pokemon team ideas:
the best pokemon to make lookalike furniture out of (e.g., the easy one of "snorlax beanbag chair")
the best pokemon to throw off your opponent; "but they're so cute!" [team murders opponents' pokemon]
a pokemon team for a gym in a decommissioned nuclear power plant
pokemon team of JUST "that is a man" pokemon that you don't immediately hate because of uncanny valley (challenge rating: near impossible)
a team of pokemon whose colors/designs are just Slightly Wrong but if improved would be great
a team of pokemon where the shinies are infinitely better than the regular forms. caveat: at least 3 pokemon Cannot just be your favorites. lol
a team of pokemon where their designs make no evolutionary or biological sense given their referents and environments.
a team of GIANT pokemon that would not hurt you (or not you, just opponents, whichever)
a team of teeny tiny pokemon that would KILL you (or not you, just opponents, whichever)
a team for a gym in a bustling street market
a team for an elite four/champions road member with the aesthetic and narrative of a union organizer (throughout the game they create some kind of union among trainers to overthrow the villains or something; broad possibilities for aesthetic available here, but that's their journey and vibe)
the best pokemon to make lookalike furniture out of (e.g., the easy one of "snorlax beanbag chair"):
it's just four bean bag chairs a coat rack and a table
the best pokemon to throw off your opponent; "but they're so cute!" [team murders opponents' pokemon]
here come the murder babies
a pokemon team for a gym in a decommissioned nuclear power plant
had to get my favorite nido in there and I think at this point I'm contractually obligated to put toxapex in every poison type team I make
pokemon team of JUST "that is a man" pokemon that you don't immediately hate because of uncanny valley (challenge rating: near impossible)
bruh.
this is the best I can do
a team of pokemon whose colors/designs are just Slightly Wrong but if improved would be great
folks these are all personal opinion but I am very opinionated. and I will explain myself. let's go
flaaffy: I understand that the line is meant to represent a sheep being sheared but it makes me uncomfortable that it stands up at the same moment it loses its pants. please either put it back on the ground or start shearing it from a different place. thank u
umbreon: three things- 1) get rid of the pupils. it's the only eeveelution with black pupils and I like them much better without 2) the yellow circles look so unnatural to me. the rings around the tail and ears are fine tho. get rid of the ones on the legs, fill in the one on the forehead to make it a spot (it even evokes the moon more that way) 3) for me this is too many colors for such a simple litte guy. either make the eyes yellow to match the markings, or make the markings red to match the eyes (I think the yellow could be regular and the red could be the shiny. blood moon. sick)
skitty: it's very cute, it reminds me of a neopet and I like that. but the facial features just don't look real to me. make em look a little less drawn on and I'd like it
female jellicent: pretty much the same issue, the eyelashes look painted on. why are they 2 dimensional
east sea gastrodon: for context for everyone else we were just talking about this last night. I just don't think the color scheme works as well as the west sea gastrodon. make the green a bit darker and cooler, make the blue quite a bit lighter, and then make the yellow accents a cool color so it's more cohesive (I think purple would be cool). I still like him tho it's still gastrodon at the end of the day. but I would never ever choose it over the west sea gastrodon
gorebyss: the clamshell bra. get rid of it
aaaaaand I've hit image limit I'll have to continue in a reblog

Fabric for Allodynia
Someone asked me once that if clothes hurt so much, why did I wear them when I didn't need to. Which is when I had to explain that air hurts and clothing, if it doesn't hurt, protects the skin from the painful air. The hard part is getting the right clothes.
Much like with skincare, the clothes that tend to work the best for me are natural fabrics. Much commerically made clothing contains microplastics that, with washes, tend to stiffen and become scratchy. These clothes are also often stitched with thread run with plastics for durability, but they have the same effect. I had a mother whose son is autistic ask me about why her son would wear clothes for a few washes and then suddenly complain that they hurt and I explained it was most likely that his seams were stiffening and can become unbearable. I recommended she oversew his seams with a soft, natural fabric.
I'm going to walk through a few things I have learned that work for me. I will say again that there is a lot of privlege wrapped up in these options in that I can afford these options. If you want to try this but find it outside your budget, I recommend picking one piece at a time, the ones you'll wear the most. That's how I built during the 10 years I had only disability to live on.
Silk
Silk is an amazing fabric for anyone who deals with skin issues but also for those with temperature regulation issues *raises hand*. Silk can be processed in a lot of different ways and those final dispositions touch the skin very differently. Raw silk, for example, is actually very uncomfortable for me because it has a rough finish. If you can go to a fabric store and touch fabrics to get a feel for the differences, do so and take notes.
The process for making silk washable has been expanded which makes it much more reasonable. Silk is a very tough fabric so it holds up well and is worth the investment if you can afford the outlay.
Silk, like most plant products, has no flexibility unless blended (and I try to avoid non-natural blends) so always pay attention to size and cut. I tend towards looser silk clothes because of this.
There are legitimate environmental concerns with silk (because the process kills the silkworms and the processing of the fiber can cause waste that is problematic if not properly managed). But because it lasts so long, I try to be as conscious as I can about purchasing and wearing things for their full life. And it makes my skin less angry.
Bamboo
This is my go-to fabric for most things. My pajamas are bamboo (mostly from Sandmaiden Sleepwear) and my yoga wear is bamboo (Freak LeChic). Bamboo breathes, it's soft, it washes well. I can wear it directly against my skin because it holds well. It can be dyed any color so you get range.
