IT WASN'T SURPRISING for a young, intelligent woman like you to get your dream job in motorsport, especially as the not very known sister of the much loved driver at rbr, sebastian vettel. start of the season, first day, no sweat. couldn't be much harder than what you've been studying for all your years at uni. you just started working for your brothers team, red bull racing. you could not wait. not only did you get to work at the job you've been dreaming of since you were a little kid, but you got to work along side your older brother, who you loved dearly.

even though you were attempted to be knocked down down by some stupid boys when you were younger, it never stopped you from watching f1 races, studying how they built their cars, or researching about your favourite motorsport. you were determined, stubborn and hardworking. the perfect traits for someone to pursue their dream job. with your supportive brother and family by your side, you were thankful that you finally have made it this far.

as the studious young lady you were, it also wasn't surprising that you were shuffling through your folder containing multiple notes, making sure you didn't forget anything. paying too much attention to what you were doing - rather than where you were going, you bumped into a hard wall.

no, wait. not a wall, but rather a fairly tall man in his early 30s. your folder falls to the floor, the pencil tucked behind your ear doing its best to stay put. squatting down to pick up the fallen folder, you mumbled rapidly. "shoot, sorry, that was completely my fault, i wasn't paying attention to where i wa-"

"relax, darling," you heard a chuckle, the british accent sounding familiar in your ears. "you seem to be stressing yourself out." as you stood up, you were faced with the one and only 2009 wdc winner. "..i- sorry." you whispered softly, embarressed as you stared at your shoes.

"it's alright, love. it was an accident." he grinned, leaning over slightly to see your face. "i haven't seen you around here, are you-"

"there you are!!" your older brother, jogs up to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder. you seemed to forget all about your little accident as you crack into a smile. "c'mon now, you're going to be late." you giggle as seb drags you along with him.

jenson watched as you and sebastian went over to the red bull garage. his eyes followed your perfect posture, up to how your clothes were neat and unwrinkled, finally stopping and lingering on your face. 'friends' with the 2010 champion, hmm? he watched as you entered the garage. he couldn't wait to meet you again.

"hello there, love." from the corner of your eye, you could see a shadow leaning on the doorframe. that same british accent from the day before, that same faint cologne, that same little smirk that seemed to get on your nerves in the weirdest - but not bad - way.

"mr. button." you nod as you wrote notes that you learnt the day before on your tablet.

"please, it's just jenson." jenson sat next to you, leaning over your shoulder to see what you were writing. he did it like personal space wasn't a thing. "i didn't get your name." he turned your head to face you, a small grin on his face.

"it's y/n." you say, not facing him.

"i take it you know sebastian? y'know, from yesterday." he asks, attempting to start a conversation.

"he's my brother." you press 'save' on your tablet, finally closing it and meeting jenson's eyes for the first time. your gaze lingered for a quick second, taking in his features, observing his demeanour.

jenson paused. "brother? i didn't know he had any siblings." jenson says curiously.

"you don't seem to know a lot of things." you say jokingly, giving him a tiny grin. the man couldn't help but chuckle.

"y/n vettel? such a pretty name for a pretty woman." he winks, thinking his usual playboy charm would work on you just like the other girls.

you can't help but roll your eyes playfully as you packed your things. "see you around, button."

you reached into your handbag to pay for your ice cream. the cashier shook her head, gesturing to a man sitting by the window. "he already paid." you furrow your eyebrows. "oh, alright. thank you." you give the cashier a small smile before turning to where she was gesturing to.

jenson damn button. you could already feel his gaze on you and that lingering scent on him as you sat in front of the driver.

"there's really no need to pay for me, mr. button."

"and there's really no need to call me 'mr. button,' love." jenson chuckles, taking a sip of his coffee.

you sigh. you couldn't be stubborn with him, knowing how hard headed he was from all your years of watching f4 to f1.

"this is a nice little shop, don't you think? perfect place to hangout before the australian gp." jenson leans forward, that same smirk on his face.

"mmm, yeah. they have delicous ice cream." you take a bite of yours, not being able to help but feel guilty for not paying for your ice cream.

"what's your favourite flavour?" jenson asks, trying to fuel the conversation.

"chocolate. basic but the best." you say softly with icecream covered lips.

