Plot: Inspired by the fairytale Cinderella.

You're being 'raised' by your evil stepmother and stepsisters. Upon receiving the invitation to the royal ball, you and your stepmother and stepsisters all get ready for it. You go through the clothes left by your parents, but will they actually let you go? And if they do, who will you meet?

The magical land of Hogwarts was stunning and everyone admired the royal family of the kingdom. The benevolent King Fleamont and Queen Euphemia were kind to all their subjects and both of them were exceptionally proud of their son, Prince James.

Prince James was brought up in their image; kindness to all, no matter their station. He loved fiercely and it was obvious if anyone looked close enough at the way he looked at his bodyguard, Lily. However, they were discreet about their relationship; worried how the King and Queen would take it.

One day, however, he was taken to see his parents at their request by Lily. Once James was seated, with Lily standing behind him, his father told him of the idea that he and his wife came up with for their son.

“James, as you are 19, you need to find a wife, someone who will be your equal, your partner, your other half and who will help you rule. We will be holding a ball in your honour for your 20th birthday and inviting all available female suitors of close rank from this kingdom and neighbouring kingdoms. You will choose from the available and suitable suitors.”

James looked down, disappointed for a moment that he wouldn’t be able to have that life with Lily, but he had already told his parents that he’s polyamorous, so he decided to make a deal. He took a deep breath and said, “ok, I have two conditions.” He waited until both his parents nodded and his father gestured to him to go on. “Firstly, about the ball, I want you to invite everyone of appropriate age, no matter their title or standing, as long as they have no issue with me being polyamorous.” They had no issue agreeing to this, but still wanted him to find a wife. “Mama, father, I’m already in love with a beautiful woman.” They looked at him, and gestured for him to keep going. “I’m in love with my bodyguard, Lily Evans.”

James heard a gasp from behind him and looked back to see tears in Lily’s eyes as she looked at him.

“This is acceptable,” Queen Fleamont told them as she stood up and walked over to her son and his lover, and embraced both of them. “However, you can’t be his bodyguard once you’re married.” She pulled back and cupped Lily’s cheek. “As you are still an amazing bodyguard for our son, you will stay as his guard until closer to the time you will marry. Is this acceptable to you?”

James and Lily both looked at each other as Lily smiled and curtsied, “yes, your majesty.”

Euphemia pulled back and smiled at both of them as Fleamont walked over embracing them both before turning to Lily, “you’ve been like a daughter to us. It would be an honour to have you join us officially.”

As Fleamont walked back to his seat, but didn’t sit down, Lily smiled and embraced James, before she pulled back and kissed him.

“The two of you are excused. We have a ball to prepare for,” Fleamont told them as he sat down.

“And James,” Euphemia called just before they got to the door, making James turn to his mother and see her beautiful smile, “we’ll make sure your request is fulfilled and every available suitor is invited to the ball.”

With that, Lily and James walked out and happily went back to his chambers.

You hated this life, you were a slave to your stepmother and her daughters. They didn’t treat you like anything other than something they would wipe off the bottom of their shoes.

Everyday, you wished on anything and everything you could find or think of that the work you were doing would help change your life. When you were away from your stepfamily, you would try to work as hard as you could to find a job that also provided a place for you to live. It didn’t matter what it was at this stage, the only thing that mattered was that you could get away from here.

When the invitation to the ball arrived, you were in awe. You wanted to go and hopefully meet someone who could help you get out of this miserable existence. In this life, you were just a slave to your stepmother and her daughters. It was exhausting.

You smiled to yourself all that day as you remembered clothes of your parents that you found ages ago and stored them in your room. It wasn’t even really a room, it was the attic, and it was tiny.

Nothing could wipe the smile from your face.

In the morning I was making breakfast for my stepmother and stepsisters my mice friends help me.

The ending was super bittersweet but with an extra dollop of sweet. This is a must read!

Ok so- this author is absolutely amazing! A lot of their straykids stories cater to Indian/desi people and it’s so heartwarming! Meggy I've gotta stop, I know you just answered but I'm absolutely dying over Rhett Abbott!!!!! (lol).

Maybe a few very random thoughts, but I hope these will make you smile a little bit (lol).

Rhett's always had a few comfort books or movies growing up which are still his absolute favorites. Alot of it stems from when he was a kid and Perry would be an absolute asshole to him which pissed Royal off to every degree.