Plant fibers don't have memory, so they grow with wear, which is fine but good to be aware of. Bamboo does have stretch because of the process required to make bamboo wearable. And that process is where we run into the issue with bamboo. Again...it's environmental.
As a plant, bamboo is amazing - it grows all over the place and it grows fast with minimal work. But the fiber is stiff - think jute. The chemical process that makes it soft and flowing produces about 50% pure waste, which goes into the environment. This is the viscous process and applied to most bamboo fabric.
There are versions of processing that are harm neutral, but less common and more expensive. Keep an eye out.
Wool and Alpaca
Most people think wool and think scratchy but merino wool is incredibly soft. It has memory and stretch, it can be washed (if treated - we call it superwash in the fiber world), and dyed with natural or chemical dyes. It also breathes beautifully, which can make it an all weather fiber depending on how heavy the garment is. It's renewable for the entire life of the animal and the shearing process doesn't harm the sheepies - in fact, sheep that are not shorn regularly are under enormous strain. Wool has been the go-to fiber for clothing and textiles a very, very long time and there's a reason.
Alpaca is also an animal fiber, from the very soft and very pleasant alpaca. It doesn't have the same memory as wool, but it has more than plant fibers. It's heavenly and very warm. Like wool, it's renewable the lifetime of the animal and alpacas can live happy herd lives in areas untenable for sheep, like the deserts of Arizona.
I have recently found joy in compression socks when my feet and legs are hurting or for travel where the pressure plays havoc with my legs. The one from Pacas have been really great and held up well with washing and wear.
A Few More Shoutouts
Tencel (Lyocell) - this is actually a really cool fabric. Lyocell is a process, Tencel is a brand (there are others). The proces makes plant fibers soft, like viscouse, but without the waste and the really bad product. I'm trying to replace some of the above with those as I find them.
Cotton - I love cotton when it's good cotton. Soft and light and lordy can it stand up. The biggest challenge is that if you can't lay hands on it, it's hard to know what you're getting until you get it because there are so many qualities and weaves and cuts of cotton. 100% cotton should be soft to the touch and durable. Cotton can be water hungry so look for offsets and sustainable practices called out. I like the cotton items from pact and can speak highly of the tenacity of their t-shirts.

I saw another one of those extremist vegan posts again- y'know, the ones where they scream about sheep-shearing involving slaughter and honey-gathering killing/starving bees and I realized that it's the same kind of aggressively ignorant crusaderism as the people who scream that liking "immoral" fiction means you're a monster.
Like, the truth is RIGHT THERE. It would only take a 30 second google search to find out that shearing doesn't hurt sheep and that writing underage smutfic doesn't make you a pedophile.
Hell, all they'd need to do is actually LISTEN to the people who try to explain reality to them. But they don't care. It isn't REALLY about saving the animals or protecting kids, it's about using perceived moral purity as an excuse to attack and shame others.
What was it Terry Pratchett said? The truth is out there, but lies are inside your head.

hey sorry but idk much abt the topic, could you elaborate on the wool and honey being touted as ethically flawless thing? good faith i swear :(
the general thing to internalize about any discussion surrounding this is that if a product can be produced cheaper using exploitation, it will, and this is especially true of animal products, as animals can't form unions, demand better conditions, etc.
what i'm talking about when i say that is posts like the one that's being responded to here https://vegspoblr.tumblr.com/post/712252398952906752/and-it-doesnt-shed-microplastics
note the insistence that vegans "need" to support a less, but ultimately still, cruel version of the thing they're against; not that there are concessions that have to be made, but that people who morally object to a practice are obligated to support it, because of the (often uninformed, surface-level) reasons they give, which exist in a world outside of profit motive, wherein farmers will indefinitely keep animals that don't produce any profit for them.
having issues with veganism isn't a new concept or even wholly unfair (as a vegan of five years myself, i've come across plenty of people that i feel are overzealous to the point of being ignorant), but this mindset often comes from people who feel that they need to be the one to defend animal agriculture, one of the most powerful and environmentally destructive industries on the planet, from the mean vegans who are saying that it's not really a good thing to treat animals as property, and that they're being the one to debunk veganism, when in reality they're rehashing arguments that have been had over and over, because many people want to also be the one, but have never actually... really spoken to a vegan. their concept of vegans comes from the hypothetical people being debunked, who don't know the first thing about animal agriculture, when in reality they're often parroting propaganda to people who have worked in, or at least seen the insides of, the industry.
as far as the example post itself, they provided some sources, but here's a more comprehensive page; it has a section specifically to address honey farming, as well as wool being under "animals as clothing" https://acti-veg.com/resources/sources/animal-welfare/
many of the ethical issues surrounding sheep farming can be mitigated with proper care, as well as transitioning to sheep that can survive on their own without regular shearing, but even in theory, that doesn't change that these sheep are universally killed well before the end of their natural life, and many of these idealistic changes simply cannot happen on any scale that's sustainable for our current consumption levels.
it's a similar situation with honey; i'm sure you could harvest honey in small quantities without hurting the bees in any way, but that idealism isn't the case, and it doesn't change some of the other issues with honeybee farming, such as out-competing native bees; honeybees are not the ones that need saving, they actually drive out solitary and native bees, who are not "useful" to humans.
