It’s not midnight where I live yet so I still made my self-imposed deadline.This was made in a day btw, so I deeply apologize for such a lackluster paint job.

In any case, presenting Ruby Rose Gundam Deathscythe! (I’m using SD Gundam World rules so that’s the full name)

Kits (that I can recall) using are the SD-EX Standard Deathscythe, SD Sangoku Soketsuden Da Qiao Gundam Artemis/Xiao Qiao GN Archer, Sun Shangxiang Strike Rouge, and Diao Chan Kshatria. She’s also “borrowing” Nendoroid Ruby Rose’s Crescent Rose.

I feel a little bad at the sudden inundation of Milgram posts when people who follow me probably don't know what that is, so:

What is MILGRAM?

MILGRAM is an interactive music project with songs by DECO*27 (Ghost Rule, Streaming Heart, Otome Dissection) and story by Takuya Yamanaka (Caligula Effect, SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden).

The premise is that ten so-called "murderers" have been interred in Milgram Prison - a strange place that is capable of extracting their thoughts and memories as music videos. After a song is extracted it is up to us, the audience (portayed in-canon by the prison guard Es) to vote whether the prisoners are Guilty or Innocent (or technically Forgiven/Unforgiven, as all of them are guilty of something). These votes then change the story as it progresses until after three trials (three rounds of songs) it will be concluded.

Currently Trial 2 is underway and almost done - only four prisoners left to vote for - but it's never too late!

The introduction video can be found on the official YouTube channel here, and I've made playlists for Trial 1 and Trial 2 (up to date as of time of this post). Just a heads-up: it does deal with some pretty dark topics and a lot of the music videos feature explicit violence, so keep that in mind if you want to check it out.

絶望+ Gundam More Dread

This wasn’t really a planned custom; I saw Arthur was coming out, loved the crown and translucent armor, and thought it’d be fun to paint. Since I didn’t want to use just one kit, I mixed in parts from the new Knight Strike Gundam, and here we are.

Will say, I was planning on using the Knight Strike’s front hip skirt, but it didn’t fit with the sides, which is how the one piece of armor ended up on his sword. It wasn’t until after I finished taking photos that I realized I could just reattach it to the hips, so here:

The Details: The head, torso, hips, shoulders, cape, and large sword are all from Arthur Gundam Mk-III, and the arms, legs, back skirt, small sword, and its mount are from Knight Strike Gundam. I used Arthur’s eye stickers, and did a base primer coat in black, and layered gold and silver on top of it.

Overall, he turned out pretty good. I feel like I managed to pretty evenly separate all the colors, and he turned out very regal, befitting a king (or the son of one). I only have one more planned custom, but who knows what’ll come out in the new series? Also, in the short time I got to mess with it, I really like the Knight Strike, so if they do at least 3 armors for it I might try doing one or two customs using it.

Every year I have a tradition where I do a SD Gundam-related VA joke profile picture for Halloween on Twitter.

This year I chose Shunsuke Takeuchi, the voice of Cao Cao Wing Gundam, and the other Takeuchi role I chose to pair him with is Askin from Bleach.

Sun Jian Gundam Astray is in my opinion the best character in both shows. All he wants to do is business and slaughter, and he's all out of business thanks to the villain (not really).