"that's fair." he chuckles. "i'm a vanilla kind of guy."

from there, your conversation grew longer. you both opened up more, sharing small laughs and recalling past memories. it felt like only minutes to you both, but little did you know it was nearly dinner.

"would you look at that, it's nearly 6pm." you check your phone.

"well, before i say goodbye, do you think i could have the pleasure of taking you out for dinner this thursday?" jenson grins.

"nice try, button, but im busy all week. try again next time, and we'll see." chuckling, you pack up your things. "later!" you leave the icecream shop as jenson's eyes follow.

"later." he mumbles. this felt different. different in a way he's never felt like this before. different in a way that you were different. different in a way he was really falling for someone. different or stupid, his stomach twisted with mixed feelings. different.

Was there any difference between when someone was fully switched in and just controlling (possessing, whether fully or just some parts of) the body?

michael_lifshitz 6mo ago Hi, thanks for your question! Our strongest finding was when we looked at tulpa possession. We were using a simple writing task in the fMRI. We found that when a tulpa is possessing the body and writing a sentence, there is reduced activity in a particular part of the brain that's involved in planning actions and having a sense of agency over your actions (the pre-supplementary motor area, or pre-SMA). This suggests that tulpamancers have learned to down-regulate this key agency/planning region, which lets an alternative agent (the tulpa) take control. It's pretty amazing that tulpa systems can do this on demand. We did have a few tulpamancers who could switch, but we haven't carefully looked at their data yet to see how it's different from normal possession. That's a secondary analysis we're planning after the main results come out :)

(there is more information in the AMA thread, but this comment is Lifshitz using the term "tulpa system", which is amusing when anti-endos and sysmeds insist that system is exclusive to DID.)

Respondents discussed that there is a lack of understanding regarding how multiplicity develops without a basis in trauma. For respondents who did not have a trauma history, they described feeling ‘left out of the conversation’ and ‘unable to access support’ or resources. Many people discussed multiplicity in terms of being an experience and a part of their lives, rather than being a ‘disorder’ which needs to be treated or cured. [...] A greater level of understanding and resources were mentioned as being needed within both research and practice.

1.Assuming that someone has multiplicity because they have been abused can be experienced as disempowering and impersonal. Don’t assume a trauma history or pathology. If suitable and appropriate, the young person may wish to confide in you in their own time. An identify of being multiple can exist separately from a young person who has experienced abuse. Multiplicity can be viewed as posiitve by young people.

5.1.1 Misinterpretation of multiplicity experiences Research discussed the lack of diversity encapsulated in current explanations of multiplicity, with primarily medicalised perspectives explored and validated by support and research (Floris & McPherson, 2015). Individuals discussed the link between their experiences and past traumatic events, which they often felt was part of the development of multiplicity (McRae et al., 2017; Parry et al., 2018); however, the conceptualizations of their trauma varied. While some discussed multiplicity in terms of protective factors against trauma (Fox et al., 2013; Zeligman et al., 2017), others felt experiences were separate from prior trauma (Perry et al., 2007). Often not captured within research that solely focuses on clinical aspects of multiplicity, not all experiences were discussed as being a result of trauma, which added to the complexity in understanding (Ribáry et al., 2017). The lack of standardized language was a barrier to understanding (Černis et al., 2020). Overall, a variety of unique terminology was reported, including ‘multiples��, ‘residents’ and ‘plural identity’ (Blunden & Billie., 2021; Ribáry et al., 2017). As a result, participants felt misaligned with current discussions around multiplicity, which is often more complex than current criteria and language elucidates.

6.1 Multiplicity: Disorder versus experience The findings of this review support the notion that multiplicity experiences are complex and varied, existing across a continuum inclusive of multiplicity, DID and derealization–depersonalization (Sar, 2011). Findings also recognized that individuals with lived experiences can struggle to articulate their experiences, perhaps due to a limited framework of available language, representative of our developing understanding and the nuances surrounding multiplicity. Consequently, as with other mental health experiences, multiplicity is often oversimplified and depersonalized, leading people to question their identity, exacerbating one of the central tenants of depersonalization, rather than supporting self-acceptance. As detailed in Table 2, there are unique features associated with multiplicity, DID and depersonalization–derealization disorder, which warrant individual exploration, terminology and support.