and this isn't me saying "you have to give up wool and honey", although i would encourage it, if it's within your means. it's more, next time you see a post saying "hey vegans, listen up. x animal product is actually good", consider who is benefiting from hearing this - is it reinforcing something you already believe? have you thought about why you believe that? does it make sense that a specific product produced under capitalism would be ethical, and if not, why is this person defending it so strongly? does the post stereotype vegans? (in general, if it portrays agave or plastic as the only viable alternatives to honey or wool, respectively, the answer is yes) is this stereotype justified? (for example, have you ever met someone who believes that wool is bad but plastic is not? do you know anyone who uses agave instead of honey? i don't, and i know plenty of vegans) if the answer to any of these gives you the impression that something is not quite right (including on this post! i'm just some guy on the internet, i don't have all the answers), then it's a cue that maybe the person is responding to a guy that they made up - and if you have an idea of what you're arguing against, you don't have to make up guys.
this post got very long so i'm gonna leave it here. i hope that thoroughly answered your question lol
#animal death /#animal abuse /#i tend to get verbose on this topic because of the people mentioned in the post#if you say anything as a vegan on the internet you get taken in the worst possible faith

Questions About Veganism
I got some questions for vegans & vegetarians in-general.
I've always believed that humans are just as much a part of the ecosystem as any other animal. That everything has a place, so that must mean that we have one too.
However, biology dictates that that place is as an omnivorous predator. So, wouldn't not playing that part cause more damage than playing it? Like, for instance, when they killed all the wolves in Yellowstone & that lead to deer or moose overpopulation, which caused them to overeat & all kinds of environmental problems such as landslides as a result of there not being enough plantlife to feed all the herbivores. So, obviously, meat eaters are important to the environment, right? They keep herbivores from overeating.
Also, theoretically, you should eat a well-balanced diet that's suited to your biological needs. Example, modern pandas evolved from vicious carnivorous bears that primarily ate meat, but something happened in their environment where their primary food source was depleted & in order to survive, they began to feed on bamboo, eventually resulting in the fat, lazy puffs of fur that have a difficult time reproducing that we know now. However, the thing is that pandas' guts are ill-equipped for digesting plant matter & it isn't like they stopped eating meat altogether. I've read that they'll sometimes snatch up small animals & eat them if they can, so it certainly isn't some moral choice.
Thing is, if that's the case & we are also just animals ourselves, then why is it that it's perfectly fine for other animals to eat other animals, but it isn't okay for humans, as animals, to eat animals? Not to mention the fact that quite a few animals eat their own kind. Even infants of their own kind. Hell, herbivores can be shitheads.
Did you know that some sheep will trample orphaned lambs to death when a farmer tries to get them to adopt?
And did you know that unless a herbivore is obligate, they're still likely to eat meat, sometimes not even when necessary? Herbivores are only as vegetarian as their options.
Animals are no better than us.
Now, I'm not saying this against the lifestyle choices that people have made, I just don't completely understand it & that makes me curious is all.
Also, why against eating dairy & eggs? Like, so long as the farm is cruelty-free & free range & no, like, chemicals or anything & they only sell unfertilized eggs, dairy & eggs don't really seem to hurt the animals as far as I can see.
And what about sheep? Shearing isn't painful & if their wool is left to grow, they could die of heat stroke in the summer & they could even get mold or wool maggots.
And not to mention, there's no possible way to stop producing dairy & eggs without it resulting in the extinction of cows. And once they do die off, what would ya'll suggest be done about the meat?
And now that I think about it, shouldn't there be a way to induce lactation in cows without getting them pregnant? I mean, we've figured out how to do it in women, so logically there should be a way to do it in cows. That way, no more excessive breeding or the slaughter of infantile bovine & we still get to keep real dairy.
For that matter, what about severely invasive species such as lionfish? Those little shitheads are destroying ocean habitats! Do we just let them keep killing sea life until the ocean is nothing more than an aquatic desert??
Then whose got the moral high-ground? Those who did their best to prevent it by killing as many lionfish as possible & then eating them? Or the vegans who did everything in their power to stop them, thus allowing the destruction of entire habitats just so they could say that they saved a few even if it resulted in the permanent collapse of entire ecosystems & the deaths of thousands, possibly millions more?
As for wanting to cause just a little less pain... The sad truth of the matter is that not eating animals actually doesn't prevent pain. In some situations, an animal that might've been killed quickly with as little pain as possible, might instead be ripped apart by other animals.
Did you know that many animals will just start eating their prey before their even dead?
If there's one thing you can say about humans, most of us prefer our food entirely dead before we eat them & we, just as a species, tend to try to make death as quick & painless of a transition as possible.
For that matter, what's the consensus on roadkill vegans & fallen fruitarians? Roadkill vegans are basically vegans that eat meat provided they died by means other than being killed by humans. And fallen fruitarians are those who only eat fruit that's fallen off the vine on its own. So, no soy, no roots, none of that.
I also recall a French story about a wolf named Bobtail, I believe, & how Paris was seiged by wolves, but I can't remember the full story atm.
Something else of interest is that the big thing is not wanting to cause harm.
But, like, how long until there comes a type of vegan that won't even eat vegetables because they too were once alive? I know that that's kind of catastrophizing, but it makes me wonder. It just seems like a slippery slope.
I mean, we already seem to be heading in that direction as I've recently heard rumors that plants can communicate & react to pain.
Ya'll heard of fallen fruititarians? Fallen fruititarians (not the official name) are those who only eat fruit that's already fallen off the vine on its own.
So... what then?
What if it's true? What if plants can feel plain, even if it isn't the same sort of pain that we do? Injury is still injury. And the plants still react to said injuries. And if it turns out that they can communicate?
