honestly 😭 i feel like sometimes i struggled with this too but what i think is choppy no one else sees so first of all it's important to remember not to be too hard on yourself!! i'm not sure if you're talking about texts or actual written dialogue but in case it's both, let me start with text:

i often think in a mindset of how i text. and to be honest while i'm outlining i usually get tons of ideas for little texts/entire conversations anyway and so i'll write it all out (for example, my love notes outline was 116 pages long LMAO because the entire thing is just me writing out text like this-

"atsumu: OKAY WELL NOW YOU GUYS REALLY WENT ON A DATE oikawa: i hope you gave her a new years kiss osamu: i think you’re putting too much faith in him bokuto: I HOPE YOU GUYS HAD A GOOD TIME!! suna: bokuto and osamu are the only good people here osamu: if you had to elope with one of us who would u pick"

-yes i did copy that straight from my document. so FIRST since writing that all out + outlines works for me, my outline is basically my rough draft and i think it always helps just to have an idea of what you're thinking of writing before you start writing it! so i'm pretty sure that i changed up bokuto's text in that clip because when i was writing the actual chapter, i didn't think it flowed well or was very in character for him. which leads me into my second point which is for texts and written parts! i think it gets easier if you try to just think from the point of view/mindsets of characters. like suna is obviously a very much more relaxed laid back guy who doesn't talk with a lot of enthusiasm while atsumu is a little more dumb!! (we love him) and loud!!! if you struggle with trying to imagine how they would talk, i would recommend doing things like rewatching episodes/clips of them. before writing love notes, i rewatched the inarizaki match to get a better feel for him (even though they gave me so little of my husband 😔😔😔 i took what i could get). pinterest also has lots of funny or romantic silly little text clips if you just search them up which is what inspired lots of the love notes epilogue (such as the "i'm going to strangle you" "can you even reach my neck" texts, that was literally something i found on pinterest) that you can get inspiration from or even your own funny texts with friends!

for written dialogue, i tend to imagine the scene playing out and then i sort of write what i envisioned. like i imagined suna and y/n on the train, how they're looking at each other, and what they would talk about and then wrote that out! i italicize how they're looking at each other because it's always nice to add descriptions to your writings sometimes :) and when you imagine the scenes, it's sort of second nature! i'd say it once again just really goes back to having a good hold and understand of your characters and how they'll interact. and when you understand them, it also becomes easier to envision them. and also remember everyone writes and interprets things differently!!! you will write your own version of characters and it will be perfect. do not worry about being "ooc" or anything! finding how you relate to characters and giving them personal experiences (if that makes sense) can help you understand those characters more if you struggle with it. and again, rough drafts are super helpful! and they're called ROUGH for a reason. like if you're not feeling a scene, don't force yourself to write it, just be like "y/n and kenma do this." and then move on! when i'm just not too sure about ideas or i can't imagine anything at the moment, i will literally just be like "y/n and suna see each other at onigiri miya." and then tab it. i hope some of this is helpful!! 😭 i keep going on and on because i'm trying to make sure i'm actually explaining things well and in a way that makes sense. i didn't always used to imagine scenes as i wrote them but i would highly recommend it if you're brain works that way! it's like making/watching a movie in your head and thinking of it that way makes it a bit easier for dialogue to flow at least for me so that's my number one tip <3 i hope this helped a little bit!! and i can't wait to talk to u again lovely <3

Ive been considering it !!! actually posted it on my priv some of my mutuals encouraged me to talk about it cuz i was feeling a little awkward, but i did put lots of thought into the piece so i ended up making this brief summ up of it, plus like if people wanna hear my thoughts too im happy to share ^_^

since this is my most charged piece by far id say? i put lot of small references and symbolism in my work in general but i guess the closes that would come to this extent was my crow comic bwhaha

altho most times i dont overexplain my works because honestly i like seeing what other people pick out from it, sometimes someone will deduce smth i didnt intend at all but ends up working greatly in the piece, which is super neat imo,

theres no right or wrong interpetation, most times, as is there more just things with clear intent and then everything else the viewer picks out from it

