https://ift.tt/3eNhQUf
There is nothing better in summer than to be able enjoy nature and take a bath in a natural environment, right? But … what if we told you what, besides, you can do it with your hairy? In this article we will tell you which are the best natural swimming pools to accompany dogs; the most incredible swamps, lakes, rivers and reservoirs spend the day with your best friend and have fun together. Here we are!
Natural swimming pools to accompany dogs in Madrid and its surroundings
Here are our favorite swamps:
Atazar Reservoir, Cervera de Buitrago
It is the largest reservoir in Madrid, where you can practice various activities such as canoeing, sailing or windsurfing. But you can also do some with your best friend cause in this swamp you can kayaking with your dog! Without a doubt, an amazing plan to enjoy something different together. It is surrounded by trails through which you can make routes with your dog to end up taking a refreshing bath.
San Juan Reservoir, San Martín de Valdeiglesias
Madrid’s beach is perhaps the best known of all, so it can get very crowded in high season. Dogs are not supposed to bathe but there are always dogs in the area. Try to go in low season and look for a place where there is nobody to disturb no one and be able to enjoy a different day with your hairy. In this swamp is also the Helm boat, a large tank where you can also bathe with your dog, although under the same indications to avoid problems. There you will find a kiosk and tables for eating.
Reservoirs, rivers and other natural pools to accompany dogs
The best thing about these places is that besides swimming they are also great for hiking and enjoying nature with your best friend.
Picadas Reservoir, Pelayos de la Presa
Near the San Juan Reservoir is this other less crowded swimming area where you can go with your dog. It is a natural environment with a lot of vegetation and magnificent views. It has a space of tables and fountains. We recommend that you do the road to “Las Picadas” up to the dam.
Pinilla Reservoir, Lozoya
This reservoir is located in the Sierra de Guadarrama and in it, in addition to swimming with your dog, You can canoe!
Alberche Beach, Aldea del Fresno
Another of the best natural swimming pools to go with dogs very close to Madrid. A great place to do trek and take a good bath with our best friend. The regulations are that dogs must be kept on a leash, but their entry is officially allowed.
Eresma River, Segovia – Valladolid
It is not a reservoir or a swamp but you can cool off and enjoy an amazing environment. Beautiful trails and trails surrounded by trees not to be missed, with beautiful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama. If you and your dog enjoy nature trails this is a must see.
Rascafría clips
Bathing area with vast green meadows divided into three natural pools. Dogs are not allowed to enter or swim here, however, in the surrounding area you can find beautiful natural landscapes where you can camp and walk with your fur on.
Burguillo reservoir, vila
It is one of the most pristine swamps that we can find near Madrid, about 10 km from the Pantano de San Juan. This is one of the most beautiful swimming areas, perfect for spending the day and taking long walks with your best friend. You can’t miss this place.
Boca del Asno, Segovia
A beautiful natural environment where to spend a fantastic day with your furry, with water pools formed by the Eresma river where you can cool off.
