Girl h. Help we made ANOTHER au. Enjoy a silly and the tldr of the plot idea so far.

The plot so far is this. In 2009, Thatcher is looking for Ruth, whose last known location is a middle of nowhere "fishing town". The locals seem. Nice enough. Sure they. Look at him strangely and some seem to hate him for seemingly no reason but. Atleast he's managed to befriend local store owner Dave Lee. The truth of the small town? Over half of the population are lake dwelling fish/aquatic non mammal-people, and the lake in the center of the town houses an elder god that gifts them aquatic attributes in a baptism held at the age of 20.

Fun fact. This was made 3 days ago and we're already feral over it. You will start seeing things for it soon. Be prepared.