Well, how long until things slip further?
At what point does it come down to survival?
No hate, just curious & honestly very incredulous.

I see that vegans in the tags and replies feel attacked and have automatically assumed this is a bad-faith argument in favor of like, fucking factory farming, and not the fact that we're LITERALLY throwing animal hides and furs in landfills! Why don't we use them so people have warm, durable clothes! It's a waste! It's unethical!
Or, you know, sheep. What's wrong with keeping wool sheep? They live somewhere protected from predators and hunger and dangerous elements and in exchange we give them a haircut once a year- a haircut they NEED to be healthy.
Wool is durable, stays warm even when wet, and doesn't shed microplastics into the environment. Shearing doesn't hurt the sheep any more than cutting your dog's nails does. Yes, some of them don't like it. Yes, it may (or may not!) be briefly stressful for them. I don't think it's virtuous or ethical to then intentionally discard or destroy natural fibers that could benefit people who need it.
The alternative to keeping wool sheep or other wool animals and giving them a yearly shearing (which again, they NEED) is driving them to extinction.
And make no mistake! Lots of "animal rights activists" (like PETA) not only want that, they are actively working towards it.
"Better dead than bred."
No more dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, pigs, llamas, alpacas, chickens, or any other domesticated animals. They want them dead and gone, because they consider it merciful to drive these creatures to extinction. They're fine with animals dying or being killed, as long as it doesn't benefit anyone. PETA and other groups like them routinely cause mass death of animals, either by releasing tame animals to suffer and die on their own in the wild, or by directly taking charge of animals and then personally killing them and destroying their bodies so they can't be used for anything.
It's not that they "love" animals, it's that they hate humans.
Being vegan is fine. Viewing all humans as irredeemably evil parasites and wanting all domesticated animals to die out to "save" them is not.
vegans would rather wear plastic head to toe than benefit from symbiotic relationships we've had with animals for thousands of years
#I'm an animal welfarist#I think animals deserve freedom from suffering and want to the greatest extent possible#I think mass scale farming and factory farming are wrong#I don't think it's categorically evil to eat your pet chicken's sterile eggs though#or to use your sheep's haircut trimmings to make a coat#I don't think it's automatically wrong and evil for humans to benefit from animals#and I think domesticated creatures are a treasure we should cherish and maintain

Operation Stumpy Re-Read
ACOK: Tyrion XIII (Chapter 59)
The low clouds caught the color of the burning river and roofed the sky in shades of shifting green, eerily beautiful. A terrible beauty. Like dragonfire. Tyrion wondered if Aegon the Conqueror had felt like this as he flew above his Field of Fire.
Why don't you ask her after she's finished.
+.+.+
Do you hear them shrieking, Stannis? Do you see them burning? This is your work as much as mine.
Oh god, I'm having flashbacks.
+.+.+
Somewhere in that seething mass of men south of the Blackwater, Stannis was watching too, Tyrion knew. He'd never had his brother Robert's thirst for battle. He would command from the rear, from the reserve, much as Lord Tywin Lannister was wont to do.
Hold on one second. Have I let the show alter my memory? You're telling me Stannis commands from the rear? He's a Tywin, not a Robert? A Roose, not a Robb?
Wuss.
+.+.+
"Mother promised I could have the Whores," Joffrey said. Tyrion was annoyed to see that the king had lifted the visor of his helm again. Doubtless the boy was cooking inside all that heavy steel . . . but the last thing he needed was some stray arrow punching through his nephew's eye.
Wasn't there an Aemon who took an arrow to the face?
Nope, I'm wrong. It was the throat.
The above probably isn't anything then. You could never survive an arrow to the eye, right? It would have to be a glancing blow.
+.+.+
He clanged the visor shut. "Keep that closed, Your Grace; your sweet person is precious to us all." And you don't want to spoil that pretty face, either.
Somebody will be getting their face spoiled.
+.+.+
Joff had the Antler Men trussed up naked in the square below, antlers nailed to their heads. When they'd been brought before the Iron Throne for justice, he had promised to send them to Stannis. A man was not as heavy as a boulder or a cask of burning pitch, and could be thrown a deal farther. Some of the gold cloaks had been wagering on whether the traitors would fly all the way across the Blackwater. "Be quick about it, Your Grace," he told Joffrey. "We'll want the trebuchets throwing stones again soon enough. Even wildfire does not burn forever."
Yikes.
+.+.+
Even so, by the time they reached the King's Gate, he could hear a booming crash of wood on wood that told him the battering ram had been brought into play.
[...]
"Who commands here? You're going out."
"No." A shadow detached itself from the shadow of the wall, to become a tall man in dark grey armor. Sandor Clegane wrenched off his helm with both hands and let it fall to the ground. The steel was scorched and dented, the left ear of the snarling hound sheared off. A gash above one eye had sent a wash of blood down across the Hound's old burn scars, masking half his face.
"Yes." Tyrion faced him.
Clegane's breath came ragged. "Bugger that. And you."
A sellsword stepped up beside him. "We been out. Three times. Half our men are killed or hurt. Wildfire bursting all around us, horses screaming like men and men like horses—"
"Did you think we hired you to fight in a tourney? Shall I bring you a nice iced milk and a bowl of raspberries? No? Then get on your fucking horse. You too, dog."
The blood on Clegane's face glistened red, but his eyes showed white. He drew his longsword.
[...]
The Hound thrust the point of his longsword into the ground and leaned upon the pommel, swaying. "I've lost half my men. Horse as well. I'm not taking more into that fire."
