sorry for yapping about ignacio hes just a freak and i wanna study him. anyways i used to think he was just a paranoid nutjob who didnt like talking to people, but now i think something worse is happening

ignacio can just be an angry old man, sure, but the ways in which he hides himself from the world is more than concerning, especially considering he should feel no need to protect himself, due to wearing the pendant which grants immortality

-he does not allow anyone to enter his house, not even his lawn. hes got a no enter sign, boarded up windows, an unusual looking doorknob, barbed wires surrounding the house, etc

-his house is a boring, empty mess. there is little to no light, and he keeps his necessities (aka weapons) next to the front door at all times

-hes Always prepared for someone entering. it takes little to no time for him to open the door and yell at others to go away. when we do see him enter the house, he doesnt leave the front door. he peers outside while picking up the phone

-he is the only one out of every other cult member without a disguise or costume, who all wear them for particular reasons. mr clown and bob for kidnappings and murder, the thieves for stealing, candy dealer for anonymity. ignacio so far has no reason to don a disguise due to him never leaving the house

-related to this, the only times hes ever left his house is when hes wearing the standard cult robe to burn johns evidence, and when he walked outside WITH A GUN, Just to take out the trash. he should not feel the need to have such protection when barely leaving his house

-when skid and pump bother him about candy, and he gives some to them (which is a whole other story about why he gave in to them tbh), he doesnt go inside to get any. he just conveniently has some in his pocket

ignacio does not want to leave the house, nor let anyone enter. he is extremely careful about this to the point where he allows himself to lose his temper and threaten children. he refuses to leave the house without a way to protect himself, hes guarded his home to an unnecessary degree, and is extremely secretive about his goals, motives, and overall who he is as a person

along with this, there is a fixation on johns family that no one can solve. we understand he needed to burn the evidence, but we dont know why he kept photos of his family. i can only assume ignacio, as well as the rest of the cult, will use whatever knowledge they have of johns family against him, whether that be for blackmail or something worse

and we can determine that johns closest family member is his daughter. he treasures what little he has of her left. we know nothing of her whereabouts, and it is only assumed that she is dead or missing

ignacio wants information on johns family. hes hiding someone in his house. i hope its not who we think it is

Skid and Pump happily walks and sings while holding their box with candy, apparently alone. As they're done with their little song, they giggle, but it was soon interrupted by heavy steps. Bob raises his knife and they now put on grumpier faces, Skid's eyes following the weapon.

"Did you know... the halal method produces more tender in fresh meat?"

Skid holds Pump's hand, while Pump himself raises an eyebrow. Bob very slowly starts to approach.

"Hey!! Aren't you the fat guy who tried to attack us?" Pump asked, pointing at Bob, who stopped his movements.

"Hmph. Shoo! It's spooky month, we need to get more candy!!"

Bob tilts his head to the side, looking slightly amused. With deep giggles, he pulls out a little bag with candy.

"Oh, but ah' can get you candy!"

It makes the kids' eyes open wide in interest, now smiling again. However, when they were about to get closer to grab it, Skid made them not do so. Pump hums in confusion.

Bob's smile turns into a frown, but changes back to a grin very quickly.

"How about... we play hide and seek? And if you win..." He shakes the bag in the air lightly. "...you get more candy!"

The kids look at each other, Skid blinking. It makes Pump smile again.

"Ooh!! Like in horror movies?"

"Indeed."

Skid and Pump exchange glares, then squint their eyes with a smirk.

"So... what do-"

"Close your eyes!" Skid interrupts.

Bob then does just like asked, counting slowly, as the kids run away. They stop for a moment while looking around, before running again when Skid points to a specific spot.

"3..." Bob open his eyes, excited.

The kids approach a "Personal Only" door, staring at it.

"His costume is boring, hehehe!" Pump says, breaking the door with a hammer.

"I bet his sweater stinks."

Both get inside, Bob still counting and approaching, until he finally reaches '10' with the door open.

He starts to search for them inside the slaughterhouse, his steps being the only noise in the room for now. Soon, he starts make cuts on the meats. Skid and Pump are hidden in one of them.

Finding no one, suddenly one of them falls to the ground.

