Just because I've been thinking about it a lot, if you were I'm charge of Hal's storyline, would you have kept him as the Spectre? Or would you have brought him back to life in a way that wasn't so... retconny? I think I'm personally team Hal stays the Spectre and really makes it his own thing 🤔

I would have loved to have seen a longer run for hal as spectre. His relationship with helen was SOOOO so sweet and good and I would have loved to see more of spectre hal trying his bestest to be a responsible parent. I feel like the ending of spectre (although very satisfying) felt a little rushed so itd be nice to have more of it. Lol. Coughing up blood please dc please please please please please

HOWEVER. With that being said I think hal coming back to life would also be really fucking good if treated properly (ie returned to life in his pre-parallax body (broken arm and all) and without any lantern powers or rings). I would absolutely love to see him violently scrambling trying to acclimate back to being a physical person with taxes and bills to pay and helen to take care of on top of all of it. And he'd have to do it without any help from the jla or his friends bc he needs to prove to both them and to himself that he's trustworthy and still capable.
