Teresa (1988–present) Originally used the 1983 Spanish Barbie face sculpt for the Island Fun Teresa doll and the Beach Blast Teresa doll. Starting with the Wet 'N Wild Teresa doll, the character began using the 1972 Steffie face sculpt. Beginning with the Rollerblade Teresa doll, the character began using an all-new face sculpt that has become known as the Teresa face sculpt. In the Grolier book High Sea Adventure from 1999, her last name is Rivera. She is currently known as one of Barbie's friends. She is named Debora in Brazil (from the book Barbie Doll Around the World, by J. Michael Augustyniak, copyright 2008 Collector Books). She starred in the web series "Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse" and now stars in Barbie: Dreamhouse Adventures. On the back of the 1999 Beyond Pink Teresa box, her birthday is listed as Oct. 2.

July 1
I know I did stuff yesterday. I know I played around with some photo shop and I sorted the stuff for the feminine themed collage book a bit more. Realized it could use some more wedding stuff. Maybe some paper doll print outs for that, do a small version of the anal wedding idea.
I know I read stuff, watched stuff, ate stuff.
Made a dent in the Cure Corruption book. Priced some other books. Priced a brand of colored pencils and decided against them. Thought about getting more watercolor pencils then thought that I don’t really use the ones I have too much, the brand I have the most of aren’t that bad, but I haven’t had top line ones to know better.
I did a Teddy in Derwent Soft Drawing pencils because I noticed I hadn’t.

Not bad, not the best, needs a better picture taken of it. I was going to do a water soluble graphite of him, maybe several as I have a couple of brands, but lost the urge to art.
Some of the photoshopping was trying to feminize the facial features of some guys. In my Tumblr wanderings I saw someone had feminized pictures of Robert Smith and Simon Gallup. They looked okay but they didn’t look right to me. Some of what hadn’t happened was lifting the brows and softening the brow bones, making the eyes a bit bigger, noses not so wide, lips a bit fuller, jaw bones softer.
There are very masculine looking women but there are general things you can do to a face to feminize it. Got to look back in to the drawing people books about it because one of them had a few pointers listed on adjusting features.
Cut a pice of template plastic 9x12″, sticks out of the book store sketchbook I bought but it’ll be useful with the other art papers too. I bought that book because I like the cover and its wire bound. Haven’t started using it yet but mostly because when I did I was testing the Canson and black papers then kind of went meh for working on bigger pictures at the time. Or it was doing stuff that wouldn’t work on sketch papers.
And the book blocks you glued in to the Ranger cover are better suited for a more artsy sort of art journal thing because their paper is bigger. Remember that sketch weight paper doesn’t do glue or the slightest bit of damp or wet media at all. Sketch/draw in dry pencils in that book. Use up the Blick Studio, Tombow, Derwent Studio, Prismacolor and other pencils you want to use up.
Again it’s battling the brain injury and now some general depression just to get up and feed the cats in the morning.

I had never seen the Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse show until I caught a clip on a blog. It’s a parody, right? What I saw was awful. I won’t let the dolls watch. I bought Midge up there to have a Steffie face Midge, and I might reroot her to a darker mire vibrant shade. The other one is called Olive, most of her personality has been a bit of the 10th Doctor’s daughter in some Doctor doll stories.
If I get around to having Cure dolls I can see olive getting a makeover as Mary Poole/Smith. She’s the most Mary looking of all the sculpts I have and there’s no having a Robert without a Mary.

That’s about the best pic I could find of Olive but it wouldn’t take much to make her Mary. The guy is John McGann/The War Doctor, a Barack Sergeant forgot the model name.
Going to be a long day today but part of it should involve that junk store where I occasionally luck out and get some kick ass books.