okay listen feral bikerider gale/past catching up to him/etc etc etc anon here and can I just say. thank you. I’m not overly interested in the actual violence or gang-shit or whatever. when I first read about the bikerider au all I could think about was sons of anarchy (idk if you’ve watched it, but I watched three seasons with my dad and it’s all just. gang conflict after gang conflict after gang conflict with some romance sprinkled on top and that’s not. really my thing) and I was not into it. at all. then your yapping (affectionate) converted me. hearing that it won’t be all weapon smuggling and, idk, drugs or smth is actually so reassuring lol

and!!! obviously it’s your fic/au, I’m definitely not here to try to influence you in any way whatsoever!!! I’m super excited to read it no matter what because your writing is just. lovely. I check in pretty much every morning like I’m reading the papers lmao

doing something semi-stupid in your past feels like kind of on brand for everyone, even though it might not be illegal for most. and maybe it wasn’t illegal for Gale, either, bro I am not a very good writer, I’ll leave the plotting to someone else.

but I’ll always love the idea of Gale being a little feral. or a lot feral. like John getting hurt in a bikerider au tickles my brain the same way John punching a German guard in canon centric fics does. Nevermind the guard, I just need the fallout. the angsty fallout.

John and Gale coming back home, and Gale sitting him down in the bathroom to very, very carefully patch him up (and, listen, the other guys probably just roughed him up a little. he probably got away with minor bruises and some scrapes), and Gale being insanely worried that he has scared John. John on the other hand is worried for Gale, because what if it happens again? What if the police finds out? John being worried that he somehow messed up.

and, don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t mind reading feral gale beating the shit out of people. It’s just not something I want to read a full fic of.

finally, because I just need to add this, too: Gale’s knuckles being split and bleeding and John so very carefully cleaning them up, pressing gentle kisses to the cuts when he has to scrape the dried blood up to get it properly clean. Gale not being sure what he did to deserve John, being so sweet and gentle and caring.

i have THOUGHTS. aka this got lengthy oops, shocker. a bit of plotting and then like 2k words of drabble below the cut lmfaoo

the proper drabble will be further down, but first of all, very big agree!! and relieved i'm not the only one who feels this way omg. i haven't watched SOA for this reason specifically– i just don't have much interest in the conflict/violence–heavy plot stuff (which is ironic considering i'm excited for the bikeriders movie, but i think it's pretty clear that's because of the lovely cast lol since i don't care for bikes/cars in the slightest oops). HONOURED that my yapping converted you tho LOL i swear if something is character focussed, it can make 99% of topics at least somewhat appealing!

and please don't worry omg i don't feel influenced/pressured etc, i loveee bouncing ideas and brainrot back and forth for my aus, it's sm fun and i love trying to incorporate things other people like/suggest when i can!! <3 but omg i will weep thank you so much wtf?? :'))

for sure; even the most stoic/'put together' characters surely have done some not very bright things in their lives. i'm toying with a couple backstories for gale to establish what might catch up to him or cause conflict, but i'm gonna wait to decide until i see the movie because i have a feeling i'll get some good inspo from benny's story!

honestly it's the part i'll have to put the most effort into really thinking out in terms of plot to make it flow naturally, because all the relationship focussed things kinda write themselves as i brainrot. but i'm 99% sure i'm gonna write the fic from john's pov because it'll keep a lot of gale a mystery to the readers as well, and therefore save me from having to flesh out certain things until necessary lmfaoo

and yeah!! it's not always the events themselves that hit the hardest– it's the fact that the character could be feral enough for them to happen in the first place, and it's the outcome/fallout that's most fun to write/read (to me).

feral gale is so fun to explore in general because of how different it is to most of what we're shown of him in mota, so it's like a challenge to keep him feeling in character while also picking out the little parts of him that could be pushed to be that way. and of course the classic whump of the one person gale cares about and tries so hard to protect getting hurt because of him? endless angst possibilities.

i dig what you said, about john 'just' being roughed up a little, because i think with whatever backstory i end up forming, it's not like the 'bad guys' are gonna be some mastermind criminals extorting gale for something life or death lol. it's probably gonna be a bunch of rough and tumble biker men with some long lasting beef between their clubs, hitting gale where they know it'll hurt the worst: a loved one.