Ser Mandon Moore moved to Tyrion's side, immaculate in his enameled white plate. "The King's Hand commands you."
"Bugger the King's Hand." Where the Hound's face was not sticky with blood, it was pale as milk.
[...]
He is dead on his feet. Tyrion could see it now. The wound, the fire . . . he's done, I need to find someone else, but who?
Is this their hero? lmao
The show really beefed up his defiance in this scene, when he was just a pouty scared little boy.
If there are gods, they made sheep so wolves could eat mutton, and they made the weak for the strong to play with. - Sandor Clegane
Look how strong you are, big man.
+.+.+
This is madness, he thought, but sooner madness than defeat. Defeat is death and shame. "Very well, I'll lead the sortie."
If he thought that would shame the Hound back to valor, he was wrong. Clegane only laughed. "You?"
The second time Tyrion has had to step in because the Hound is being useless. I'm in stitches. How embarrassing.
+.+.+
"They say I'm half a man," he said. "What does that make the lot of you?"
That shamed them well enough. A knight mounted, helmetless, and rode to join the others. A pair of sellswords followed. Then more. The King's Gate shuddered again. In a few moments the size of Tyrion's command had doubled. He had them trapped. If I fight, they must do the same, or they are less than dwarfs.
"You won't hear me shout out Joffrey's name," he told them. "You won't hear me yell for Casterly Rock either. This is your city Stannis means to sack, and that's your gate he's bringing down. So come with me and kill the son of a bitch!" Tyrion unsheathed his axe, wheeled the stallion around, and trotted toward the sally port. He thought they were following, but never dared to look.
Do I actually have to give Tyrion credit two chapters in a row? Ugh.
Whatever, at least Stannis and the Hound are getting buried.
Final thoughts:
Is this some kind of sick joke?
22 down, 27 to go. :(

Okay but like... Genuine leather will last for like. Twenty, fifty, maybe seventy years. That's a durable fucken material. That's sustainable shit. That's good shit. It's good. Why must there be such hatred for using all of an animal that's already dead? If we are using the animal for meat why not also use the hide? I don't see the issue with it. In fact isn't that better? Isn't that more respectful? Literally there is no reason not to. It's wasteful not to.
If an animal is being used for meat I'm of the opinion that by throwing away the hide or fur you're being wasteful and disrespectful. Use it. Use all of the animal. It's just wrong not to.
But I guess that's my opinion lol
And all the hatred for wool is really weird. Sheep need to be sheared. Agricultural sheep were bred that way. If they weren't shorn they'd die of bacterial or parasitic infections and illnesses and it would be sad and gross. Not to mention overheating. We can't really un-breed the growth of their wool out of them so the wool must come off. It doesn't hurt the sheep
And they aren't killed for it (I've seen people say that before. Crazy idea. Killing a sheep for it's wool is like. Literally counterintuitive considering an alive sheep means more wool). Lol
I think animal waste should be reduced and less encouraged.
Also, side note, support regenerative farms! Support your local agriculture <3

- he would be the first on the server to scout out the land and get resources
- however, no one warned him about night fall
- and all the creepy, scary things that spawned
- changbin lives in the ground now
- he dug a hole at the base of the mountain to take refuge during the night and never looked back
- normal person? No way! He was a mole now!
- the best at mining and interior rock design
- he would only resurface to seek out food and animals
- it was Changbin who stole all the cows and sheep, so you couldn't find them for felix
- he would have three large pins just next to his mountain
- lots of cows, rainbow sheep and pigs with saddles
- " uh...so I found these pins of animals and like...no house?"
- "What?"
- "I think the magical Minecraft fairy spawned it into the world?"
- "It's super weird. But I'm gonna kill some cows for their leather"
- "DON'T YOU TOUCH MY COWS!"
- and to your shock, a secret door in the mountain opens and Changbin comes running out
- the door made courtesy of Chan
- "He's got a diamond sword already?!?"
- it's the last thing you scream as he kills you for being near his cows
- and after a round of feeding and breeding, he disappears back into his hole
Hyunjin
- would only be about building
- he would be the first one to have a diamond pickaxe just so he could mine cobblestone faster
- would also get efficiency V just so he could speed run through the mines
- would wander through different biomes for days to collect clay so he could make concrete
- and while you're busy actually playing the game, he would beg for you to pick flowers on your trip so he can dye the concrete different colors
- his first house would be a mansion
- but he would give up half way because he kept falling off the roof and dying
- would forget he is actually playing the game and would get scared when night falls and mobs start spawning in his unlit house
- not like you didn't tell him countless times to put down torches
- but he kept saying they ruined his aesthetic
- but now he keeps dying because mobs are literally waiting at his spawn point, killing him over and over and over again
- and he begs you to set the time to day and kill the mobs for him
- but you just laugh uncontrollably at him because karma really is a bitch
- but in the end, he ends up making an entire city, and invites the others to come and play on the server.
Jisung
- would be just like Chan
- a pure ass baby when it comes to playing minecraft, but super eager to play the game
- his first spawn would be in the middle of the night (because of server)
- and you would try to tell him to not leave the safety of spawn, but he just wouldn't listen
- "Listen, Y/n, I know what I'm doing! I'm a pro at this!"
- and he would run confidently into the night, like the actual idiot that he is
- he wouldn't get too far before he was attacked by all the mobs and got killed
- "Well that was just rude!"
- "Oh my god Jisung, I told you not to do it."
