#st Charles square is a fun little britpoppy thing and then the rest is so devestating#Russian strings especially was rlly hitting last night…when he says there’s nothing fake on earth it makes me want to die#very like…existentially sad n connected to the hopeless feeling of contemporary life as opposed to the traditional ‘sad song’#like there are songs in the album abt breakups but that’s not where the sadness comes from it’s just this overarching sense of drudgery#which is something britpop has always excelled at when it tries imo. blur especially#like the universal is fundamentally a sad song abt those same things#anyway. sorry music makes me kinda crazy#warlock wartalks