i bet you anything (depending on how plotting goes LOL) that they don't actually even intend to mess john up to the extent they do; i bet john runs his mouth and makes some sorta escape attempt because as terrified as he is, all he can think about is how gale's gonna obviously track him down and he's more worried about what the guys are planning to do to gale when he shows up. in his naive mind, if he can get out and get to a phone or something, he can stop everything.

ofc the escape attempt is futile because it's one gangly college kid vs a couple of grown ass men, and john gets banged up in the process, seeing as being tackled to the ground with your wrists bound behind your back doesn't leave you with anything to protect your face from concrete with, and maybe then he gets a solid fist to the face to scare him out of pulling anymore shit (it sure works).

and just the act of taking john/putting him danger alone would have gale ready to wring these men out by their necks, but when he shows up and sees his baby bleeding? and he can't tell how bad he's hurt, from where he's lurking around the corner scoping out the situation? he'd see red and be pretty dang close to saying fuck it and going in there without a plan, but the fear of john getting hurt in the process would stop him, and he doesn't feel like going down for murder.

somehow he picks off the guys one by one with a generous amount of flying fists and y'know, maybe a bit of knife–work if necessary, idk, future plotting lol, and tells them they're good as dead if they pull anything like this again. that the club will be keeping an eye out for them, that they're a buncha cowards, and they can come talk to him face to face like men, next time. you get it.

and then finally, obligatory wound care ofc <3 easily top three tropes ever ugh. gale gets john the fuck out of there and to the safety of his truck, methodical and vigilant, and only then does his guarded expression drop, and his hands are shaking just as hard as john's are when he cups john's face in his hands to look him over. john gives him a shell–shocked "'m fine, gale" and hates how guilty gale looks, because there's not even the tiniest part of john that blames gale for any of it; john knew what he was getting into (to an extent) with gale.

but regardless, gale's shaken up, terrified by how much worse things could've gone and how much danger john could've been in, but also terrified of how deeply he feels for john; probably some backstory there about gale seeing someone he loved get hurt, or almost get hurt, swearing he'd never bring someone into his life again because of it, etc, and then in waltzes stubborn, loud–mouthed john egan.

but selfishly (or what he feels is selfish), gale's also terrified that this might be the final nail in the coffin for john. he knows he's not the easiest to be with (even though john thinks the exact same thing about himself lol silly boys) and he knows john's more patient than he deserves, and could find someone his own age with a normal life in a heartbeat with his sweet disposition and charming pretty boy looks. and he knows john's well within his rights to walk away from their relationship now, to be scared of the future, to decide it's too much, and part of gale would be relieved to not have to worry, even if he'd miss john like he's lost half of himself.

it's real quiet when they're back home and john's sitting on the bathroom counter, gale between his legs, patching up his face so so gently, as if each brush of a cotton swab is an apology. both of them have lots to say but neither know how to say it; john hates knowing gale's probably shouldering all the blame and he doesn't know how to reassure him in a way that'll get through to him, but he can't handle the silence. probably makes a weak joke about how "y'shoulda seen the other guy" and doesn't even get a smile out of gale.

ends up wrapping his legs around gale's hips to pull him closer but just gets a huffed out, frustrated "john" as gale swats his ankles away, and it's not that john's trying to make light of what happened, he just doesn't know how to talk about something like that, regardless of how good he and gale have gotten at communicating.

john probably gets a bit frustrated, because gale’s already so protective over him as is, which he likes, but now gale’s treating him like glass, like he’s scared to hurt him further just by touching him, and john does not like that. it feels like progress undone, like he's back at the beginning of their relationship when gale wouldn't let him in or open up to him or trust that he was capable of making his own decisions.

so when gale's done bandaging him up with practiced, meticulous hands, john doesn't give gale time to react, just slides off the counter and snatches the little first aid kit from his hands and says "okay, your turn." and it's obvious gale wants to protest, but john catches him so off guard that he stunned into silence, lets john guide him until he's leaning against the counter.