- "Well how was I supposed to know they were going to kill me?!"
- and you can only shake your head at his stupidity
- he would eventually wait until daytime, but unfortunately all of his items would be lost due to despawning
- it's not like either one of you were equipped to go and retrieve his items
- zombies sucked man! And skeletons are the worst!
- but with a new day comes a new adventure and you both head out to find a place to call home
- Jisung would run the entire way, even though he had no food to keep his hunger up
- he also wouldn't be paying attention to where he was going and would fall into a hole
- a very BIG hole
- 'J.One fell from a high place'
- "Really Jisung?"
- "I couldn't see it!"
- playing with Jisung would be a very challenging task, because he would never learn
- because by the time he had diamond armor and ready to fight the wither, he would have fallen from fifteen cliffs, twenty holes in caves and three ravines
- "Jisung if you die one more time I swear to god!"
- 'J.One fell from a high place'
- "That's it! I quit!"
Felix
- You would be so hyped to play with Felix
- You've seen him play other games, so you knew he'd be great at minecraft
- Getting the server had been his idea, the easiest way everyone could play together
- First day of spawn, Felix would already be listing off the things that you would need to accomplish
- wood, cobblestone, iron, seeds, sheep
- it was all just so overwhelming
- by the time you make your first complete set of wooden tools, felix would have iron tools already
- he'd been ten feet underground, digging for more resources while tasking you to find the animals for food, wool and feathers
- easier said then done
- and when he resurfaces and you don't have animals, he would simply sigh and go do it himself
- which would upset you because you would spend hours looking for just one god damn cow
- meanwhile, Felix would take five steps in one direction and come across hundreds of cows!!!
- WHERE DID ALL THESE COWS COME FROM?!?!?
- he'd travel the whole map just to find a jungle to get coco beans
- seriously though, how did he find the fucking jungle?
- it like doesn't exist
- except it does and Minho most likely lives there with all his cats
- Also, there's pandas!!!!!
- Felix would try and tame a panda, even though it's not possible
- When not trying to show off, Felix would be in his crappy little hut (cause hyunjin was still making the city), making cookies and cakes because why wouldn't he?
- at least he shares, unlike someone.....
- Felix would be absolutely unstoppable at the game, while you struggle to get to iron level armor (while trying to keep Jisung alive)
- Felix would have just a big ego
- it's okay though. One strike from Seungmin's sword and he'd be put back into his place
- Revenge is a dish best served Seungmin.
Seungmin
- the worst of the worst
- he would be the one to pretend to not know the game
- but really, he would be a minecraft expert
- read: troll
- every chance he would get, Seungmin would try to do something to ruin your day
- don't ever go mining with him. EVER!
- he would be the one to lead over a creeper to you in a ravine while you're trying to mine diamonds, right next to a lava pool
- the first one to explode wouldn't do any damage, thankfully
- "Don't you dare bring a creeper over here!"
- "I wouldn't."
- somehow, you wouldn't be convinced
- but you decided to trust him
- y/n clown
- you're just mining away at the diamond when a big explosion happens
- and you notice two things
- 1. the diamonds and the surrounding area were blown up
- 2. you were now in the pool of lava, dying
- meanwhile, Seungmin was running away, cackling like the evil little shit that he was
- the holy terror, that's what they would call him
- he would purposefully go out and fight creepers just to gather their gunpowder so he could make dynamite
- no one was safe from him
- except Minho
- because no one knew where he was
I.N.
- Jeongin would spend at least two days researching things for the game before actually playing
- he would want to have some knowledge before walking into hell that was the Stray Kids server
- it's okay though, because everyone loves Jeongin
- really, he wouldn't need to do a thing
- diamond armor, enchanted? check
- enchanted weapons? check
- his own cat and dog? double check
- everyone would do anything for this baby
- but Jeongin isn't one to mooch *coughJisungcough*
- even with all his presents, he would still start with the basics of punching a tree
- while others have found this skills in cooking, mining, falling into holes, redstone and building
- jeongin would be more interested in potions and enchanting
- YOU'RE A WIZARD INNIE!
- Jeongin would quickly master potion brewing
- even if it meant battling the scary blazes in the nether
- huh, so that's why Changbin was screaming so much
- he would be hired by Minho to make him potions of breathing so he could go claim an ocean monument
- Jeongin would only do it if he could help
- surprisingly Minho agrees and for the first time in 84 years, everyone gets to see Minho's character

I don't trust the word limit of the ask so clicked this option...?
Hi Quim(mie like how Shego refers to Kim)!
I hope you’re doing well.
(I hope this is how you send those longer, pic filled asks bc I was in your ask box and totally flummoxed. Hopefully ‘submit’ works? If not, I saved my comments in a doc and just dm them or smthn. Apologies in advance!)
I love how you started the first chapter; building that hope and the relief that each of the Rotten Four experiences differently before it bursts. I adore who you picked for each of them to notice/or be noticed by! The contrast of some looking to former, assumed 'enemies’ (e.g. Mal with Audrey and her fam. Evie being surprised that Snow was cheering for her [ah my heart (soft)].) versus others looking to new friends (e.g. Jay with his teammates) really stood out to me.
And then there’s King Adam… >.>
>:[
*readies my pruning shears or sheep shears bc he was def acting like a Beast and not Adam…(Adam is a jerk canon-wise too though). Idk, machete???*
(^^Look I made them golden for his aesthetic.)
