONKEYS????(wolfs should exist i mean, theres wolvendom, snakes also exist cuz if not then wtf is changsheng, deers, dragons???)

Okay maybe some science fiction enjoyers, something futuristic or robotic like Transformers maybe? (Im sorry my brain could only thing of that 💀 like any transformers movie) They'd either be baffled at that or like taking notes, they'd probably compare those futuristic stuff like the robots with RUIN GUARDS or WHATEVER ELSE IS THE BRANCHING OFF OF THOSE THINGS. Maybe Sumeru would get the gist? Tbh sumeru kinda have more gadgets but we dk abt snezhnaya yet (im thinking snezhnaya has some of their own gadgets as well)

The sequel to The Strangers was surprisingly good. Not too much faffing around, straight to business! I like that in a scary movie. If you haven’t watched this movie yet, I 100% recommend it, it’s supposed to be a horror movie but it’s more silly and fun than anything, so if you don’t like horror movies, that’s completely okay, this movie should be okay for you to watch! 🍿also shorty is my favorite character so I had to make it Y/n’s favorite character, sorry not sorry. This was nice. Me and Gareth never get nights like this anymore. With Corroded Coffin slowly starting to become a hit and spending most nights on the road, we never have us time. I don't even remember the last time me and Gareth went out somewhere nice together, alone. So this is nice to get away from the other guys for a bit.

We decided on going to the drive in, i favorite date night spot of ours. He had picked the movie, Killer Klowns from Outer space. It released almost a week ago and hasn't been getting the best rating, but me and Gareth will be the judge of that. I mean, its about clowns, it's gotta be scary. Which is right up me and Gareth's ally. It just started as the title card was ending.

"im jojo the ice cream clown, with the best ice cream in town! We give you the stick, you give it a lick, A tasty treat for while you screw!" the ice cream man said in the movie.

"Well that's mature"

"where's the dang ticket booth?"

"oh fuck no" Gareth said, next to me chewing on some popcorn.

A shadow of what i assumed was a clown appeared from in the circus tent in the movie.

"did he just take his dog?"

"i think so Gare"

"Where's my dog? Where's my pooh bare? I'll tear this thing apart with my bare hands!" the old man said before placing his hands on the circus tent which ended up with him getting shocks through his body. Right afterwards a clown appeared on the scream, a colorful funny looking gun pointing towards the old man.

"Babe...i thought this was supposed to be a horror movie.." i said, this isn't very scary for it to be counted as a horror movie.

"we are only 9 minutes in, maybe as it goes on it will get scary, maybe it's just one of those slow burn horror movies"

"No body stores cotton candy like this"

"What are you talking about, of course it is, look-"

The man pulls off a piece of cotton candy off just to be faced with a dead corpse.

"cotton candy cocoons with dead bodies in them....what in the actual fuck-" Gareth said with a giggle, he stopped laughing though when a clown with red hair and a purple and blue outfit on popped up on the screen.

"wait- Gareth, are you afraid of clowns?" i said, a big smile on my face.

"what? no-"

"oh my god, yes you are, how am i just now finding out about this? And you were the one to pick this movie"

"just shut up and keep watching"

"why are these people opening the door so easily? if i saw that at my front door i would shut that door quicker than the speed of light" Gareth said before taking a big gulp of his drink.

It was a little dumb,if you saw a clown with pizza boxes, not knowing whats inside them, late at night, you would act all cool about? Fuck no.

But i will say the small little clown with the green hair is pretty adorable.

The small little clown rides a little colorful looking bike, riding towards a group of hardcore bikers.

"mean bike you got there, can i take a ride pal?" the biker asked, the small clown answered no in whatever clown language he was speaking.

"can i beep the horn?" this time the clown answered yes, only for the asshole to take his small colorful bike and slam it on the ground, breaking the bike.

"that was just rude" i said

"what you feel bad for the clown?" Gareth asked

"actually yes i do, he is actually very adorable"

"what are you gonna do? knock my block off?" the biker asked, that is when the small clown, now wearing boxing gloves, punched him right in the face, his head falling right off his body.

"that's what you get prick" i said, Gareth slowly turned his head towards me

"you are unbelivable sometimes you know that?"