john's hands still tremble when he takes gale's hands in his, and he tries to steady them because he doesn't want gale to see how freaked out he is, but he diligently cleans away the blood around his knuckles, feeling gale's eyes on him the whole time but not looking away from his task, scared he'll shatter the moment if he does.

if he were to look up though, he'd see gale's watching him in complete awe, struck by the fiercest wave of adoration, drawing a blank while he tries to search for what he could've possibly done in this life or another to have someone like john come (crashing, stumbling, tornado–ing) into his life.

and if we wanna make it extra yowch–y and sappy and feelings heavy: as john's brushing his lips over the cuts, dusting featherlight kisses across his knuckles, john's throat goes tight and he feels his own overwhelming rush of emotions and his heart thumps and he blurts out: "i love you."

it's the first time one of them says it. and it’s a disguised i love you even so. i love you despite. i love you anyway. i love you because. months worth of reassurances wrapped into three words, and even with what john's just gone through, he's still scared when it slips out, looks up at gale with wide, searching eyes, trying to gauge whether he's overstepped or said the wrong thing.

gale's just trying to catch his breath, feeling like the wind's been knocked out of him by the admission. half of him wants to shake his head, gently push john's hands away, tell him "no you don't, hun." a tiny part of him wants to be cruel about it, to laugh the honesty off and ensure john will walk out that door far, far away from the mess that gale is, and not turn back, safe from harm.

but the other half of him, the half that holds his heart, evidently, has him cupping john's open, sincere face in his hands, looking down into bright, fearful, hopeful blue eyes, and murmuring "i love you more."

and john blushes as hard as he did the first time they'd kissed, as hard as he did the first time he was laid out in gale's bed, as if he and gale haven't said a million things much more fluster–inducing since they met. gets all shy, pouts, looks down and mumbles "that's not fair," and that finally gets the first smile out of gale all day, maybe even a breath of a laugh.

How is your writer's block, I hope writing is easier now. Just wanted to say I was rereading a few of your works and have to say to say I love how different fem Charles and fem Oscar are from one another but both personalities make so much sense.

This is how I see them

Fem Oscar is reserved, single-minded, polite, silently ruthless. She could care less about what people think of her as all she thinks about is having the number 1.

Fem Charles in that comparison is much more calculated (not that Oscar can't be, it's just she does not have time for it in midst of crushing or dreaming about crushing the dreams of men), she uses people's love for her as another weapon, she is a planner (just like ferrari she probably has plan a to z).

Also although you haven't written fem Max I see her as someone who still has the FAFO attitude. She doesn't mind getting into fights (Also I have this headcanon that fem Max is very tall for a girl, probably like 5'9- 5'10, she absolutely towers over the men on the grid and she specifically wear heels to be even more taller because it leaves the men even more disgruntled, she loves it). she is unapologetic, probably claps back viciously at the journalist, giving the pr team headaches. In a way she is a product of the situations she faced (I sort of imagine that the 2016 grid who was not welcoming of the 17 years old Max is probably even more hostile to fem Max, also the media does not like her because she is not the woman in motorsports they wanted (someone less vicious, who pushes the boundaries only to certain extent, good but not that good).

And this ended up being an essay on fem Max lol, I guess I got all my jumbled thoughts out, although I don't know what point I was trying to make. Uhh sorry about this word vomit, now I am going to word vomit on my college assignment on Aristotle.

my writer's block is... going. i started a new draft which will be the fic for a secret santa (and oh boy, both me and @starlightvelaris have signed up for that one so obviously we can't talk about it and it's fucking torture....) but i wasn't able to add anything to my previous drafts so honestly, i don't know :/

fem!oscar is just what you say. obsessed with winning, with being number one, not because it's winning but because it means that she is the best. she knows she's good, she knows she's one of the best, and no one can stop her from it.

fem!charles is a pr weapon. charles is already one, he knows how to play the game, how to charm people on and off camera, and as a woman that's even more important. charlie has spent her whole life building her image, hiding her ruthless side on track with a pretty smile and fooling people around her. it's her strategy, and it works, because she not only had a disadvantage when she was younger regarding money (which she was able to balance out thanks to connections) but also due to her gender.