I def could feel that buoying happiness abruptly plummet with how you wrote it, taking time to show how each of the VK had a shred of hope for things maybe improving and then that happens.
Oh, the Rotten Four’s continued surprise at the citizens coming to their defense and support gets me. <3 It is def in character given how they were raised; however, it also makes me a little sad bc they did just do something objectively heroic/badass and are still unsure of if it’s enough to outweigh everything else. With that everything else including so much…(e.g. ingrained biases, hate based off of blood, fears, the rotten four did technically plot, etc.).
“Even Audrey pipping in their defense” yes, ppl sometimes forget how soft she was at the end of D1??? Giving that smile to Mal.
(^^Audrey about to throw hands bc the VKs actually did not bring fire and brimstone to Auradon…and may be marginally, slightly okay in some sense..maybe.)
Me, a person who likes the fang trope in fic bc /vampires/: *reads about King Adam’s fangs peeking through* hmm…
Me: Not on you though…Nope.
That was such a good detail to include; it underscores how his actions are beastly, callous, and aggressive??? He is interrupting (more like shattering) not only the coronation, but the start of healing between the VKs and Auradon. The cold arrogance of his words (me-centric, patronizing,) are a good contrast to his aggressive body language (stepping forward, fang barred smile, and clasping his hands like he is trying to stay the need to act–to strike???) too. You got the beast-man dynamic really well is what I’m trying to say.
“Trust me, I know what’s best for Auradon, and for all of us.”
^I would not trust him as far as I could throw him, which would not be very far bc he’s pretty hulking, so yeah that saying fits well.
Ah my heart (sad). I really respect how you captured them being overwhelmed by the events of their weeks on Auradon, bc I def agree that all that planning, sneaking, plotting, adapting, enduring, bullying, pretending, worrying, and other -ings would be so draining. (You get my point.) I think that was a very good take on it as opposed to them trying to struggle right off the bat. They are tired, they are kids, so that was a smart choice, imo.
King Adam premeditated exactly how to take them down efficiently and effectively….*sharpens deadly object*. :-( I don’t like him. Using magic sealing or inhibiting cuffs to prevent any errant spells was a smart tactical move…He is still a jerk though, but that is in character for a High King to plan ahead. Sedating them? Again, smart. I actually liked the capture scene (even though I love the Rotten Four), since how you had it play out highlights how he thought about any possible objection/obstacle, which makes the disdain for Adam grow. Their voices and ability to argue or reason with the citizens of Auradon was taken with them alongside their ability to fight back and make a stand.
Oh no.
Carlos has a valid point. He was the last to put his hand in the huddle in the film, but also is more of a pessimist/realist, imo, so I liked that insight from him!
You know I didn’t think about how the sedation and rough handling by the guards would make it easier for their parents to get a hold of them. Evie and Carlos trying to find comfort in each other made me a little emotional. I can only imagine how nerve wracking it must have been for Evie to wait all alone…>.> It does make sense to me that she and Carlos would have a better chance of getting free (and possibly less severe punishment). [RIP Mal].
I like how the two 'nerds’ are scheming to save the day. <3
Hmm, curious who this 'them’ is that needs to be convinced. I have some guesses, but maybe more hands/help are needed and Evie is def the person who could convince ppl to lend a hand.
Okay. *deep breath* >.> It hurt my bby (Evie in this instance) to smile…I’m not saying we should kill Adam, but he should suffer. (Honestly, in most of my fics I put Evie through some stuff and yet reading yours make me feel protective so ???).
Oh mystery device ftw. Carlos being a mechanical, tinkering genius ft. Evie’s support and own genius is going to create a deadly duo. Mal and Jay are the priority, though I am also curious as to who they view as there main enemy now (Auradon? Beast? Their parents? Hmm…All of them to some degree. We shall see.).
“Evie had hope for the first time since they crossed the barrier for the second time.”
Yessss. That made me happy and was such a killer line after the heaviness of them reuniting and taking stock of everything (and most notably who is still missing).
Such an interesting, well paced, and amazing start! :D
It would be hard for me to pick a favorite part since each segment lends itself to the overall impact, though as much as I hate him, I think Beast’s mini speech was really well done. Awesome work!
Best wishes! (hope this sends @ Tumblr, please?)

Skill is skill, they got the fleece off in smooth strokes and quickly, they didn't hurt the sheep and the fleece was kept in 1 piece, that takes skill that many posses and I certainly don't have that skill. My alpacas would probably be happier about shearing if I could get it done quicker but I can't so they have to deal with me going slower and being more careful so that I don't cut them by accident which is also more difficult when they refuse to stand still, if I could afford to pay someone to come and do it for me I would. I don't sell their fleece instead I use it around my co-owned smallholding - insulation for the duck and chicken coop in winter (theyre not sheared in winter i just store the fleece) , it also makes a really good duster when thinned and pulled out, it is also a really good enrichment for my dogs who will spend hours playing with it and just sniffing and sleeping on the fleece, im learning how to spin so I can turn it into wool that I can crochet and knit with.
