In this royalverse Bruce takes in Dick when his court performer parents die tragically in front of him, at first it’s not for nefarious reasons but a feeling of kinship. This is seen as odd because Bruce has not married yet and does not have any suitable heirs either, so everyone just assumes he took in the pretty boy to raise as his bride.

King Bruce wants to fight the rumors despite growing more possessive of dick, so he decides to take in another orphan boy to quell the rumors. I played around with the ages so dick and Jason are only like a year or two apart but, of course this plan backfires and Bruce grows jealous of Jay because of his unhealthy codependency with Dick.

He sends Jason off to become a knight at age 14ish, hoping he’d lose interest in dick or bring honor to the Wayne crest in another way, but Jay keeps writing to dick even ten years later (but they’re intercepted) so Bruce keeps sending him out to fight…

Bruce ends up slowly coercing Dick into an unofficial relationship but does more messed up things that finally force dick to realize that things aren’t right and Jason to stand up against his king

Anyways, have a snippet!

Dick tries to relax in the royal bathing chamber. It should be easy with his head pillowed on his propped up arms, his body cradled by the smooth tile and hot water funneled in from the natural hot spring, but he feels like a compressed spring as he mulls over the news from the royal Knights. Jason is to be sent out again to lead another tour, he didn’t even get to come home for a day in between this time…

The omega jumps as big hands land on his shoulders, but instinctually, he starts to relax as the familiar scent of Bruce fills his nose. “You startled me, my lord.”

The king hmms thoughtfully as he nuzzles the younger man, pulling him back to settle on his lap. “A king never apologizes, but perhaps I will, just this once.”

As Bruce lavishes kisses on his neck, Dick chuckles as he should at the familiar running joke between them. It occurs to him suddenly that it may not actually be a jest to the king, never once has he actually apologized.

Soon the alpha grows tired of the lack of response and gently grips Dick’s chin to turn it towards him. “What are you thinking of, my little Robin, that has your head amongst the clouds?”

He wants to ask about Jason, about why he’s been sent to fight again, but for some reason, nearly all of their disagreements begin and end with Jay. Dick won’t bring him up when they are having such a nice bath. It’ll have to be an after dinner subject, he still will require an answer.

“I was thinking about your child. How long will it be until I get to hold the baby princling?” He asks instead, turning around in the water to straddle the King. He rests his forehead against Bruce’s, enjoying the intimacy they rarely get nowadays.

Bruce sighs, as if this is another topic he’d rather not discuss. “Within the next couple weeks, but we cannot be certain the babe will be a boy…” His fingers caress up Dick’s chest to begin circling the omega’s unmarked mating gland. “We can hope however. Then once the babe is weaned and my line of succession is unquestionable, Queen Talia will move to her own villa and I can finally make you irrevocably mine.”

“No one would question you, my lord, as king, but would they accept me as one of your consorts?”

“As the royal consort, of course. This is common practice with political marriages, once the duty is fulfilled they live amicably but separately.” Bruce soothes, nuzzling their noses together. “Be patient and remember that I know what’s best for you, for us. You trust me, do you not?”

The omega meets Bruce’s eyes, still unnerved by how sharp they can be despite his softened body language. “With all my heart, my lord.”

Bruce lets out the breath he’d been holding with a chuckle, “How many times will I have to remind you, when we are alone you still may call me Bruce.”

Another one of their games. Dick smiles, running his hands up and into the king’s hair before whispering, “At least once more, my lord.”

The king groans and seeks out the omega’s mouth with his own. Dick loses himself in the gentle but demanding kiss Bruce provides. It goes no farther today as King Wayne’s presence is required soon at important meetings. Once dressed, he says goodbye with a searing, possessive kiss, leaving Dick wound up but alone again in the bath.

He really does trust Bruce with everything, he should have just asked about Jason. He will though, tonight. Jay is still his son, after all, he’s likely just as worried about him as Dick is. However, in the solitude of the royal baths, he can’t help but remember the first time Bruce shipped Jason off…

“One day, you and me are going to ride off into the sunset.” Jay sighs, twirling a piece of straw between his teeth in a way the tutors despise.

Dick just giggles and falls back into the lush grass beside him, resting his head on the young alpha’s bicep like it’s a pillow. “And where would we go?”

“Away,” Jason answers quickly. “Anywhere as long as it’s far from here… from him.”