and fem!max is just ruthless, brutally honest and doesn't hide it. she doesn't care that people hate her because their opinions don't influence her results, she has been raised as a winner and she is one. her father didn't want another daughter, he wanted a vicious racer and he raised one.

obviously, when she just joined the grid, they were really excluding her, thinking that 1. she won't stay long and is just a charity case and 2. is a woman. and sure, most drivers might now advocate for women in motorsport but max doesn't really play into the traditional image of a 'woman' so there would be at least one driver publicly shooting against her. not that she cares lmao

and the first years are definitely rough for rb pr, because max doesn't want to change and they can't force her to. when it becomes clear that she is here to stay, the hate just gets worse, actual reporters even going so far and asking insulting questions they would never dare to ask other (male) drivers. but, surprise surprise, the pandemic and the netflix documentation save her (and rb pr)

because in the end, fem!max is the definition of a gen z. zero fucks given, absolutely unapologetic and unafraid to call out bullshit. netflix tries to portray her as a villain but there are clips of max just fooling around and saying shit like "professional red bull driver? more like professional red bull drinker", showing that she has humor behind all that bite.

but still, actual media still tries to drag her through the mud, because they've been doing this for years now, but the internet? the internet loves her.

this is why i also believe that 2021 much more people would be on max's side, simply because her fanbase is much bigger and it would be generally a bigger thing. first female world champion and a world champion that just prevented from lewis hamilton to take the 8th one. dare i say iconic

For Ben I was really thinking of someone leaning more on the playful/mischievous side cause i feel that’s a huge part of most people’s headcanons for him (including mine).

I thought who better than Hermes cause if ur a fan of EPIC (Circe saga specifically 🤓☝️) I felt that Jorge Rivera really protrayed Hermes with a playful/childish demeanor and even if was helping Odysseus he was like “yeah ur probs gonna die anyway bud” and it kinda resonates with Ben cause he’s just in it for shits n giggles tbh.

Being the god of messages I feel like Ben would have a lot of fun spreading misinformation around the mansion (or wherever if the mansions not ur thing 😔).

Also in a way I feel like it’s the same thing with his powers and tech savvy skills. I remember seeing a few people on here hc his job was security cams and stuff so he knows the shit you’re up to😰

Yk wether it’s sending emails under rando accounts or discord messages about his latest obsession he’s not afraid to SEND👏THAT👏MESSAGE👏

In general I feel like one could argue he’s unfiltered tbh

For example, if there was a mansion in this au (the world they live in is up for interpretation cause I love the idea of Ancient Greece but I’m loyal to the cringe mansion I love dearly 😔)

Teleportation comes in handy for when slender decided to give out hand-written letters that come with Cheeto dust fingerprints(Ben swears they were there before) (they were guys dw bout it…)

Something else I’ve seen on here is that he’d float to make himself taller and i will take this to the grave idc if i die on this hill.

SUPPOSE they had outfits and he had to be pried off the hot topic isles and link getup. I genuinely do not think he’d fw the sandals im sorry 😔. He’d slap something else on and call it a day. Or maybe not tbh..he’d think they’re cool.

I feel like outside of this AU he’s a bit of a chatterbox so..IN this AU he’d probably use deliveries as a way to talk the ear off and bother hang with his friends and fellow Creepypastas.

Anyways, in summary Ben can impish and irresponsible but he’s a master of his craft and if there does end up being heroes to guide he wouldn’t hesitate to…interfere.

First order of business shout out to @jeffthekillerzblog and his au about Ben, Jeff and Nina’s arcs I love them sm. The whole idea of her getting over Jeff and sort of becoming her own person without him is awesome and I can definitely see it in my au too.♥️♥️

I chose Calyspo because when met with Odysseus she was instantly head over heels, turning into a kind of obsession and yearning for company😔👏(yeah same)

I think Calypso’s whole idea of “I love you and I think I’ll die without it” resonates with what Nina used to be with Jeff and her need for his affection.

