It should be mandatory for all Bollywood hits to have an Epilogue or at least a reference in the director's next movie about what the characters from the previous movie are upto years after the events of the movie.

Like I wanna know how Aditya Kashyap and Geet are doing 15 years into their marriage and if they ended up buying a house in the hills. I wanna know how Prem and Jenny from Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani are doing and if Prem made her VP of the Happy Club. I wanna know if Aisha and Sid from Wake Up Sid! ended up marrying and if she published her own book with his photography on its cover. If Aditi and Jai from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na have kids who they teach the steps of Pappu Can't Dance? If Bittu and Roshan from Delhi-6 got married and settled down in the same villa Roshan’s grandma brought him to? If Kavya and Humpty Sharma moved to the US eventually and opened their own wedding gown/lehenga shop. What country Naina and Bunny from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani are currently in. Did Om Kapoor end up marrying Sandy after Om Shanti Om? Or does he visit the burned site to meet Shanti everyday? So many questions.

I finally understood why ranveer singh was chosen to play rocky in rocky aur rani ki prem kahani. It's because nobody could have played a west delhi boy who is hot,funny, irritating, cute and cringe at the same time. Ranveer singh has slayed his individual role. Full marks to being rocky randhawa but negative marks for his chemistry with alia. Their chemistry was better off playing safeena and murad in gully boy. Alia bhatt also has played the role of rani very well. Kudos to her bengali accent. But again there's absolutely no chemistry. RRPK is a must watch. Its 3 hours of proper bollywood kjo style entertainment. Don't know about the actors making a come back but karan johar has definitely made a come back. If you have grown up loving DDLJ, K3G, KKHH, then the karan johar fan in you will be mighty pleased.

I would have preferred

Ranveer-Anushka, Alia-Varun, Ranveer-deepika, Alia-Sid to make this movie a 10/10.

hello! yesterday you mentioned growing up with Bollywood films, and I wondered is there one you'd recommend for someone new to them? I'm very curious, but I don't really know where to begin, and I'd appreciate a reccomendation from someone familiar with them :3

oh god idek where to start cuz they’ve always been a part of my life. i guess a good beginner movie is Lagaan? It’s basically an underdog sports movie with great music. Maybe Devdas? Jab We Met? I’m so bad at this cuz bollywood films have certain cultural sensibilities that can be hard for a non-desi viewer to get. So i’ll just list off some of my fave bollywood films:

Awaara, Mughal-e-Azam, Sholay, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kal ho na ho, Dil Se, Dil Chahta Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Devdas, Om Shaanti Om, Chakde India, Taare Zameen Par, Koi Mil Gaya, Dhamal, Welcome, Jab We Met, Swades, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Rab Ne Banadi Jodi, Band Baaja Baaraat, 3 Idiots, Wake Up Sid, Highway, RamLeela, Piku, Gangs of Wasseypur, Zindagi Na Millegi Dobara, Lunchbox, Dangal… and ofc Lagaan and Devdas too.

I’m missing a lot probably and this is very 2000s centric lol. Remember Bollywood just refers to Hindi Cinema based in Mumbai and it barely scratches the surface of Indian Cinema.

Outside, zombie movie na hindi ko inasahang 90% could affect me psychologically.

After ng shift ko today, akala ko makakapag movie in peace ako. Pucha pero bakit personal yung atake? Oo alam naming madami dami tayong psycho dito, pero para gawing movie tangina para kong pinapanood yung sarili ko. Like buong movie, iniintindi ko si Sid kasi alam ko kung bakit siya naging ganun katigas at all what he is - is a product of his trauma from the past. Even his own family could not save him, actually even the wife is not willing to save him anymore. He was a good father that was very evident, but on the other hand, he's dealing with his trauma.. and God knows how hard it is to live while you have all that insecurities and fear in your head. It is not easy! Isipin mo nalang infected siya, pero not physically but mentally and emotionally. Hindi lahat ng sakit, physical - we should be aware of it. This kind of mind infection is deadly too.. Anyone could take his/her own life para lang hindi makaapekto sa ibang tao. That's the hard reality, and it not very acceptable to all people. Akala nila pag masama yung ugali, it's just because masama ka talaga. They automatically despise you. Hindi nila alam na we also need help to calm our thoughts down, and not to do those things that could hurt.

Though I understand the wife and kids' reason to leave, but it's just so sad that after Sid gave his best to protect and provide for the family, in the end, hindi padin pala magiging sapat. Nakakainggit yung mga taong walang trauma noh? They'll just casually say that Sid is a psycho and that Sid is dangerous. Yes I agree but how I wish there are ways to help these people, get them diagnosed and have a support system.

This is just my take.