Rhett remembers being very, very little, like preschool/kindergarten age and crawling into Royal's lap at night. Royal would be dead-ass tired from being out with the hands all day and dealing with Perry's behavior issues but he'd always make time for Rhett. Rhett's favorite story that Royal would read to him was "The Indian In The Cupboard" and it was also one of his favorite movies. Rhett still has the whole book series and both he and Royal will read to the babies when nobody else can.

His comfort movies have always been stuff like Indiana Jones, The Goonies (especially The Goonies, he swears that the babies are gonna be the gang from that, lol), Legend (the 1985 Tom Cruise film) and 101 Dalmatians. Usually around Christmas it's "The Muppet Christmas Carol" and The Polar Express that are his go-tos.

You both adopted Amy when she was a baby. Literally from the moment she was born, you and Rhett took her to protect her from her birth parents and ever since then she called you and Rhett "momma and dada". When it came to movies, Amy is a Disney girlie through and through! She loves Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella and all the old school Disney movies just as much as she loves Lilo and Stitch as well as Frozen.

When Amy started school, you and Rhett sent her to one of those outdoorsy hippie schools because Rhett, Royal and Cecelia not only knew like half the teachers there, but they knew it would be awesome for Amy. Usually at those schools (I'm doing my teaching program for one) they have kids in the Early Childhood pick a symbol for their cubbies instead of having their name and Amy chose a bull-rider for hers because of Rhett.

so my niece has been going through a tangled phase, and the idea of a leosagi tangled au won’t leave me alone but i can’t decide between

1. leo being rapunzel, kidnapped by big mama

2. leo being rapunzel kidnapped by draxum

3. leo being rapunzel kidnapped by Hikiji

4. usagi being rapunzel kidnapped by Hikiji

i’m leaning towards 1 or 3 cuz leo being rapunzel just like feels right idk maybe cuz magic power lmao

but my other dilema

Oh I love tangled it’s one of my favorite Disney movies. (It and Cinderella 3 are tied for my favorite princess movie)

Oh you have so many good options. May I give you two flavors.

Option one

I shall go with Big Mama taking Leo

Maybe Lou Jitsu is king and wants to have kids. Not a wife (tried that it was a disaster) but kids. Maybe local alchemist offers a solution. Empyrean. They go and get it and four children are born in a three year time span. Raph, the twins, and the Mikey.

Big Mama was using the Empyrean either to stay young, create warriors, or to maintain her human appearance. I think I like the last option best. She used it to disguise her true form so she could do business with humans.

So she needed a power source. The boys are all toddlers, Raph at age 2 is already showing a protectiveness and hardheadedness, he will not be a good candidate. Plus he’s the biggest and would have the most painful bite. Donnie is a good option. Even at one he’s intelligent for a baby, but he’s delicate and might not survives ruff journey, at least not at the speed she will have to take it. Mikey is the smallest and easiest to grab but he’s also the most heavily guarded, being the brand new baby. Leo it is. Small, less guards, more sturdy.

So she takes him one night and disappears forever. Leaving the royal family one prince short.

She raise Leo as her own and if he turns out to be just as cunning as her, we’ll she proud of that. But he can never leave the tower she made for him. (She thinks he’s stuck there but red eared sliders are one of the turtle species that can climb.) she also finds that the boy is skilled in portal magic, something she seals away.

One day close to his eighteenth birthday. A Ronin that got himself into a tight spot hides up in the tower.

And off they go on their adventure.

Leo wants to see the floating lights and Usagi needs to go that way anyways. Maybe he has a delivery for someone in the Hamato kingdom

The Tenshu crew would be the snuggly duckling patrons.

Big mama looking for them, slowly reverting to her more spider like state. She has teemed up with Kenichi a jealous samurai.

She finds them and approaches Leo when he is alone and comments about how Usagi is just completing a task. Leo is a tag along. As soon as their destinations no longer align Usagi will leave him. It’s the way of a Ronin, to always be traveling. He’s not going to stay for Leo, who would. And he won’t want Leo tagging along. Look how much slower he travels with Leo, look how much trouble Leo has caused him. As soon as Usagi has the chance he’ll leave. “I doubt he’ll even say goodbye, it’s in a ronin’s nature to leave.” Leo is shaken but doesn’t want to back down just yet.

They make it to the kingdom and are enjoying the festivities (Usagi has never been there before he knows about the lost prince but has no idea what he looks like.

After the romantics day out and the lantern scene in the boat. Usagi lands their boat, by now he’s already completed his job in the kingdom. He sees something near by and asks Leo to stay out, worried it might be trouble and not wanting Leo near it.

