chrisbot can eat normal food!! However he cant cook. Allen and Nori both can cook and cook a variety of foods for him!!! he likes to help by setting the table or sometihng but he cant actually cook he doesnt have that ability

as for favorites...chrisbot likes mac n cheese a lot bc its simple and yummy

Emotions are finicky things. Sometimes, it’s really easy to pull someone out of a rut with enough rope, and sometimes there’s only enough strength to get halfway out of the ditch they fall into...For me, it’s kinda both. Right now, I wanted nothing more than to dig an even deeper ditch than I was already in, but it didn’t seem that was going to be what happened. Thank goodness, because - well, in the long run that’s NOT what I really wanted.

I was flopped onto a couch when the parade started, although it started softly. An ivory-haired pup peeked into the room, knocking lightly on the doorway as if to ask permission to come in. “U-um, Chris? Dinner’s almost ready...W-will you be joining us?”

With my head buried in a pillow, I lifted my hand and gave a thumbs up. Allen was not satisfied with this answer, and could instantly smell something amiss by the fact I was not openly waiting for food to be finished. In fact, I didn’t feel very hungry at all. Allen frowned, and walked over. They gently brushed my hair with their fingers.

“...You’re not sick, are you? I-I didn’t think robots could get sick…Should I make you some soup? M-maybe your stomach isn’t up for a big meal…”

“No, I’m fine…”

Allen’s frown became more pronounced, and I was not convincing them with my increasingly shaky voice that I was anywhere near fine. They pet my head a little longer, and then left the room...But before I could even think they were leaving me to deal with things alone, I would hear some sort of dragging sound. Not anything super loud or disruptive, but enough for me to lift my head and...There was Allen! Pulling a HUGE quilt. They proceeded to lay it over me.

“What are you -” I began, but was quickly silenced by Allen wiggling into the blanket with me. They smiled at me, giving me a soft kiss and then burying their face against me. They were pretty small, so they fit fine with me on the couch. I blinked, blushing...A feature I actually didn’t know I had until recently, fun fact.

“....Chris, we’re here for you…Y-you know that, right?” Allen’s voice was gentle...Sweet. “You’re not alone…”

“...I know,” I sighed, feeling...quite a bit teary. But this was nice. Still...It wasn’t complete...And after some time I smiled slightly at Allen. “...Do you think we can get Nori in here for this?”

“In here for what?” Speak of the Panda, he shall arrive. He had a tray with three steaks on it - one rare for Allen, medium-rare for himself, and for me...Well, I didn’t give a single care about consistency of my meat, so it was probably medium rare for me too. Fine as long as it's cooked. “Oh.” Anyway, his question was answered.

Allen and I sat up, but the blanket remained wrapped around us - and soon Nori too, as he sat down on the opposite end of me from Allen. We would eat, and then cuddle....Sounded like an ideal night to me. And honestly...What more could I have asked for to be dragged out of the ditch I had trapped myself in?

tbh my insert doesnt have much affect bc i know if i planned chrisbot too much id want to make him canon and theres just no way to fit him reasonably into canon. however either way he’s a bit of a third wheel no matter how u look at it bc edgar is married and nori and allen is the otp

but i dont mind!! chrisbot just chills in a poly ship and is loved all the same in an au...also i had 0 idea i was gonna f/o edgar or nori. in fact i think i kinned nori at one point but now hes a mans of mine so u know
