there's a moment where addy pauses. in truth, she's not...fully aware of what has been going on between the two owners, just that things had been...tense. and yeah, she'd been helping willing with some of his side projects, but mostly so she could learn more about the animatronics themselves. besides, it's a better application of her skill than building random projects she came up with in her room. still, she hadn't thought it would be that big of a deal.

she doesn't have much of a reason to take henry's word over william's. she's spent far more time with william, william's spent time making her trust him. she doesn't have as much of that with henry. so the first thought at his answer is that william would say something similar about henry's story.

"with all due respect, helping him isn't affecting my performance working for you, so does it matter?" it hasn't affected her work here, hasn't even affected her schooling, so she doesn't really see much of an issue, doesn't see how it would be his business what she does outside of her shifts.