"Oh no!"

Skid dramatically exclaims, but turning around, he's not there, behind the wall at the other room instead. Bob confusingly looks around, hearing his voice again as another dead animal falls.

"Ah, I did it again!"

Skid keeps repeating the same movements, Bob's grin now gone and replaced by an angry face. Suddenly, Pump's hands can be seen pushing a box to the floor, making a loud noise.

With the kids' silhouettes behind the curtains, Bob smiles and laughs, aggressively walking to them and stabbing them multiple times. It was just more meat. The room is empty, just a box written "Chocolomo" dropped on the ground.

The kids' laughter can be heard again, now in another spot. Opening the door without hesitation, there's a bunch of figures similar to them.

Bob starts to laugh both maniacally and out of annoyance, stabbing each one of them. Skid and Pump silently laugh to themselves, hidden in the dark.

"Idiot." And then they start to leave, on their tippy toes.

After all the figures are destroyed and the kids are already gone, Bob stares into the nowhere, his grin looking somewhat forced. Giving two steps back, he feels more of that same texture under his foot, only to read a:

"We won!"

On the floor, using the mess leaved from the destroyed 'dolls' from earlier. Bob groans as he holds his knife tighter, and then it cuts to the next scene.

Spooky month inktober day 1: Skid & Pump alternate costumes

Most of the inktober drawings are going to be doodles unless im really inspired lol

This has also been my first time drawing Skid and Pump without their masks.

Do you think that maybe Pump takes the whole “demons” thing more seriously than Skid because of Susie’s fascination with demons? Like I know his eyes glow when in the presence of anything demonic bc of Eyes but maybe his attentiveness/knowledge is helped from what he hears from his big sister.

HAMMY'S POSTING. Unironically yes!! I do think so!! Funny enough, I wrote a headcanon on this subject some time ago, and I still believe that Moloch has a lot to blame on Susie. I do not have a structured answer for this tho' so I am going to ramble. First things first: Pump can tell people/objects are possessed because of Eyes, yes, you are not wrong there. But here is the kicker?? He does not know he has this power and, instead, believes that this is the norm. That anyone should be able to see possessed things like he does. Like how people that have been born and grown up with undiagnosed colorblindness believe their perception of the world is also everyone else's? Kinda?? I could do the same comparison with other conditions that affect one's eyesight (for the longest time I thought everyone had myopia like I do lmao). That is why he seems so bothered by Skid not "seeing it" like he does, he is just not aware. Okay, going back to the subject at hand, I do legit think that a lot of Pump's quirks can be traced back to his own family, and that especially applies to all the "spooky stuff" he and Skid engage with during their adventures. This is the kind of kid that had little costumes put on and was strolled around town to trick-or-treat with his family when he was just an itty bitty baby, I just know it. Hell, Mr. Wonder was the pumpkin kid back when he was a kid so, yeah, it has to run in the family one way or another. By that logic alone, Pump knows everything he should know about demons from Susie, yes. And I do think he might be able to tell some of the tell-tale signs of possession even without Eyes' help, yes. I'm sure Susie has shared a lot of her knowledge with him and it has made an impact on him SO MUCH that he has to show it whenever he can. Problem is: he is a seven-year-old with supernatural perception powers. He can put her knowledge into practice but it does not work the same as if a normal person were to use it. Demons can turn their heads, but he could not tell Moloch was possessing somebody, and that is why Dexter died. Something, something, "hubris"; first time I use that word, but I think it fits. So it is a double-edged sword?? Skid and Pump summoned a demon with the Ouija Board first try, but I'm sure Susie has tried countless times and has never successfully got in contact with any, finding it safe to teach her brother how to use the thing because, well, nothing has ever come out of it. For her, demons are likely just a fascination that is never going to become real (probably like how the rest of their family sees it too) but, oh, for her brother they are very real. And SM7 is going to be very funny. I am sure she would have never taught her brother anything had she actually come across a demon herself and knew the risks. If she knew, she would have made sure they never summoned Moloch.

TWS FOR NEGLECT, ABUSE, DARK STUFF IN GENERAL.