Although I don’t really think Nina would necessarily keep a partner as a hostage on an island I think she tends to feed into that kind of delusion of a healthy relationship when desperate for attention

In terms of style and aesthetics Calypso and Nina are pretty much opposite (Nina scene style I am loyal to you) however in this au I’d think she’d wear a lot of pink layered robes and fun jewelry. I like to keep style up for interpretation just cause it’s fun.

Ultimately Calypso does do the right thing and lets Odysseus go,(with pushing from Ben Hermes) I do think at heart Nina knows it isn’t right but she still longs for love.

It gets lonely on an island okay?🤨

ALRIGHT. Here’s the thing, at first I wanted to choose Slenderman for this because it just felt right. However I wanted to choose Ej instead because I took into account the storyline with Persephone. (Also with Jeff and smile dogs friendship I was thinking him too cause smile dog could be his Cerberus ugh😔)

From my interpretation of others HCS and mine I definitely see Ej as a lone wolf so what better place to be dark and ominous than the underworld itself?

I do think Ej would enjoy the isolation and in my hc he’d rather hide away from the others because of his demonic nature, and nobody there to pester him (besides Ben with his emails of course).

Anyway, going back onto the Persephone storyline because it was a dealbreaker between Slender and Ej.

I thought about which one would really want to seek love. In past HCS of slender I’ve seen that he is in fact capable of caring (if ur a fan of the mansion and believing he collects traumatized children like Pokémon or infinity stones) .

So, let’s say Slender is actually capable of caring, would he really wanna go seek love? I kinda see him as a single dad but I’ve debated it tbh. For now I’m just going with single dad who’s not interested in romance but rather power.

So that left me with Ej, I think Ej still has some human in him. Whatever was left behind after his transformation/sacrifice made him yearn for company even being ruler of death. (He’s got Cerberus aka smile dog 🤷‍♀️maybe a couple skeletons idk)

Anywho if he did happen to stumble upon Persephone, rather than kidnapping her pissing her mom off I think he’d be too scared to approach her 😭

you run into kaeya as you’re making your way over to said restaurant

first and foremost being ayO childe what are you doing here???

he makes his way over to you and you guys just kinda stare at each other for a good second 

paimon breaks the silence w her scream of “chILDE???” 

that snaps you out of it and you give him a questioning look while waving back (very delayed might i add)

this is basically when kaeya cuts in 

knowing the both of them they were definitely sizing each other up when pleasantries were exchanged

also kaeya (being the cavalry captain) is DEFINITELY aware that childe is in mondstadt especially since he’s a harbinger - it’s not like he can be quiet abt it 💀

assuming that they haven’t had a chance to meet tho since i mini headcanon that jean would probably have been the one to escort him and his underlings to the goth grand hotel, there would just be some intense eye contact

both men are v prone to putting up a friendly demeanor while having the ability to practically slice you apart w sweet threats and razor sharp looks 

kaeya would take the initiative and say smthg like

“i dont believe we’ve met - i’m kaeya of the knights of favonius” 

childe would shake his hand and out of propriety introduce himself too 

now here’s where things could get a touch complicated 

as fatui harbinger to cavalry captain, obviously there’s some animosity (hidden ofc under sweet words of deceit and sugar coated phrases of diplomacy) 

however, as just kaeya and childe, i think these two would hit it off pretty quickly LMFAO 

they remind me a lot of oikawa and atsumu from haikyuu if you’ve ever watched it 🕴 same exact vibes 

there would be the formalities in the beginning before childe’s playful nature would come through 

kaeya seeing that you two knew each other and were quite amicable ahem even if he did try to kill us would join in w his own smooth nature 

expect lots of cringe worthy moments and just jokes™

a lil bonus scenario bc writing this has been sm fun:

“you’re such a lightweight” kaeya laughed out while his new friend was miserably collapsed on the bar stool next to him. childe looked up from where his head was tucked into his arms and raised an eyebrow. “is that a challenge captain?” he huffed out, his usually clear ocean blue eyes now dilated with the effects of the wine. “you shouldn’t have ordered hardcore alcohol as your first sample of mondstadt wine. that’s a rookie mistake” kaeya remarked while amusedly staring at his companion’s deconstructed state. “yeah well, honestly i think i can still take a couple more drinks. probably more than you anyway” childe retorted. his flushed cheeks however, told another tale altogether. kaeya smirked, a competitor huh? “i wouldn’t expect anything less from a fatui harbinger” were his words and with that, two more drinks were waved over by the cavalry captain.  

