A whopping 89.8% (if I mathed correctly) of you chose to give Sherly some love or something constructive, and I think that's wonderful! I'm deeply entertained by those who chose chaos and gave the lad more drugs. xD Also the folks who just straight up decided he gets nothing.

I'm surprised and touched that a hug/smooch from John won out over a new case, but that race was very close and a new case had the lead for a long while there. I'll give a shoutout to one of my favorite S&Co eps for this one, The Adventure of the Cardboard Box, where Lestrade mails Sherlock a box for his birthday that kicks off a very memorable case he gets to solve with John (and Mariana!) Give it a listen if you haven't already. :)

sherlock & co is so so good, man. sherlock feels like a genuine person and his neurodivergency is not shied away from or done for laughs; john plays an actual role and it truly feels like he and sherlock are a good pair; mariana is a fantastic addition who has good chemistry with the both of them and is a fully actualized person… it’s just so good. i’m on episode 20 rn and it’s just so good i love it so much

thinking about Sherlock & Co too much so have some orientation headcanons

watson: bi but still in the closet. he’s a staunch ally before coming out, but he was just raised in a small town and hasn’t felt free to explore his own feelings openly.

mariana: omni. i feel like she could love any and everyone (and would look good doing it)

sherlock: demiromantic asexual. i think his romantic attraction mimics his platonic attraction, which we’ve seen develop and deepen for both John and Mariana. in my mind, he leans toward sex-indifference and favors sensual intimacy.

I was listening to the Sherlock & Co podcast last week (The Sign of Four – Part Three) and I was dumbstruck by this particular part:

Context: John is talking to Mary (yes THAT Mary) about how his life has changed from when they were supposed to meet up last year and didn't.

And later on in the episode she asks him out and they go on a date. But.. I don't know how she didn't interpret this as John talking about his boyfriend.

This sounds like a boyfriend. I've asked LGBT+ friends and straight friends. Men, women, nonbinary friends. They all say this is overtly gay.

How did Mary drum up the courage to ask John out after this? Because he sounds completely taken.

sherlock&co is the one sherlock adaptation that im okay with not making romantic johnlock. because john and sherlock are already so found family. they are soulmates. they love each other in a way that is special to them. i don't care if it's romantic, platonic, or a secret third thing. their relationship is important and strong and beautiful either way.