Haven't talked about The Saturated AU (basically like an opposite au, or my own takes on how the characters would be as opposites) in a bit so here's this!

The Saturated AU like I said is kind of an opposite AU, but there also might be slightly different lore (I mean the sky is literally red in this AU for crying out loud of course there's something going on/lh).

Skid in this AU is very bitter and low energy, and also somewhat rude. But despite acting all edgy—he is just a kid deep down and tries to force himself to act more mature because of Lila who is a total ass in this AU. Skid doesn't even like Halloween that much, but he only wears his costume because his dad used to absolutely love that holiday and he wants to remember him by something. Skid and Lila don't have a good relationship at all here, but I'll dive into that for another post. Skids dad also didn't die here, but he did vanish and no one knows if he's still alive or not. Either way, Lila only started to act like a REALLLL asshat to Skid once his dad died.

Pump on the other hand is purposefully neglected by his parents who want nothing to do with him or his sister. And his grandfather is also quite stern, but does care about his grandkids even if he has a bit of an odd way of showing it—and he also tends to smoke or read the news rather than sleep here. Pump is a little more edgy than Skid and is somewhat chaotic, and he also for some reason really hates fire here and gets hysterically frightened when he sees it.

Radford is very low energy and bored most of the time, and absolutely hates movies, which makes it more ironic that he works at a theater. He also just has the movie glasses on regardless because it's some 'stupid gift someone left him a long time ago' (It's a gift Hope left before she vanished and one he decided to keep regardless of how dumb he found it since it's the only thing left from her to remember her by). He's more like frenemies with Kevin in this AU and has a bit of a Spongebob-Squidward type dynamic with him. But even with how rude he kind of is to Kevin here, he does care for him even if he tries to act like he doesn't. He's also kind of frenemies with Rick here too?? But he gets more irritated with him than he does with Kevin. Radford also doesn't help Kevin at all during HS cuz he's a dick, but he does watch Kevin work and just kinda hangs out there since he 'has a break from having to babysit his brother and doesn't wanna waste it'. He and Robert also don't have the best relationship here either, but do care for one another in their own way—they just fight a lot and tend to not wanna be around eachother cuz of miscommunications on both ends.

Kevin is exactly like SpongeBob in this AU lmao. He's very energetic, seemingly always happy, very naive, and is eerily calm when it comes to situations where the kids bring him trouble. The dynamic he has with the kids is completely reversed here. And the kids are constantly irritated with Kevin (but don't hate him no matter how much they act like it) and bring him trouble—while he thinks the kids and him have a good relationship and unknowingly just brings whatever trouble they got into right back to them. He's easily impressed—but can also be kinda shallow without realizing and experiences more sympathy for other people than he does empathy. And he's also protected the kids or saved them from danger without meaning to plenty of times.

And finally—Gregor is.. a bit of a douche in this au if I'm being honest lol. He's less strict with the kids, but still tries to teach them things and is kinda more relaxed about stuff. He's less experienced in exorcisms and only manages to defeat Moloch out of sheer luck during HS. And he's amused very easily and is probably what a priest shouldn't be. He's kinda disconnected from other people as well. And struggles with empathy and other stuff. With Skid and Pump here however, he just decided to help them upon seeing how rude they were—but also just decided he'd follow them around to tell them a bunch of things and get them into trouble on purpose for his own amusement, and because he believed they deserved it for being so rude to him earlier. So yes, he is in fact beefing with children. And he also roasts the fuck out of Lila at the end of HS.

-The love of fire is genetic.Ignacio is his uncle from his mothers side(Garcia is too,cause Garcia and Ignacio are brothers to me,so they'd be Pump's mothers brothers),he is unaware of that though

-He likes listening to Lemon Demon and Oingo Boingo

-His favorite movie is Nightmare before christmas and a close second would be Hocus Pocus.He'd also enjoy all the the Halloween based disney channel original movies

-He's 10 nearly 11 years old

-Lila only calls him son because he's trans and she's just trying to be supportive as he socially transitions before he can medically transition cause he's too young to do so(also before anyone says anything i knew i was trans when i was 10,and alot of other people have then and before that,so it wouldnt be out of the question for that to be a possiblity)