Dissociation in Hypnosis and Mediumship Our definition of dissociation pertains to a division of the personality in the context of trauma. We are aware that this division may also occur in hypnosis and mediumship, that several other definitions of dissociation also address these other contexts, and that there are some indications that dissociation in these other contexts is also best understood as a division of personality. For example, Hilgard's well-known “hidden observer,” as found in some highly hypnotizable subjects, involves a dissociative part of the personality that is endowed with consciousness and self-consciousness, but the phenomenon is disputed (e.g., CitationKihlstrom, 1998; CitationKirsch & Lynn, 1998). Mediumship may involve conscious and self-conscious dissociative parts of the personality (CitationBraude, 1995). However, dissociation in mediums is in several regards different from dissociation in DID (CitationMoreira-Almeida, Neto, & Cardeña, 2008). The possible involvement of consciousness and self-consciousness in dissociated controls in hypnosis and in dissociative parts in mediumship needs to be examined in more detail before a conclusive general definition of dissociation can be formulated.

I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion. I agree 100% even said that 2018/2019 should have been his year.

This is a continuation of The Incident - Immediate Aftermath

London, United Kingdom - November 2018

The door to Owl's flat swung open with a creak, revealing the cluttered interior. He stepped inside and he tossed his keys onto the coffee table, where they landed with a dull thud. The apartment was as he had left it—a disordered mess that he found comforting in its familiarity. Owl had just been released from custody after being granted bail.

Only moments later, there was a sharp knock at the door. Owl glanced over his shoulder, knowing exactly who it was before he even opened it. Percival stood on the threshold, his demeanor a mix of urgency and exhaustion. Without waiting for an invitation, Percival stepped inside, his gaze sweeping over the disarray before landing on Owl.

"*redacted*," Percival began, his voice strained with a mixture of relief and frustration. "We need to talk. Properly this time." It was the first time since Percival's birthday party where they could actually talk without being monitored.

Owl sighed, kicking a pile of clothes aside to clear a path to the couch. "Sure, Percy," he replied, settling into the worn leather couch. "Go ahead. Get it off your chest."

Percival remained standing, arms crossed as he tried to find the right words. "I just... I can't wrap my head around this. You don't seem to realize the gravity of what you've done."

Owl met his brother's gaze with unsettling calmness. "I know exactly what I did," he said, his tone flat. "I got rid of a tyrant. I ended a lifetime of misery. I saw an opportunity and took it."

"You killed our father, *redacted*!" Percival's voice rose, echoing off the walls. "Do you understand that? You killed him. And now you're acting like it's nothing."

Owl shrugged, leaning back into the couch as if the weight of his actions were inconsequential. "He had it coming. You know it as well as I do. The man was a monster."

"But you took his life!" Percival shot back, pacing the room, his frustration palpable. "You can't just erase someone like that and expect everything to be okay. This isn't some game, *redacted*!"

Owl remained silent for a moment, studying the ceiling as if seeking answers in its cracks. Then he spoke, his voice steady and detached. " He was never going to change."

Percival paused, his expression shifting to one of exasperated disbelief. "And you don't feel anything? No regret? No guilt?"

Owl's lips curled into a humorless smile. "Relief," he admitted. "That's all. Relief that he's gone, that I won't have to suffer from him anymore."

The words hung in the air between them. "Relief?" Percival repeated, slightly exasperated. "You feel relieved?"

Owl shrugged again. "Yes relieved."

"But murder,?" Percival searched for any hint of remorse in Owl's eyes.

Owl met Percival's gaze, unwavering. "I know you want me to feel bad about this. But I can't. I won't apologize for what I did and I most certainly won't pretend I'm sorry that he's gone."

Percival stared at Owl, searching for some trace of the brother he thought he knew. But the man before him was different, darker—an unsettling mix of indifference and satisfaction. It sent a chill down Percival's spine. He shook his head, trying to comprehend the transformation. "And you think this was the solution? Killing him? You didn't solve anything, Owl. You're facing murder charges. This will ruin you and your future."

Owl leaned forward, elbows resting on his knees. "I never had a future and even if I did, it died with him. Now, at least, I can breathe. You have no idea what it's like, Percy. You were always the golden child."

