#S18 is actually my least fave season or one of my least fave seasons

I have bereavement disorder for a Doctor Who character!

I have Autism and CHARGE Syndrome and since about September 2022, I've had bereavement disorder from Luvic of Traken, although I am most likely Aromantic Asexual.

Yes, Luvic has only 15 minutes of screentime, then dying of entropy wawe one story later, and yes, Robin Soans is still alive and propably will be working as an actor for another few years.

But still, the only time they brought Robin back is to play a 5-minute-screentime character who is credited as "Chronolock Guy", as in, the guy who got killed by a Chronolock, presumably existing as a sort of reference to the events surrounding Luvic's death. Expecially as Chronolock Guy does seem like what an older Luvic would be like. Technically there's also Shadrak Winter but.

BUT my stuff with Traken started even before watching Doctor Who. I first got into the Doctor Who fandom around 2012, through a My Little Pony meme called Doctor Whooves, so I knew a lot about Doctor Who even before watching the show, and even made a forum named Trakenboard and called myself Nyssa of Trakenboard online. (I was'nt completely emotionally in me at the time.)

I saw S15-17 as they came out, felt S15 started strong but then that feeling began to crumble the longer it continued as more and more of the reveals turned out to be pure comedy than the dramedy I'd come to prefer. Was positive going into S16 but ended up hating it by the end, spent half the runtime going "Yes, I saw Thor 3 as well, Joe". S17, though, I actually really enjoyed. I wish it was longer, because I think most of its weaknesses are the result of it being crammed into twelve episodes.

As a related point: Even as much as I disliked S16, I still at least finished it. I still haven't watched the last two episodes of Zero, and if they stick with Zero instead of a proper S18 then I may well be done with the show until such a time as S18 materialises

See the s16 thing reminds me of what I said before, about how i dont really notice stuff the first time I watch, I didnt realise how many pop culture references Joe made the first time i watched his seasons, it wasnt until other people mentioned it and i went back and watched the entire thing again, that I noticed there was a lot

I guess my brains just really good at filtering out stuff I dont care about lmao, I admittedly didnt really know a lot of the references so they probably just went right over my head the first time I watched, and thus didn't really impact how I felt about the season

I liked s17 a lot too, I think one of the few things I was told about s15-17 before watching them was that s17 was a Donut season and I always loved it for that because Donut was my fave from s2 onwards and I was so excited to see him get his own arc

And same on rvbz, I havent finished it yet either, and I'm not sure I'd be able to convince myself to watch another season of it