-He has a half brother(from his father's side),which is Kevin,neither Skid or Kevin are aware of that though -His dad used to call him Star or Starling,or a nickname along those lines when he was still alive

-Skid also enjoys lemon demon but he very much perfers any music Danny Elfman has done(so he also likes oingo boingo)

-His favorite animal are Glass frogs or horeshoe crabs

-His favorite movie is Halloween or nightmare in elm street

-The reason they both are constantly wearing there costumes is a way to cope with the absence of their respective parents,they last spent october with halloween with them before they werent their anymore ,and thsoe were the last costumes they wore

-They've been close since they were very young,basically since they met.

-Skid was the first one to get obbesed with the spooky season and they he got pump obessed with it soon after,its been that way for years

-They have stuff that remind them of each other around the house,for example skid has pumpkin socks,and pump has skeleton gloves and whatnot

-Pump since he's more likely than not fairly wealthy buys skid gifts constantly(<- i saw this one somewhere before) and skid feels like he needs to give something back in return so he draws stuff for pump :>

Dude do not get me STARTED on the Soft boys

I get that their purpose is to serve as a little breather (until Monster, anyway), but I feel like there could have been more done with that? Like dude this is one of the few mods that even ALLUDES to Frank, it would have been really unique (especially for the time) if Ben and Pico actually got to meet him; it'd even fit into the story because they're trying to go somewhere and "Frank lets us ride in his van all the time, we will ask him for you!"

Also I have just found out that Father Fairest's first name is actually Frank so uh. That could be fun (/s) for Ben

(also I feel like whatever SM Frank is doing in this universe he'd sympathize with both Ben's and Pico's plights, but that's besides the point)

Also just. I say this with a heavy heart but I do not like their designs. I get what they were going for but it feels... kind of cluttered? I think they would have looked better without their costumes on, give Pump some face stickers too to make up him not having spots

If anything I feel like leaning into that "creative" angle would have made for better designs, show them covered in paint and glitter or something because they're trying to make things, maybe even a little dirt because they love to explore just as much as the OG Spookeez, but their clothes show stains way more because they're not pure black

OH AND ON THAT-

It's just kind of a personal gripe but I wish their colors were closer to the originals too. Ben, Pico, and Grace all have the same color schemes as their original counterparts, just muted/pastel with a few changes, but instead of pastel purples and oranges Skid and Pump have completely different colors. I do like how the color of Skid's clothes mirror Pump and vice versa, but it's just weird looking at those three and then these two

Also again a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things but instead of removing the mic entirely they should have had a toy microphone, it still fits with their theme AND the context that they like Father Fairest's music

Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, I get all that… before I even played the mod I just thought “Well their designs need work but hopefully their character is good.” Like dude they don’t even get an original song. I like the way they’re introduced but other than that they have nothing going for them.

I hadn’t even considered the whole Frank thing, that would’ve been nice.

I have such weird opinions on their designs; I think my biggest issue with them is that they don’t seem coherent. Why would Pump wear blue? Why do they look like they’re wearing jumpsuits? Are they? Why would they be? And yeah how are they that clean? And where’s the spookyness in it? I think about this for a lot of Skid designs specifically, because I feel like you wouldn’t know he was a skeleton if you didn’t already know what he came from, which is fine for all of us, but I feel like it doesn’t make sense in universe.

I was planning on redesigning them when I finally played the mod, but every time I think about redesigning/stylizing a character, I realize it goes against the way I come up with stories and stuff. For the Soft Spookeez specifically, every bit of dislike I may have for them gets added to whatever story I have in mind. Like oh, one finds their appearance underwhelming and annoying? So does every other Skid and Pump. I can’t get any personality from them? Their character is now that they have no character; everyone else is baffled that they came out of the Soft mod and are completely trauma-free. So on and so forth, help I don’t remember how to stylize.

Wait yeah them having a toy mic would be nice; I find them feeling weirdly detached without it.

I just had a realization. You know who would be a great Akuma target? Lucky!