Dick’s face falls into a frown. “The King has treated us far better than we could have asked. He’s gotten us the best tutors, clothing so fine I couldn’t have imagined it, and he’s kind-“

“To you.” Jay interrupts, propping himself up to peer down at Dick. “He’s almost too kind.”

“Is he not kind to you as well?”

Jason huffs out a breath that billows through his overgrown locks. “Sure, in a distant, cold sort of way. Look Dickie, I know you’ve been here a lot longer than me but the way he acts around you is not fatherly.”

The omega just laughs, “Of course not, he promised he’d never replace my dad, that’s why he’s just my guardian instead!”

“It’s not the way a guardian is supposed to be acting around you either, alright?” Jason explains, getting even more frustrated that Dick isn’t taking him seriously. He rolls them over so he’s half way on top of the older boy now, ready to talk some sense into him.

“And what way is that?” The omega asks after his giggles subside.

“Almost romantically… almost like, like I do.”

That finally shuts Dick up. He realizes suddenly just how close the alpha’s face has gotten to him, lips a mere inch from his.

“Jay- you don’t mean-“ Dick starts but Jason cuts him off with a chaste kiss. It’s soft and sweet, everything the omega didn’t know he wanted but now knows he needs. The kiss only lasts mere seconds but when they break away, both are breathing hard. “That-“

“Boys.” A harsh voice cracks across the courtyard.

They spring apart and rush to their feet as King Bruce storms up to them. His face is red, a vein faintly bulging on his forehead, it’s a terrifying sight. As soon as he sees the fear on Dickie’s face, however, he schools his expression and his tone. “Dick, you’re far past tardy for your tea time etiquette lesson. It is unbecoming of an omega to be disrespectful of another’s time. Run along, Jason and I have much to discuss.”

By the time Dick was through with his lesson, Jason’s room was all packed up and he was sent off to train with the same knights Bruce did without even a letter of explanation.

“He didn’t even say goodbye,” Dick sobbed into Bruce’s finery.

The king held Dick as he cried, hushing him softly but staying stoic in the way he’s known for. “We agreed it would have been harder for you, we were only thinking of your gentle nature, chum. It’s time for Jason to be out from under my wing, to become his own alpha. He will return once he’s ready, do not worry. You trust me, do you not?”

Through his tears, Dick managed to nod, “With all my heart.”

Wowie, it’s been a while since I posted here? Anyways, I apologize for neglecting this blog, but I kind of want to use it as a development blog since I haven’t documented my creative process elsewhere. So here, I might as well share some stuff I’ve been working on! None of this is fully implemented into canon yet and some of it needs external review from others.

So, I’ve been documenting my naming conventions and ideas for different names, first and foremost. This is what it looks like:

Wait, I think I’m cooking?!

I know I’m transcribing my thoughts in real time when this document should be reasonably more structured, but what if the -nida / -nid suffix meant “people” in the Celestet language or in a non-human context? Like- most of the other fantasy races in the Royalverse are still somewhat human due to their origins, but Celestials are inherently non-human, so I’m wondering if there should be different root word shenanigans for that.

I already really like the way Stellari and Luneri sound, though, so I’m wondering how I could alter the suffix structure for them specifically to be “-rida” instead of “-nida.” Or perhaps just “-ida” or “-id” to allow for the different endings like Leonida, Stellarida, Terranida, Lunerida. Yeah, that works!!!

Breakdown time

I found that having an “-ida” suffix with the stell/lune/leo/terra prefixes and a difference between the ones with “r” or “n” at the end of the words honestly sound better and match together better. For example, Stellari would now be Stellarida, Luneri now Lunerida, Leonida is the same, and Terra is now Terranida.

Alternate plural signifiers include “s” as in Leonids, although informal and uncommon. Singular would be an “-id” with the r or n signifier applied before the -id part, as in -nid. For Stellarida and Lunerida, their old names “Stellari” and “Luneri” are now the singular forms, for example “a Luneri woman” or “a Stellari poet”; Leonid and Terranid would be the singular forms of their respective words.

Formal adjective structure includes “-ic” for Leonid and Terranid, i.e. Leonidic and Terranidic; for example “a Leonidic alchemist” or “a Terranidic diplomat” as opposed to “a Leonid farmer.” “Nidic” is pronounced “needic.” (End Transcript.)

There was my thought process when I was thinking about the names of the different Celestial ethnicities.

I’ve also been thinking about the chronic illness I’ve been thinking of for one of the two main characters. Here it is!