It’s a set up by Kenichi and Usagi falls for it, and when he leaves Leo’s side Big Mama is there to show Leo that his beloved Samurai is leaving him without a goodbye. Leo returns with her.

Kenichi has approached the roual family with Leo’s mask, a gift since infancy, covered in blood and claiming he found Usagi with it. This does not put Usagi in a good position.

Of course their is a jail break sequence. I’m thinking Mayhem as pascal and maybe April or cassanrada as Maximus. (A guard who takes their job very seriously but gets won over by leo)

Orion two

Usagi is Rapunzel and Hikiji is gothel.

Maybe Hikiji has an old grudge against Katsuichi and takes his adopted son as a way to break his spirit.

No magic here just a mad man.

He is raised to be a servant, no sword fighting skills in sight and he is never aloud to leave.

But you can’t keep a sword out of his hands and he practices in secret.

One day a ninja stumbles in and while Usagi has been raised to see all ninja as evil, this is also an opportunity out. He wants to see the world.

Leo get bullied into taking the bunny to the Tenshu.

On the way there they have to stop at run of the mill for food and meet Leo’s family (the snuggly duckling crew)

Hikiji is tracking them and tries to convince Usagi to leave telling him that Leo will just kill him once he’s board of him. But Usagi doesn’t waver just yet

Once in town they hear tales of the missing rabbit. The son of the lord’s best friend. Leo makes a joke about Usagi looking like the kid.

After a romantic day together Leo gets separated from Usagi and Hikiji swoops him back up.

This idea needs more flesh to it but I can see Tomeo ame as Maximus and Chizu or Kitsune as pascal. Probably Chizu as she would also work under Hikiji.

Gen 1. Snow White #71 Snow's Elder Celebration

The royal family took a family portrait on the morning of Snow's celebration into elderhood (Ella was at ballet class at the time).

When Snow arrived to the vineyard, she found Somna flirting with this guy.

Somna had recently graduated with a degree in Fine Arts at Britechester, and Snow had been wondering if she was interested in dating at all.

Once the Dwarfs (as Snow affectionately called them) all arrived, she insisted on a group photo.

After Ella and Florian arrived, everyone stood quite still so they could join in the family photo. (These photos take way too long...)

(Yes, we are back at the Italian Vineyard because I was so frustrated with Mother's Day). Raphael had just graduated from Britechester with a Culinary Arts degree and was looking for a job as a food critic.

This time, Shylee brought along Brodie (remember the guy she met at the deli?)

Yep... still chaos. The king is doing situps and the dog is sprawled out sleeping in the doorway.

This time Joy took the mic to celebrate Snow.

Dwight was close to graduating Britechester (barely) with a Art History major. Honestly, he just wanted to see the world - especially Mt. Komorebi where he could finally try the skiing he had read about all those years ago.

The baby was miraculously picked up by her parents after spending a few hours on the floor but they STILL wouldn't introduce Noelle to Snow...(a bug?)... Doug had just graduated with his History degree from Britechester, and found an archaeology career, and Ashley is still a teacher.

Finally, Snow gave up and went to Make a Wish.

Does she look older...?

"How about a kiss for Mama Snow?" (When did Hayden change his clothes, SMH. He's ranked up in the military now.)

Overall a more satisfactory celebration at the vineyard!

I'll Win You Over, Sempai!

Summary:

Once Koharu's favorite actress told her that a good woman never gets dumped. Ever since then, Koharu has lived a life where she neither failed in her confessions nor she got dumped. 

Koharu is extremely proud of the life she has led so far. Not her friends though. They are tired of this farce since they know all too well that she has only ever confessed to the boys who wouldn't be able to turn her down. 

Annoyed at her charade, they finally snap and challenge her to confess to Kanzaki, a second year heartthrob in their school, who has turned down every single confession with a smile and thereby earning a nicknamed 'the smiling guillotine.' 

Prideful Koharu decides to take up the challenge and confesses to Kanzaki only to be turned down even before she gets to complete her sentence. This cannot and shall not be accepted! Koharu refuses to back down and decides to keep on confessing until she gets an OK from him!

A Fair-est Winter - Apple/Darling

This is my gift as part of the @eah-exchange, written for @atomicjuniper!