"no way the shadow of his hands just ate those poor people" i said "that was a dumb death, right Gareth" i said, he did respond " gareth?"

i looked over to see him clutching onto himself, he looked....scared.

"holy shit, you can't be serious Gareth"

"listen i love horror but i hate clowns"

"then why did you choose to watch this?"it didn't make sense, if he didn't like clowns, why would he pick this to go and watch? He could have picked something else.

"it was a bet"

"what?" i said confused.

"i made a bet with the boys, if i lost i had to come and see this, of course i lost so here we are"

i didn't say anything, i just pulled him closer to me "it's okay Gare bear, i'll protect you from the scary little clowns"

Okay this is a slightly creepy part, the clown using the dead officer as a puppet.

Gareth had closed his eye for that cause this part is definety really scary. The officers blood used as puppet makeup on his face.

Lets hope and pray Gareth gets a good nights rest instead of constantly waking up from nightmares about this movie.

"what are you gonna do with those pies boys?"

They threw those pies at him, that's what they did.

But it wasn't just any pies, they were acid pies. The poor guy melted from the acid. The cute little green haired clown placing a cherry on top.

"why is there so many of them!" Gareth said, eye wide open, mouth slightly parted, the tow of us staring at the screen, an army of clowns showing up.

Suddenly all the clowns stopped and looked up

"what's happening..." Gareth said ,uneasy on what's unfolding on the screen.

A big fucking clown appeared that's what happened, a big boy.

yup. Tonight is gonna be a long night with Gareth, i'm prepared to not get much sleep tonight.

Finally the movie had ended, the credits coming on, the theme song had a nice bop to it.

"i don't think you should set bets with the boys anymore" i said with a small giggle.

"yeah i hear ya, the theme song is a freaking hit though" he said, it indeed was.

The night is warm, not so unusual on this side of the States. The interior of my car is cold, thank God to whoever decided that it was a good idea to put an AC inside a car. We eat by candle light, we talk about everything and anything at the same time, he also explains me the next D&D campaign he is working on. His face lighting up each time he mentions those two freshmen boys and how they inspire him on creating some new plot lines and all that. After we finish eating, we lay down on the sofa, we decide to watch “Dirty Dancing”, even though Eddie doesn’t like it he is willing to watch it just because I watched a Horror especial on TV last Friday.  

As the movie plays we both realise that maybe watching a movie is not the best plan we could have come up with, so we turn the tv off and go to his room.

Now this is more like Eddie, the smell of tobacco and weed is now on my nostrils, his room is still messy but I have seen it worse, but it doesn’t matter to me, at the end of the day that is how Eddie is like an organised mess. I lay on his bed, not before taking my shoes off, while he changes the classical music for some Black Sabbath. He takes off his t-shirt, letting me see all of his tattoos. 

“Enjoying the view sweetheart?” He asks with a cheeky smile when he notices my eyes glued on him, but who can blame me? He just looks so good.

✘ with her father and grandfather being both deputies within the sheriffs department, along with her siblings as well,  frankie has always felt pressured by their reputation. especially with their very much outspoken hatred towards the gangs within town. perhaps it was her rebilious phase settling in, but she found herself drawn towards those groups. outlaws of any kind, really. anything that screamed the entire opposite of her family.

✘ frankie’s interest in medicine comes from an unusual source. she’s had a strange fascination with blood and violence from a young age. something about it simply just attracts her and she can’t particularly place a finger on it. in fact, the interest bothers her quite greatly at times. she tries her best to ignore it and tries to place it into a practical sense. which is why she chose to go into the field of EMS, she could fuel her obsession without anyone batting an eye, and at the same time she could help people.

✘ while frankie is a paramedic, she’s an incredibly corrupt one. a lot of her patients end up being criminals, a lot of the time in trouble with the law or hold the potential to be in some sort of trouble. she’s helped people escape custody at the hospital numerous times, failed to report things she should to the police, smuggle out medications and supplies from the hospital, and everything in between. she neither views her actions as right or wrong, she’s simply just helping out people when she can.