Percival shook his head, his frustration palpable. "You think it was easy for me? Being the 'golden child' wasn't some gift. It was a burden. I had to be perfect, make no mistakes, live up to his impossible standards. And you—" he paused, the words coming out harsher than intended—"You got to be yourself."

"Be myself?" Owl laughed bitterly, the sound harsh and hollow in the small apartment. "Being myself meant I was a disappointment. A failure. You know as well as I do that I was never good enough for him."

Percival ran a hand through his hair, his eyes filled with a mixture of anger and sympathy. "I know he was hard on you. He was hard on both of us, albeit in different ways. But killing him—it's something you'll have to live with for the rest of your life."

"Good," Owl replied, his voice steady and unflinching. "It's better than living with him."

"At what cost?" Percival pressed. "This isn't freedom. This is destruction. You've destroyed everything. Your career, your future, even yourself."

Owl looked away, his eyes tracing the messy contours of his cluttered apartment. "As if I had anything left to lose in the first place."

Percival watched his brother, searching for a way to reach him, to pull him back from the brink. But the Owl he once knew seemed lost, replaced by someone hardened and irrevocably changed.

"Look," Percival finally said, his tone resigned but determined, "we need to figure out what to do next. We can't just wait for them to lock you up. We need a plan.You may not care about your future, but I do. I'm not giving up on you."

Aduh bunda bundi si challenge teh meni aya aya wae~ joining the hype is not a crime, right!

Ngomongin bb tuh bener2 naik turun yaa sesuai kondisi. Akutu mulai agak gemuk tuh pas SMA tp segemuk2nya aku itu cuma sampe 53kg, pdhl asa ngga gemuk2 amat yagasih mengingat tinggiku sekitar 159-160cm gt. Kuliah turun lagi ke 50kg secara kuliah didugdag bdg-nangor ngedamri pp, lelah hamba~ belom lg tantangan matkulnya, alhamdulillah nya tuh dosen2 kami gapernah ngasih tugas bnyk krn matkulnya udah sulit sih. Sempet 43kg itu edan kerongang kali ogut, pas ngurus ibu sakit keras, hidup kaya ngelayang ngga nafsu makan ngga tidur nyenyak krn kalo tibra takut ibu knp2 dan hilang nyawanya eh taunya kejadian :(. Sepeninggal ibu naik lg bb, wlpn agak sedikit ngahultar dan sedikit gila udah ada nafsu makan dan tidur nyenyak. Kayanya stay di 50kg itu mayan lama sampe kerja kalo naikpun skitar 2kg an lah..

Sampe akhirnya sekitar tahun 2013-2014 tiba2 merosot jadi 45-46 gt yah. Inget bgt pas wisdua adik tahun 2014 pake dress ngebentuk badan dikomenin sama temen adik "teteh ko skrg kurusan yaah?" laaah aku ngga nyadar dong. Baru aja sadar bahwa bb ku turun dan stuck di 45kg sampe akhirnya ktemu mas pacar 1 tahun kemudian sampe nikah dan hamil akhirnya naik tuh bb tahun 2018 berarti yah.. 9 bulan di 58kg! Perut aja yg buncit, tp ngga gede amat kalo pake baju oversized gt ngga keliatan hamil da wkwkwk.

Pasca melahirkan itungan hari apa dlm 1 bulan mah turun dikit lah palingan 55-56kg. Semenjak ASI mayan lancar disedot mulu sama bayik turun drastis jadi 46kg, hampir kaya pas gadis cuy. Berakhir pas nyapih aja pas nemo 2 thn. Melesaaaaat ngga kira2 lsg 56kg dan stuck disitu, turun jg paling 1kg. Dahlah pasrah, suamiku jg gapernah komen ttg bb ku dr awal pacaran. Eh pernah katanya naikin bb sedikit kasian liatnya asa kurus, itu pas pacaran tp da gmn sulit bgt pdhl makan udah banyak ih..

Yaudah dari tahun 2020-2021 ya nemo 2thn tuh, stuck di 56 aja.. Ngerasa udah berat sih, 2kg lg nyampe bb saat hamil 9 bulan wkwk. Udah gatau lg caranya nurunin bb, krn gamau diet dan mager olga. Yaudah sekiranya dah nyaman sama badan ini cuek aja, celana2 jg udah ngga pada muat. Lingkar dada jg besar, size naik jadi L kadang XL hwhwhw.