The illness is also supposed to be affected by the weather, where colder environments make it worse, etc., which is especially prevalent since the city of Perseus where he currently is has super cold temps during the winter. The Rage is a rage virus sort of thing that I and the friend who came up with it are working on. I’m going to need some suggestions, feedback, and review by people w/ chronic illnesses since I don’t want to screw anything up in this portrayal. I’m confident that this is the direction I want to go with for this character and want to make it as respectful a portrayal as I can. I’m also thinking of adding more “magical” symptoms which are specifically relevant to Celestial physiology, but I’ll have to think on that.

As for the Pantheon and its gods, here’s what I have so far:

I still need to work on the rest of the names, and get some feedback here and there, but ultimately, I like what I’ve done so far!

You know, a lot of things in the RoyalVerse seem downright crazy. Some of the things that are canon to the RoyalVerse include:

Nightmare Moon gave everypony only nightmares at night while she was banished to the moon.

The universe behaves like a computer simulation.

Artificial Alicorns created by Celestia shortly after Luna's banishment to help protect Equestria.

One of those artificial Alicorns deciding that the best way to protect Equestria is to stop anyone who could even become a threat before they do so and having to be sealed away because of this.

A character by the name of Half Note is implied to be Sunny Starscout stuck in the past.

Alicorns are basically magical nuclear reactors.

And the people in charge of running the universe manually died a few million years ago.

Name: Princess Midsummer Night Dream

Family: Queen Celestia (Sire), Royal Consort Applejack (Dam), Princess Honey Sunshine (Older Sister), Princess Luna (Paternal Aunt), Royal Consort Shining Armor (Paternal Uncle), Duchess Beautiful Ghosts (Paternal Cousin), Queen Cadence (Paternal Cousin), Royal Consort Fleur de Lis (Paternal Cousin), Etre a l'Quest (Paternal First Cousin Once Removed)

Personality: With her permanent indifferent expression many ponies assume that Dream is unhappy with her lot in life. She is an alicorn unlike Honey Sunshine but the second born sister, the throne not being usurped and handed down to her upon her birth. However, the biggest challenge she faces is everypony's assumptions. Her talent and her sisters go hoof in hoof, yet sometimes listening to all the questions she gets she wonders if she comes off as though she’s ungrateful and bitter. Does her sister feel the same way as everypony else and is only hiding it for her own happiness? She’s still young and naive at the end of the day. Dream allows herself to get lost in fantasy very often, busying herself with the many suitors who wish to get their way into the royal family. She looks past this for a few moments and allows herself to be showered in attention and their beauty. 

Special Talent: Moving sunbeams so that every plant gets the sunlight it needs.

MONEY — MARINA x HENRY

M ─ Masturbation. Do they engage in it ?  Together or alone ?  Do they enjoy watching their partner masturbating ?  Do they use any toys, or just their hands ?

Henry doesn’t really masturbate often. It’s just not something he often finds himself doing as his sex drive isn’t that high and he always claims that he’s too busy with more important things. Henry much prefers being intimate with Marina. It brings him more pleasure than if he were to do it himself.

O ─ O’clock. What time do they usually have sex  ( mornings, late at night, during lunch break, etc… ) ?  Are they usually in a rush, or do they take their time ? How about on weekends / holidays ?

Most of the time, Marina and Henry have sex at night when he comes back home from work. Henry is usually busy during the day and doesn’t get to see her as much. They do sometimes have sex in the morning but these sessions are usually quick and brief. Henry really appreciates the time he spends with Marina on his days off or on holidays. He likes to take his time with her and worship her during sex and these are the days where he can do that.

N ─ Nudes. Do they send them to each other ?  Do they save them on their phones ?  Do they keep them to themselves, or do they show them to their friends ?  Have they ever sent one to a wrong number ?

Sending nudes isn’t really common between Marina and Henry. He’s a little bit awkward and isn’t exactly comfortable with sending nudes of himself. It’s just not something that they do. They tend to send each other cute selfies of themselves instead.

E ─ Experimenting. Are they willing to experiment new things ?  Is there something they’d like to try with their partner, but haven’t had the chance yet ?  Any experiments gone wrong ?

Marina and Henry aren’t really the type to experiment during sex. They’re both pretty vanilla and are quite satisfied with each other in bed. Henry is willing to experiment if Marina ever gets curious about something. Marina once discovered a new kink when Henry tied her hands up with one of his expensive silk ties.