✘ a lot of her paramedic work also happens off duty, where she’s called into sketchy situations because people can’t go to the hospital in fear of being caught or questioned by the police. she can no longer keep track of the amount of times she’s had to stitch up someone in a poorly lit room with limited supplies at her disposable. but she does it every time, without question.

✘ [ DRUG TRIGGER WARNING ] while on the outside, frankie seems to handle her job just fine, more times than not she had to self-medicate in order to keep her nerves in check. she witnesses a lot of tragedy, death and grief in her lifetime and she has to keep her composure somehow. she refuses to believe she has an addiction, and for those who are aware of it she simply denies it all. her addiction has caused a near constant tremble in her hands, only disappearing when she’s hyper focused on her work. it’s a characteristic she tries to ignore, and shrugs her shoulders when pointed out.

✘ [ OVERDOSE TRIGGER WARNING ] unfortunately , after a particularly bad incident, frankie accidentally overdosed and landed herself in hospital for a short stint of time. her father, not wanting to have any shame or question directed towards his family, managed to keep the whole thing under wraps. a few people are aware of what happened, but for some reason of the other keep quiet about it. especially the person who found her [ yall im sorry but potential connection bye ] she took a brief break from her job whilst she was recovering, and for a lot of people her short disappearance is left unanswered. since the overdose she’s been sort of sober if you can even call it that. she’s been trying to keep things under control but ya gal ain’t so good at that.

✘ when she’s not doing EMS work, both on and off-duty, you’ll probably find her at a club or bar of some sort trying to wind down. it’s not so much about the drinking, she just likes to party and dance whenever she gets the chance. she’s pretty busy most of the time, and ends up taking a lot of night shifts, so partying isnt something she gets to do all the time. she can be quite shy sometimes so she needs a bit of a party setting in order to let loose and have some fun. is that troubling ?? maybe so, but she chooses to ignore it.

✘ horror movie fanatic. are we surprised ?? you’ll often find frankie locked up in her house, horror movies playing in the background. it keeps her sane and she would very much appreciate it if you don’t mention it. she finds it a little embarrassing sometimes. she’s very shy ALRIGHT.

✘ if you call her francine she might just cry. she hates it. only her family calls her that. if you’re special she MIGHT accept fran in a pinch but she always introduces herself as frankie. francine is reserved for family and legal documents alright.

BACKGROUND:

everyone’s least favourite fuck boy and jackass and im so sorry for any future interactions with him

he comes from a damaged, broken, trailer trash home back in texas. his father was out of the picture before he was born and his mom had a severe substance abuse issue shortly after he was born

at first he was the victim of bullying, but after turning into his mother’s punching bag at home it didn’t take long for him to move up in ranks and became the bully when middle school rolled around

his mother disappeared in high school and his brother, who was a drifter robbed him blind after making a promise to one day go out to the coast and start a new life together

vincent eventually dropped out of school, worked part time and moved out to the coast all by himself, wanting to keep his end of the bargain

he’s lazy, unreliable, uncooperative and a douchebag most of the time with a nihilistic attitude

he got lucky when one of his coworkers offered to shadow him in bartending and now he’s lucky enough to make a steady living out of it, and really lucky if his smug, cute face lands him in bed with a girl at the end of his shift

vincent doesn’t have any ambition or prospects for the future, he’s pretty sure living by the moment is really the only way a person can live their life to the fullest at this point, so he’s mostly out drinking or getting high

he’s got a broken heart but he won’t dare let anyone get close enough to him to figure that out. he doesn’t want, need or deserve anyone feeling sorry for him

despite all this - at the very least, he knows how to go out and have a good time and be pleasant enough to hang around when everyone’s getting shit faced

he works with customers all night long, he’s mostly a shit but there is some charismatic charm to him that lasts a short while

HEADCANONS:

— actually did have a high school sweetheart who used to be a positive influence on him. she was sweet, smart and nurturing and most importantly too good for him but the only person he ever loved or cared about on a deeper level

— he lives in an apartment with a bunch of other misfits. his apartment is trash, parties just about every night, with roommates that constantly come and go as they please

— he’s got quite a few random small tattoos all over his body (think kurtis conner) just little ridiculous tattoos he’s gotten when he was high, drunk or thought was funny at the time. don’t ask him about them, they don’t mean anything