The poor kid suffers misfortune at every turn and I imagine he definitely hasn't been left unscathed by the Akuma attacks. His power could be either stealing or replacing luck so he ends up as the luckiest person in town while everyone else gets a taste of the bad luck he's had to deal with

In particular I imagine he'd take the luck of Frank (kidnapped him at least once), Skid and Pump (the current luckiest people in town, plus Pump stole his lollipop), and of course, Gregor for throwing boiling water on him during Halloween.

Honestly it'd be fun to see Gregor trying to deal with Lucky while also barely being able to take two steps without something bad happening to him -- also the whole thing with Gregor kind of contributing to Lucky's akumatization in the first place

Oh oh oh! And, if Lucky's replacing luck, maybe he could also give good luck to other people in town that suffer misfortune, like Kevin and Costume Guy!

OMG I DID THINK OF LUCKY- I just didn’t feel like doing him until now for some reason

I love the idea of him stealing people’s luck, just imagine everyone barely being able to stand on their own two feet-

But I also like the idea of him giving misfortune people good luck, so I think I’m gonna combine the ideas heh

a Au where during a dangerous adventure Pump accidentally fell off a cliff (they were "playing tag") with a monster, and pump wasn't watching. He did not make it.. Due to his grief he started to wear pump's head, and gloves. (as a odd form of comfort) He's selectively mute, and is never hyped for holloween. Or loving the "Spooky-month(s)" Usually staying in their room. he also hates exploring, adventuring and scary things in general since pump's death ruined it for him, and it'd never be the same without his best friend

The does not wear a skeleton costume anymore, but however they wear a onesie due to being inside their room. The mouth is a mix between Pump and skids usually never smiling only small meek forced smiles will come from skipy. The color palette is more muted and softer due to the less excited and adventuring type. The X in their pupils represent pump's death while still wearing pump's mask. ------------------------ Personality: Selectively-Mute, Introvert, Scaredy-cat, Shy, Home-kept, ""Lazy"" Age: 12 Pronouns: He/they Likes: Games, sleeping, bed, Mircwave-able food (Mainly hotpockets).. Head tilted to the side, skepticism dyeing his voice as he spoke. ❝ I thought the point of school was to wanna leave, not come in. ❞ That... was not the best thing to say within the principal's vicinity. Yet again, he might even take it as a compliment.

In his defense, nobody had batted an eye at Skid and him coming to school in costume before. And they had done it several times already! Likely because their teacher had given up trying at that point.

And how could they not do the same during that particular week? Easter was approaching, after all! The holiday that centers around some guy dying and coming back to life, just like a zombie! That was as spooky as it could get without it being Spooky Month. Therefore, without needing to say it again: the mask was not coming off.

❝ Oh! ❞ Look at that wide smile, into that mask's completely-pitch-black eye sockets... ❝ Okay! That's less time. ❞ Pump knew no fear. ❝ I wanna know what happens at zero! ❞ Or, perhaps, he was simply completely oblivious to the consequences that came with confronting the hot-headed school principal head on.

Anyone else would have realized the sheer aggression that was being projected his way. But not this seven-year-old, oh no. Crazy smiles, angry smiles, they were all smiles at the end of the day! And so they were very infectious. He really was that scatterbrained.

He stares at the little goober, trying to discern whether this is some tongue-in-the-cheek backtalk, or if he really is that stupid. Either way, this isn't how the script is meant to go. Is the kid missing his lesson? Yes.

But this is about a show of strength. He lets this Halloween-hoodlum run around in a mask, droves will follow him. This joyful little display has got to be nipped in the bud, right here, right now!

"There's the usual academic bad, and then there's my version of bad."

He's used to people being afraid of him on principle. On the surface, Krupp isn't intimidating even if he's a big guy - it's usually all in the expression. He radiates rage.

Krupp inhales through his nose and sports s big, fake, teeth-grinding grin as he practically hisses, stapling his hands together,

"We don't wear hats indoors, and we don't wear masks! If we allowed that then anybody could waltz in!"

An equally mirthless, ugly laugh is thrown in, and he places his hands on his hips,

"Oh, you aren't getting a count to ten, little mister. You now get to the count of three." Then it's office, then it's phone-call, then it's whatever punishment he sees fit.

"One."