Di tahun 2023, tepatnya tengah tahun pas nemo sekolah. Ada kepikiran buat olahraga jalan kaki sekalian biar gerak jg buat anter jemput nemo, hemat ongkos jg tentunya. Mayan jaraknya 1,1k kalo ngitung step skali jalan 2000 langkah. Tak kuduga tak kusangka, kenalan2 tuh sama mama2 ortu murid eeh ada mama runner yg ngajak lari, trus aku buru2 mau deh. 1 kali brainstorm udah lsg rutin tiap seminggu sekali haha. Akutu selalu kabita liat temen2 yg olga kaya yoga, pilates, zumba, poundfit, badminton dan lari. Tp ya kabita hanya sekedar kabita ngga ada aksi. Oiya sempet yoga hamil wlpn minim gerakan ekstrim tp menenangkan bgt.. Mudah2an suatu saat aku bisa yoga lagiiii.

Berarti start bulan agustus tuh lari pertamaku setelah sekian lamanya. Inget bgt dapet 8 keliling track gasibu, dengan pace lambat bgt wkt itu belom donlot strava dong ah wlpn tau aplikasi itu, huawei health jg ternyata ngerecord otomatis selama ini pake hp itu gatau weh hhhhhhhhh.. Sempet jg ikutan Strength Training dari Duraking, sebulanan lebih kayanya ikutan karena suami pgn bgt ikutan, aku yg berubah karakter jd introvert pas udah jadi ibu2 ngga minat ikutan pada akhirnya terbujuk jg sama suami ikutan berdua ktemu komunitas lari dari pemula sampe yg expert lah gt. Seru sihhhh sampe akhirnya aku cedera 2-3minggu semingguan mager bgt buat lari lagi sumpaaaah setelah 2 bulan rutin lari dan ST, suami jd ikut males istrinya cedera tuh.. Akhirnya sebulanan itu kami jd pasutri mager lagi bulan Okt itu. Pas bulan Nov aku paksain keluar dari zona nyaman lg tuh alhamdulillah sedikit2 back on track lah wlpn msh seminggu 1-2x aja tp tiap bulan grafik lari naik terus. Bulan januari aku rapetin seminggu 3x, di weekend nyoba longrun. Berhasil jg alhamdulillah.. Dari sini yg awalnya turun 2kg, lebih rapet lg lari turun lg total 5kg. Pas puasa kemarin turun 1kg lg. Alhasil skrg bb ku di 50kg weeyyyyy sungguh pencapaian yg warbiyasak menurutku seorang yg mager, ngerem mulu dirumah, irt yg hidupnya sungguh boring akhirnya punya suatu pencapaian dan bikin happy! Awalnya ngga kepikiran tuh mau nurunin bb, hanya ingin sehat mengingat umurku diatas 30 thn, less stress jg, hormon endorfin naik apalagi slesei lari ada perasaan puas dan happy. Huhu alhamdulillah proud of my self!

Jadi perjalanan bb naik turun gapernah sampe diet2, wlpn pengen bgt sih sebetulnya ngga sampe yg diet ketat pgnnya yg dimulai dari mengurangi gula aja dulu, wlpn bukan penggemar gula tp tiap minum atau makan yg manis2 ada feeling guiltynya jg haha. Mudah2an kedepannya utk asupan makan bisa sehat jg yahhh.. Duh kapan~ masih suka permicinan jugak!

Akhirnya itu challenge ngga aku posting deh ihhhh.. Taro sini aja yah sambil nulis yg selalu kepanjangan wkwkwk

It is critical to understand that in a closed ecosystem there is a maximum life support for volume of living organisms within that ecosystem.

When maximum volume of total organisms within an ecosystem reaches maximum level (capacity) the vast majority of any species within that ecosystem will die off by starvation, lack of shelter, water, oxygen, and other necessities that the ecosystem can no longer provide for all organisms within the ecosystem.

It has been scientifically demonstrated that when a closed ecosystem reaches maximum population density then organisms across-the-board relying on food, water and other natural resources begin to go through a die off.

Surviving population stagnate to whatever the environment can sustain. populations can no longer grow.
