2.4. Novel translation - CH105: Xue Qian Shan’s 11th wedding

[In the men's room, SXR stands by the window avoiding all the smoke and he talks with An-BeiLe about the times he's sexually abused Xiao Zhou Zi whilst he's been away, saying that he should court him properly if he is interested and not be forceful with the poor boy. An-BeiLe thought it's because SXR was jealous and slags off CFT in response (rip). The conversation ended unpleasantly as SXR got mad for obvious reasons, and An-BeiLe is angry because has never been confronted about his behaviour or had his authority challenged before. SXR goes back to sit with CFT and calms down, returning to his docile state.

  Fan Lian and Xue Qian Shan are close, so Fan Lian speaks with little concern as if he's in his own home, complaining about how greedy the Japanese are for invading BeiPing, Niu-Ye queries why they are still wanting more land when they've already taken over ShangDong, and Fan Lian responds by saying they are wanting the resources down south.] Xue Qian Shan is sitting with his legs crossed, lighting up the tobacco in his pipe, his eyes narrowed behind the smoke with his gaze fixed on Du Qi, smiling silently. Du Qi has his head lowered as he inspects Xue Qian Shan's collection of smoke pipes in the glass cabinet, not paying any attention to the gaze, he shakes his head: "Niu-Ye doesn't understand the geography, Japan is long and narrow, all on a fucking seismic zone, not a single bit wasted, wouldn't you be scared if that was you? Even in peaceful times there's earthquakes every other day, whenever the God of heavens decides to stomp his feet, they'd all end up being water ghosts!"