needless to say, an hour later, two extremely drunk, flushed men stumbled out of angel’s share, all the while giggling about gloves of all things. it’s safe to assume that they were both kicked out, if the ten drinks they had ordered were of any significance. as they help each other up while making their way onto the streets of mondstadt, they leave behind a bill fit for a feast, and a night that they will certainly remember (especially due to the nasty hangovers they will inevitably wake up to the following morning).

who had the most heart melting smile in the world, making his cheeks puff out

jisung brings you to the city where all the street shops are with the vendors and so many shops high end and cheap brands alike

“i’ve always wanted to have a date here, hold hands, shop and eat stuff while wearing couple outfits and just having a blast!” he says happily

you can’t help but smile at his excitement before realising he said 

“couple outfits??!!” you blurt out in surprise

“yupppp come on let’s go to my favourite shop” he says before you can protest leading you there holding your hand firmly

once you arrive there jisung immediately starts looking for stuff and so do you 

to be honest you like shopping but you hate changing clothes and seeing your body in the mirror 

and if something doesn’t fit it makes you feel like complete shit

but since jisung was so excited you couldn’t help but be too

that boy just made you smile and then smile even more 

“Y/N I FOUND IT!!” he says excitedly 

you go over to him as he’s holding black original vans, black caps with rings through the corner, and red black matching flannels

you gotta admit the outfit is really cute but

“um jisung you’re wearing plaid right now??” you ask confused 

“oh don’t worry i have like 10 different flannels” he says dismissively

“10??!!!!” you exclaim in surprise

“yup now go try this on, we both have black jeans on so just grab a black shirt or singlet on the way” he say lightly shoving you towards the direction of the changing rooms

you hesitantly change your clothes 

and having one glance at your body brings an overwhelming feeling of annoyance, shame and just pure negativity

you take a look of your body and can’t help but thinking of at least 10 things on the spot you want to change

less bulky legs, less fat on the lower bit of your stomach, slimmer arms and the list keeps on going

you huff and close your eyes shut trying to not look at yourself while you put on the loose comfy black t shirt you found 

and you heard a knock and you open the door slightly 

to see jisung leaning on the side

“yes?” you ask

“just remember i love you and every bit of you. keep that in mind as you change” he says sweetly before sneaking a kiss on your nose

before leaving to change himself 

you can’t help but blush and the proceed to slide down the wall

you felt better knowing jisung accepts and loves you for you no matter what you look like

it felt like a pressure lifting off your shoulders, you always wondered if your soulmate wouldn’t like you because of how you look

but that clearly wasn’t the case

with renewed vigor you put on the whole outfit 

and for once you felt really cute with what you’re wearing

maybe it’s because jisung picked it but confidence swells inside of you

“wow you look amazing! actually we look amazing” jisung says brightly wrapping an arm around you as you come out of the change room

and you can’t help but smile back at him and say “yes we do”

he quickly swoops for a kiss on the cheek

saying you were buying the chicken 

you two spend the next few hours 

buying heaps of stuff, more flannels for jisung 

also both of you just ate whatever looks good

and you actually didn’t feel bad for eating nutella crepes for once

maybe it was because of what jisung did right after you took a bite

“you have some nutella there” jisung says wiping some imaginary nutella from the corner of your mouth 

then suddenly he looks at you and then at your lips

and you feel him getting nervous but in love?

then before you know it he has lips on yours 

you rest your hand on his cheek bringing him closer 

he can’t help but smile as he kisses you

making you feel like your heart is literally bursting to the brim with love

the kiss was passionate but still soft and it was filled with affection

you two finally break apart with you blushing and him smiling 

before you know it you blurt out softly “i love you jisung”

he smiles back at you brightly making your heart melt once again

“i love you too beautiful” he says with so much love 

jisung will tell you that everyday and you eventually end up believing him 

and loving yourself but it was nowhere close how much jisung loved you
