~-What is my favorite N cards/ Favorite N girls-~ These are my favorite N girls and cards. My favorite girl has to be a tie between Leo and Ruu. Both are just so adorable. Then my second favorites are Rika and Himeno. Both of them are just cool and mature I guess. I was going to put Kanata because she is was my best N girl but she is in PDP now so I don’t see her just as a N girl but as something more.

So, Tsurumi. 

I think is going to be unpopular opinion, but I don’t think it was much good. It was passable by Genshin standards, but it’s nowhere near Sakura Cleansing. Frankly, I found it somewhat less enjoyable than even Tatara Tales. 

Sumida and Kama were a massive drag on the entire story. Sumida is just annoying all the way around, without a single redeeming quality, and Kama is boring. Their weird interaction is nothing good either. Sumida manages to ruin a massive number of scenes just because the writers were wildly in love with the running joke of “quoting” her extremely cringe nerd nonsense, and her sudden “character development” at the end came from nowhere and just wasted like a dozen dialogue boxes for no reason. 

And her bringing up This Novel is Amazing like a writing contest is somehow equal weight to an entire village being wiped out and a child being put through hell repeatedly looping the same cursed sequence of events... awful. 

Ruu was cute, I guess, but the quest did basically nothing to establish him as a character we should care about except that he’s a cute child. And that’s.... fine... but it’s extremely shallow. And since the rest of the quest is basically dead weight, it’s just not enough. 

The conclusion was also extremely dragged out and lacked impact. Us going to Seirai for a fifteen second scene of him “singing” was just ending things on a confused whimper. I guess the idea was to show him the outside world, but this absolutely doesn’t work in that sense (since Seirai is also a cursed hellhole, among other reasons), and it just kills the pacing of the last scene. 

Why did we not have him sing to the Thunder Manifestation and put it to rest?? Is this not the obvious thing??

Obviously, on the grand scene of Genshin’s writing sins, this is head and shoulders above the Act 3 and like half the character quests. But it’s still not good, you know? 

I’m really just disappointed because it could have been much better.