Hey Kaitie! I also love Dappling and Dexven, so I wrote a fic featuring them. Apple-centric! It’s primarily more on the Dappling side, with some Raven and Apple friendship, though it’s originally based on your prompt of the two ships going on a double date. Here, they’re visiting Snow White’s kingdom for Christmas.

Snow fell into the December days, as finals ended and trails of students boarded the carriage cars and trains and portals and private planes and professionally-trained griffins home for the winter. Apple White would normally be one of the first to go, for the current Snow White, in her queenly CEO-frequent-face-of-Faerbes-magazine glory, would never hesitate to make a grand entrance, to remind the students that -- yes, you may be royalty, but the realm this school falls in is still under my jurisdiction, that as long as you study here, Apple is your Crown Princess. Yet, this year, Apple sat waiting on the school steps, suitcases beside, as people filed out past her.

“Stuck on the steps of the palace?” Ashlynn Ella trailed down from the front door past Apple.

She laughed. “Just waiting on a princess.”

It wasn’t that Darling Charming was late. Apple White was merely early, and hexceedingly nervous.

“Is everything spelltacular on your end, Ash?”

With that, Cinderella’s daughter smiled. “The court physicians have hexcellent news. Mama’s been doing her best in months… we might even get to do a trip this year, she mentioned wanting to go east of the sun.”

“They do throw some of the best balls,” Apple said. “Of course any Cinderella would love to go there!”

Ashlynn giggled. “And Papa knows of Hunter now, so things are looking up all round.”

They kept talking, passing the time until a carriage car managed by a mousy-looking footsman rolled up in Ever After High’s arched driveway.

Cinderella stories, rags to riches. Happily ever afters do hexist, Apple thought, and her mind drifted. Commoners, and even minor nobility, had a freedom in taking a highschool sweetheart to their parents, without much of a fuss. It wasn’t as if the royal teens of Ever After High didn’t date outside of the storybook, it was just that bringing it to the palace was a political move at the most minimum.

It was also why Snow White tardied this year.

Nonetheless, a new page was turning. Ashlynn and Hunter were proof. Maybe she and Darling would be too.

As if on cue, a rush of distinctive perfume and strident footsteps. There she was, Darling herself, carrying not one, not two, but three suitcases, on her arms.

“That’s just flexing at this point!” The sentence was said with a good-natured laugh that Apple knew to be her roommate’s. Raven Queen stood behind Darling, and Dexter behind her. “She insisted, Apple, how could I say no?”

With her own demonstration, Raven waved her hands and moved the suitcases down the steps via purple telekinesis. 

There was the other reason why Snow White tardied that year -- the other set of guests.

Apple adored Raven. They were roommates, best friends, walked hand in hand to Thronecoming together. When Raven shot up in the popularity polls, the only concern Apple ever felt was from that call with her mother. Still, befriend your storybook villain all you want at Ever After, risk the judgement of your peers for that, perhaps -- not that Apple was prone to being demonised --, but bringing it back to the kingdom, where you were the figurehead, the fairytale--

She was overthinking things. Apple knew she was overthinking things. Her mother had said yes to guests over for the Winter, anyway, and yes to these specific ones, too.

To be fairest, it was hard to say no to that one particular Charming branch without risking a political infarction. A queen has trade routes to protect!

“Dexter,” Apple greeted, standing up and giving a proper curtsy. He was nice. Respectful. It never sunk in before that she’d one day get to call him her brother-in-law, but after everything with Darling, it finally did.

“Hey Apple.”

To Raven, Apple dove into her with a warm hug. “Christmas is going to be the best,” she emphasised. “I know it.”

“Would be nice not to get threats from Krampus this year,” Raven cracked a grin.

“Nonsense, does coal from Santa mean nothing to you?”

But when you’re the Evil Queen, here are visits that even St Nick is all too earnest to miss.

The odd couple -- prince and sorceress -- stepped aside. Only one person was left for Apple to properly greet.

“Darling,” and here, Apple was acutely aware of the weight of that name, the endearment intertwined in double-meaning. She reached out a hand. Her destined princess took it, kissed the back of it, beaming like the sun glinting off armor.

This was it, wasn’t it? The fairytale love that maidens go to the ends of the world for.

The D-Charming branch really undersold Dexter. He would make an incredible dignitary. He held the conversation with Apple’s mother that carriage car ride. CEO does not necessitate engineer, but Snow White’s mines sourced power for some of the latest advancements in spelletronics, which Dex -- fond member of the Tech Club -- could talk on.