Just because something came from animal doesn't mean that its bad, I pick up roadkill and other dead animals/feathers that I find lying around, I used the feathers for art and to decorate places, I bury the animal bodies (if theyre not usuable) in my garden which improves the soil quality and encourages my plants to grow, then I dig up their bones and clean them which I can either keep or sell to make some money to go towards the vet bills, feed bills, farrier bills, worming bills of all my animals. If there is a way to use an animal that has been killed i will, for example my friend saw a deer get hit and killed by a car so she called me and I went and collected the deer about 10 mins later, since it was so freshly killed I could use the meat for venison and get the hide which I sent to a friend so he could turn it into leather, any of the deer that wasn't usable by me went out into the nearby woods where the local foxes and scavengers finished it off. The hoof pieces that come of my alpacas, sheep, cows and horses are used as treats for dogs. I only buy meat from the store when its for pet food (dog food, cat food, rodents for my reps) as I'm against the disrespectful attitude of most people when it comes to meat but if I could have meat from an animal that I raised and killed myself I would, if I could live entirely self sufficient I would.
Would you prefer for millions of sheep to be suffering even more than they are now? To die slow and horrendous deaths from over heating or being eaten alive by skin diseases and parasites, a quick death is more humane than a slow one and like it or not there are animal rights in place - all animals should have food, water and be kept as safely as possible but these by themselves aren't enough to arrest or prosecute animal abusers, thats where welfare comes in, ensuring the animals welfare has lead to many legislations and laws being created in the uk by DEFRA (department for environment, farming and rural affairs) that are enough grounds for someone to be arrested if they dont adhere to them. Here's the basic outline on sheep and shearing, docking and castrating them by DEFRA
So these farmed animals don't deserve a good quality of life because they were brought into the world for humans? If that's the case then you must also be against dogs being groomed or fish having their water changed and purified or snakes and reps not to be fed because all domestic animals were originally brought into the world for humans, and most have continued to be bred for humans - toy dogs, working dogs, show dogs, cats, alpacas, chickens, horses, goats, domestic rabbit species, guinea pigs, 1000s of breeds of fish. If you are truly against 'animal exploitation' then you must also be against pets and service animals as they are used for human enjoyment .
On artificial insemination- it is proven to be safer for cows to be impregnated by this method rather than natural methods (letting a bull loose with them) which goes for all larger animals , there are also many risks associated with smaller animals breeding but its harder to use ai with them. For example cats have 'spiked' penises that can cause significant damage to the female if pulled out suddenly, if a mare rejects a stallion there is a high chance of both of them being killed by each other. I also don't understand why you think humans using ai to impregnate animals is forcible compared to what happens in the "natural world" many animals will accidently kill the female theyre trying to mate with as they get too forcible or there's too much competition- mallards ducks will often gang up on females to mate with them and toads will suffocate females to death as they crowd round her to get a chance at mating. Human methods are a lot gentler than what happens when animals are left to their own devices- I have 2 stallions who regularly try to mate with each other and cause significant damage to each others anuses when they do, (im getting them gelded next year so hopefully they calm down then).
After getting involved in quite a lot of debates and seeing the hypocrisy on both sides , I'm going to stay on the fence about veganism and be more flexible especially as I learn more about the natural world, ecology and death.

Every time someone says that shearing hurts the sheep, an angel loses its wings. Since I have some free time on my hands, let's break down the common arguments against shearing sheep, shall we?
Argument #1: Look at the photos of freshly shorn sheep! They're covered in blood!
Why This Is Nonsense: In the photos they're usually talking about, the sheep are covered in a red substance. That is animal safe dye. This is used to mark and keep track of the sheep, and it does not hurt them. Sometimes, the ewes will have these red marks on their rears. That's because the ram will wear a special harness, so when he mounts the ewe, she will come away with a (completely harmless) stain; this helps farmers keep track of the sheep they're breeding. Also, if a sheep was so badly hurt during shearing that they were covered in blood, I can promise you the farmers would be absolutely FURIOUS.
Argument #2: It stresses them out! It's hurting them by causing them stress!
Why This Is Nonsense: Yeah, it absolutely can stress them out. It's definitely not their favorite thing in the world. But the benefits FAR outweigh the negatives (including the fact that they could literally die from not being sheared) and a good shearer will minimize the stress as much as possible and take steps to ensure they don't hurt themselves.
Argument #3, specialty of Tumblr: A sheep's soul is stored in the wool, and shearing them kills the soul!
Why This Is Nonsense: ...It's pretty clear why. I just thought this was really funny.
Anyways, now let's look at some of the benefits to shearing sheep!
First of all, if you don't shear them, their wool will grow out of control. This causes a number of problems. Problem #1: They will overheat. This coat will cause them to boil, and they will be in misery. Problem #2: This is a breeding ground for parasites, infections, flies, animal waste, and all sorts of nasty things. It's extremely unhygienic and detrimental to their health. Problem #3: Their movement is extremely limited. They can't move, they can't do anything, they're stuck because the wool weighs them down and severely limits mobility. It is essential to the health of the sheep to be shorn regularly. It's true that sheep in the wild don't need to be shorn, as we humans actually bred sheep to produce excess wool. But, now they DO need to be shorn, and we can do it safely.
Now, this is not to say that there's not abuse or inhumane practices that happen. There absolutely can be. So, if you want to avoid buying unethical wool, then look for local farms in your area; see if you can purchase wool from them. Research brands and their practices. As with most animal industries, there's going to be abuse and harm happening, but you can avoid brands and farms that perpetuate this, and buy from ethical ones.
Some of y'all might be wondering "Now why should I trust a random dude on Tumblr?" You absolutely shouldn't! Even though I do know what I'm talking about, there's no way for you to verify that, so here are my sources. Source #1 Source #2 Source #3 (this one is nice because it's from a small farm and does talk about the abuse and inhumane practices done at places like factory farms, and also talks about how they make it safe for the sheep and how it is necessary for them.) Source #4