Y ─ Yucky. Is there something they find particular disgusting or unpleasant in regards to sex ? Something they’d absolutely refuse to do, even if the other really wanted it ?  Have they already denied the other some kinks because of this ?

Welcome To The Royalverse!

Hello! Welcome to this new blog of mine! Here, I would like to document my fantasy world, whether that be through art, writings, Gacha Life 2 mockups and concepts, asks, and more! I don’t really have the motivation to draw too much, so some mediums may be more common than others. Anyways, onto the intro QnA!

What Is The Royalverse?

The Royalverse is a fantasy world project created by @l1ttles3am0th, and has been in development since April 2022! The Royalverse is just a working title, but it works for now. The world is sort of in an odd place continuity-wise right now, but the main gist of it is a world that’s risen from the ashes of an extreme societal collapse and near-extinction event that left most of the world in ecological ruin. My primary story with this universe follows two Celestial royals named Umbriel and Sol, however, there are a ton of neat stories to be explored with this world!

Who Am I, The Creator?

My name is Vee, but you can call me Moth if you so please. I’m some autistic rando on the internet who draws and is working on the very world you’re exploring today! I’m currently a minor as of November 2023, so please don’t be a weirdo! My main blog is @l1ttles3am0th!

What Are My Plans For This World?

I mainly plan on writing it all down for the ages, honestly. This has been buzzing endlessly in my head for over a year and a half, and I thought that it’s finally time to consistently build upon it! My main avenues will be through art, writing, and GL2 (I know, I know), but I may stretch into other avenues as well.

ribbons and traditions

“Just one more thing, my princess.” Winking at her confused expression, Liam faced the jewellery he had one of his staff put out earlier, eyes scanning over the accompanying rolls of colourful ribbon. “This is the one,” he said, picking up a pale green roll with a smile, unravelling it as he turned back to Daphne.

“Oh! Are these to be wrapped around my arms?” Daphne smiled up at him as he nodded, reaching for her hand, meeting him halfway, “I thought I saw people wearing something akin to this on the way here.”

“Clever girl. As you know, this week is our famed flower festival, and so, in our kingdom, it's become a tradition for couples to do this. Truly, it started with my father,” he laughed, face fond as he carefully wound the ribbon down her fingers, “my father grew up in a small kingdom, more grounded than the grandeur of my mother's, and he grew up watching his parents and grandparents wrap ribbons up and down their arms for ceremonies. His father explained to him the reason they did it was because it gave them a moment together throughout all the chaos and excitement of the day. They knew they'd have those few minutes to be with each other, and so my father wanted to continue that tradition with his future wife and family.”

“That's a beautiful sentiment, Liam, thank you for telling me.” Daphne's eyes were bright, her free hand cupping his cheek, “You picked such a pretty colour too.”

Snorting softly, he turned his head to press a kiss to the centre of her palm, “A pretty girl has to have a pretty ribbon.” Reaching over, he grabbed a small bejewelled rose pin; the gemmed petals sparkling in the light, using it to hold the ribbon ends in place before lifting her other arm to begin the same process, “Plus,” he glanced up at her with a smirk, “it matches my suit, which I made sure matches your dress.”

“How did you-- Xan.” Rolling her eyes at Liam’s nod, Daphne shook her head, “Should’ve known.”

“Had to make sure we matched, princess. You’ll still take my breath away when I see you all dressed up tonight, you always do. Besides, this is us having that moment, just like my parents.” Liam said, voice shy and cheeks tinged red.

“I love you even more for thinking ahead and planning for us to have this moment, it’s one I will always treasure.” Daphne surged forward, her lips finding Liam’s for a few tender moments, “Anyways, how did your father’s tradition spread to everyone else?”

“Well, the first flower festival after my parents were officially courting, mum was seen at every event with different coloured ribbons, and some traders came back from dad’s kingdom where they found out about it and word spread from there. Mum and dad were flattered that everyone seemed to love it so much and now it’s just a part of the norm.” Pinning the second gemmed rose to the ribbon, Liam raised both of her hands to his lips, pressing a kiss just below the roses.

“Liam, they look gorgeous, thank you--” Daphne paused, tilting her head, “but what about my ring finger?" she wiggled her left hand in his face, "I thought the ribbons would match?”

Liam stood, pulling her up with him, amusement evident in his voice. “You don’t know? That spot, my princess, is for later.” With that, he turned and walked out the doors, laughter ringing clear through the halls at Daphne’s flustered stuttering as she scrambled to catch up to him.
