Thinking abt sonadow and how their individual found families would interact (specifically Tails, Rouge, and Omega)

Plus just Tails and Shadow stepbrothers stuck in my head for months, n recently Rouge and Sonic too,,, family dynamics you will always be famous

can I ask how you think a Kenlao proposal would go? Or how they’d have a wedding if they ever decided to marry? Or do they just keep it serious, like they don’t need to be married to feel completely in their love?

Oh Donner you ask all the right questions.

I’m gonna kinda make this up as I go…

So on their proposal; I think Kenshi proposes. Kenshi is a very traditional and yet modern man at the same time. He’d do it as a sign of trust and declaring himself to Kung Lao, asking for Kung Lao to be his forever.

I think they would have talked about the possibility of marriage, and it wasn’t a for sure thing until takeda entered their lives. They date for a long time, then are engaged for even longer. By the time Takeda is old enough to walk and talk in basically complete sentences they get married.

They don’t feel the need to marry, but depending on where they end up and legal reasons and such they tie the knot. Kenshi was likely satisfied to stay fiancés, as well as Kung Lao.

I also think that Kung Lao proposed to Kenshi about a month later because he wanted to feel equal- and it touched Kenshi that he went out of his way for such a thing.

The proposal was a bigger deal than the wedding itself- they set up dates and full weeks of fun sweet things leading up to it and coming down from it. The wedding was a courthouse wedding, they both wore suits (both red), and Raiden was their witness. The biggest deal to come from the wedding itself is once Johnny finds out, and insists they throw a party in celebration.

The party is small by demand of both Lao and Kenshi. Lao wants it to be celebrated by the people who care most about them, and Kenshi dislikes large gatherings.

After their wedding they go out for dinner and have a romantic night, because hey why not.

But back to the proposals because I’m thinking more about them now:

- when Kenshi proposed he didn’t try to hide the fact that he was going to, but Kung Lao remained oblivious somehow. Kenshi took him to all his favorite places, and on a lot of pretty picnics and outdoor activities. He proposed outdoors at a nice spot he’d spent the whole day before setting up for it.

- Kung Lao cried hard. Really hard. Like gasping for breath- because Kenshi prepared a whole beautiful thing to say to him. (Kenshi blanked halfway through and panicked and made it up as he went along,, he stuttered a bit and it was cute)

- when Kung Lao proposed it was very clear what he was going to do but he tried to hide it anyway. Kenshi found it cute. Kung Lao proposed indoors, after a dinner reservation away from other people. He spent the rest of the week taking Kenshi out on dates and treating him to dinner.

- random hc: Kenshi is a Sucker for romantic dinners. He loves the aroma and atmosphere, whether it’s out to eat or a home dinner!

But anyway that’s all I have for now, I hope I answered well ^_^

Thanks, it's my own fault really. I'm just being stupid and feeling left out because of all the totk stuff even though it's totally my decision not to get it right now (physically cannot allow myself to get this game)

very unfortunate thing is that my classmates have quit korean because they’re returning home soon (and by soon i mean next year) so i’m starting solo lessons today. which is nice bc i’ll move a lot faster and prob learn more, but i did genuinely prefer having classmates AND the price went up because it’s solo now. 

honestly the price difference. is what is killing me the most. eating ramen for like forever now.