He took the pressure off. The girls could chat about next spellmester plans, with Apple and Darling comparing their lunch slots and free periods to determine when they could hang out during school.

Still, there was a coldness, not from the winter outside. If Snow White wanted to know about Raven, the question was directed at either Apple or Dexter, or otherwise…

“Well, what will you do for the rest of your life?” articulated with a saccharine smile.

For any princess, it was simple enough: rule, and rule well. Else, be a consort, run the kingdom, so that your spouse rules well.

“Isn’t that what the rest of my life is for?” Raven had responded with an ease that Apple realised she herself would never have had if put in the same situation.

Arriving to the kingdom, too, the atmosphere of the crowds shifted from whence Dexter and Darling stepped out, to when Raven stepped out. Apple clenched her perfect teeth and thought how Ever After High had created a mental microcosm, that returning home would not reflect the popularity polls at school.

“I don’t like how they’re treating you,” Apple said. She waited until the servants had finished moving her friends’ belongings into guest rooms, so it was just the two of them.

“It is what it is… not that it should be, but hey. I thought you preferred me as your evil queen.”

She frowned. “You already poisoned me!”

“Not on purpose.”

“But it got me here, got my Happily Ever After… I don’t know why they don’t love you now. I’m happy, isn’t that what matters?”

Raven laughed. Of all things, Raven laughed.

“There’s no story without you! There’s no Happily Ever After without a story…”

“Look, Apple, I appreciate you. I’m really happy for you. That’s why I’m here,” Raven said. “And hey, raised villain, remember? We don’t get safety nets, we know the risks. It’s not like I’m throne for a loop here.”

If she had been assigned a villain role -- Apple once thought -- then she’d take it with a strident pride, put on the facade, get a beautiful princess a happily ever after. “It’s more than just a role, isn’t it?”

“Yeah. It’s very real, and it needs to be fixed. And maybe, hey, on the bright side, if evil were just a role, wouldn’t fairytale love be just a role as well?”

“Good thing it isn’t.”

“I agree.”

“Well,” Darling said, “Snow White’s kingdom is a lot more Christmassy than ours, which is to be hexpected. This is famously one of the biggest Christmas markets in the world.”

“Rivalled by only the Nutcracker Kingdom’s,” the hint of kingdom pride didn’t leave Apple’s voice. 

The apex of the trip. 

A princess had to be resourceful, and on a night where one was busy stuffing herself with German desserts, Apple would never be caught amiss without a bag to carry them all.

She introduced Darling to all the sweets from her childhood. “Other kingdoms are mad about oranges,” she made sure to point out any regional differences, “but if you ever doubted that the Snow White kingdom would value any other fruit over apples…”

As a kid was a phrase that fell often as the two wandered. This was the stall I went to as a kid. Oh, I played this as a kid. They're singing the songs that I heard as a kid.

“Nothing seems to change, huh,” commented Darling.

“It's reliable,” said Apple. “It's home.” She glanced up at her girlfriend. “This time it's different, though, it's with you. Oo!” A stall caught her eye. “Let's get lebkuchen!" and took Darling over to a stand selling gingerbread.

Nothing seemed to change. But now, with Darling in her life--

“Let's do something unhexpected.”

“Unhexpected?”

“Unhexpected. I showed you my childhood traditions, maybe we should create a new one.”

“Wonderland taught me that you should think of six impossible things before breakfast…” Darling trailed off, fuzzling her brow in thought, “but something unhexpected right now?”

“Oo, maybe I should suggest the unhexpected thing! That'd be extra unhexpected, coming from Apple White.”

A chuckle. “Alright, what have you got?”

Apple frowned, and looked around. This out of the box thinking was not her strongest suit. "Let's…" she said, "climb onto a roof, maybe?" Briar would be proud, she thought.

Darling arched an eyebrow, but didn't question it. "Gotta start somewhere. Let's do it."

So they did. Fittingly, it was a local bakery's roof. The two princesses sat there and watched the lights of the market below them.

"Did you…," Darling seemed to be searching for the words. "Did you ever think we'd end up like this?"

Apple looked up at her, mid lebkuchen bite.

"It's just that, well, you know, my family's… traditional," Darling continued. "Like, not necessarily by the book, or else they'd be doing something different. More like 'Chevalier Belle-Belle is an hexception, not a rule!' traditional? Authors, what am I getting at?"

"Darling, what's going on?"

