s&c Sherlock tried so hard to make genuine friends in school but just because he’s a little different people find him weird and annoying. He’d pretend not to care but really, he can’t count how many days his pillow was wet in the morning. He can’t count how many lunches he spent alone. He can’t count how many PE classes he couldn’t find a partner when teachers told him to. He can’t count how many holidays he spent in his room reading. Those things never seemed to have bother him but they did. That’s why he cherishes what he has with John. He appreciates everything John gives him, from the tea to the hugs. He also cares about Mariana deeply. They literally mean the world to him. His entire world is 221a&b. I’m gonna cry

Now for something new, here's my first time attempting some Sherlock & Co podcast fanart! I had a lot of fun sketching these, but John gave me the most challenge. I'm still not sure I really captured him quite how I picture him, but I'm not unhappy with this first try. I had trouble deciding on his hairstyle, facial hair, a lot of details really. x3 Looking at other artists' wonderful fanart on the S&Co Instagram account helped a lot.

I gave John aka Jonk a Swindon Town mug but was lazy to research their logo lol, I'll add it when I color this.

sherlock & co is so so good, man. sherlock feels like a genuine person and his neurodivergency is not shied away from or done for laughs; john plays an actual role and it truly feels like he and sherlock are a good pair; mariana is a fantastic addition who has good chemistry with the both of them and is a fully actualized person… it’s just so good. i’m on episode 20 rn and it’s just so good i love it so much

thinking about Sherlock & Co too much so have some orientation headcanons

watson: bi but still in the closet. he’s a staunch ally before coming out, but he was just raised in a small town and hasn’t felt free to explore his own feelings openly.

mariana: omni. i feel like she could love any and everyone (and would look good doing it)

sherlock: demiromantic asexual. i think his romantic attraction mimics his platonic attraction, which we’ve seen develop and deepen for both John and Mariana. in my mind, he leans toward sex-indifference and favors sensual intimacy.

Sherlock liking trains and dinosaurs will always be my favourite. He’s just a little silly guy. He likes people so he wants to be helpful for the people even after many people treated him terribly. Can John take him to the dinosaur museum and listen to him info-dump? Can Mariana go on train trip and let him explain why that particular train is great?