The other princess laughed and kissed Apple on the cheek. "It's just that, I feel like I've been spending the past months rejecting the way I've been raised so much that, surely, maybe it would affect how I like princesses. Like, scared that associations would mean not being able to fully love princesses that fit the mould. I was scared that I wouldn't like you as much as I wanted to -- or do."

"And I'm certain that you do." And Apple was. "I like being a proper princess," she said. "And I like you, Darling. You make me feel like the storybooks were right, that there is a love to believe in and wait for."

Below them, there were voices in unison from the market crowd. A countdown.

Apple rested her head on Darling's shoulder. "Stollen?" she offered the Christmas loaf to her love. 

Darling broke off a chunk. "Stollen," she repeated. 

Together, from the height, they watched the fireworks.

The days stretched onwards, and Apple lost herself in countless hours spent with Darling. Exploring the vast private library collections her kingdom held, to sitting on meetings her mother held with other heads of states or company hexecutives, to wandering the orchards that lined the Royal Botanical Gardens.

They drank hot chocolate indoors and watched the snowflakes fall through ebony-lined windows.

But like reigns, seasons too come to an end, and Darling had to hasten home to spend the last week of break with her own family. 

Apple stood at the steps of her kingdom, and waved goodbye to the two siblings, in the practised and poised manner she only knew.

“Hey,” Darling sprinted back. “I forgot something.”

“What w--”

With a wave of her hair, Darling slowed the time around her, and caught Apple’s mouth with a kiss. “That’s what I forgot.”

The Charmings’ carriage car beeped, a frustrated footsman knowing that the children were not going to make it back on scheduled time. 

"Okay, gotta go. Remember that I love you!"

"I love you too."

She’d go to the ends of the world for Darling. She really would. Be one of those princesses who spend seven years, dedicated, searching.

What comfort, Apple thought, being only a border and a carriage car ride away.

question is: which manhwa have you read?

ooh ok ok i had several of u gyns ask me this!! i only just started getting into manhwa recently bc i ran out of isekai manga jskfgjjkfg so you have to understand that i. love isekai tropes. i love them so much. i love a female protagonist who is just so, so stupid and completely oblivious to the lead's or anyone else's romantic feelings bc she is Busy and has One Brain Cell. if you like bakarina from hamefura/my next life as a villainess, that's my genre ok. i do not typically like stories where the female lead falls in love first bc men don't deserve love unprompted, let's be real. men should exist to dote on women bc that's what i would do to atone for being male

so i'm gonna do my best w the titles bc i am completely new to korean and i'm gonna try to give the english titles that the scan teams use so they're easier to find. the main sites i've been using are ladymanga and manhwatop

my very favorite manhwa i've read is actually not an isekai but it's f/f historical fantasy and it's so good, it's called her tale of shim chong/her shim cheong. it's about a beggar girl who befriends a newly-wed bride of a powerful man, and their struggle to stay together and survive. it's really poignant and makes incredible insights on misogyny, but it's satisfying!

then there's doctor elise: the royal lady with the lamp/queen with a scalpel about a skilled surgeon with memories of a past life who ends up reincarnating back into that past life and deciding to become a doctor instead of marrying the prince. but this time around, he's the one in love w her bc she's so cool and smart hehe, but she is v busy being amazing at her job

the rest of these are still releasing so i have to wait :'( but i'm really into them so far. first one is a wicked tale of cinderella's stepmom/i raised cinderella preciously, where the protagonist wakes up as the evil stepmother from cinderella. so she decides she'll just get good marriages for all three of her girls and then live in a cottage somewhere, except cinderella meeting w the prince didn't go as planned and this baron dude and his "apprentice" are always hanging around them. i love this one bc she's kind of a sexy mama bear and the daughters are all surprisingly fleshed out and don't actually want to just follow the plot of cinderella lol

also i like i'm a stepmother but my daughter is just too cute which is similar to the previous one where the protagonist is now the wicked stepmother from snow white. but she was originally a children's clothing designer and snow white is adorable, so instead she dotes all over her. and it turns out the king has a reason for being cold to both of them. (trigger warning on this one for past implied sexual assault and pedophilia that is taken seriously - the abuser is deceased before the start of the story)

and finally i'm waiting on the villainess flips the script/it's time to change the genre, where a woman is reincarnated into her favorite revenge novel as the main character's abusive aunt. she plans to hand him off to his real uncle so he can get along with his story, but instead he gets so attached to her that she ends up joining him and pretending to be his mom so she can keep him and his uncle safe from the events of the novel. except things are playing out differently than the story she knows.
