breathe in. breathe out. adjusting the hat that just feels a millimeter off on his head. readjusting the sock that's slipped a bit off his heel from bouncing his leg so much. breathe in.

something about this stadium will forever leave him jittery. every time he returns, it's like the initial feelings of standing at the entrance to the battlefield rush back into him, all nervous energy & sweaty palms.

breathe out.

he's grown much since the first conference, even since the last time he challenged the sekiei champion league. pikachu knows all the tricks to grounding its partner by this point. lucario sits calm in its monster ball & its composed aura smooths out satoshi's own flittering one.

they've got this. he's got this.

the announcer calls out his name ... & he steps into the lights, & the shouting & the sheer charge in the air that has very little to do with the electric mouse atop satoshi's shoulder.

he spots his opponent on the other side of the field, still making his own entrance, & satoshi keeps walking, towards the center. he smiles at the fact that itsuki follows his lead on this. they meet in the middle, & satoshi inclines his head in a short bow. ❛ it's good to finally meet you, itsuki - san. let's have a good battle. ❜

❛ better than that, world champion - san, let's have a spectacular battle !! ❜

the elite's answering grin has satoshi's own widening & all he can do is give an emphatic " yes !! " before jumping back to break into a jog back to the trainer's box of the field.

his grin stays put as the referee gives the usual rundown of the rules of the match, as the countdown begins, as the call to release is given ... ❛ lizardon, i choose you !! ❜

& as the pokémon pops out of his ball with a burning roar, satoshi feels his blood rush at the sight of itsuki's dohtakun, heart running a hundred kilometers an hour in anticipation of the fight ahead. & it begins ...

itsuki on his last pokémon. satoshi on his last two.

one's remaining freshly called. the other's both bruised.

the field sees lucario holding steady against rougela in a blizzard of the latter's creation, but lucario's taken some serious hits, & satoshi can feel its strength being chipped away at. they need to hit hard & they need to hit fast.

satoshi calls for lucario to rush around in a flurry of double - team, taking full advantage of the obstructed visibility the opponent has inadvertently granted, & has it aim a wave bomb right at the rougela's back.

a second. two seconds. the blizzard slowly fades & melts away, leaving clear the sight of ... rougela, still standing, with lucario frozen mid - move. he feels that they were too late in making a move before the pokémon crumples to the ground & he hears the " lucario is unable to battle !! " , & all he can do is sigh in resignation as he calls it back. he holds the ball with pride, though, smiling as he mutters to it, ❛ you did great, lucario. thank you. ❜

both trainers are on their last pokémon, now, though pikachu has recovered from its knockout enough to spectate at satoshi's side. his smile slips as he shifts his focus to the final battle, but the determination in his eyes burns even stronger than at the start, & as he throws his last remaining monster ball, he feels it down to his core that this is all or nothing. ❛ it's up to you, heracros !! ❜ time to see if his gamble pays off.

the battle quickly finds itsuki calling for rougela to use demon's kiss, rightfully wary of heracros' bug typing & associated moves, but if he thinks a little thing like forced sleep status is going to stop satoshi's heracros ... then maybe the elite knows as little about satoshi as he about itsuki.

the champion knows he's got a leg up, however temporary, when he sees itsuki's expression shift at the lack of concern at the development. comprehension soon follows, but it's belated, as heracross has already begun moving in its sleep, zigzagging across the field like an errant arrow, horn & arms aglow. ( much of the week was spent trying to teach it scissor cross, & it's still only half - successful, but, there's the gamble ) .

one. two. three & four. erratic moves are barely dodged, & the rougela is beginning to sway ... but satoshi knows better than to let his guard down just yet. come on, come on ... a spark of dread rises in his chest as he sees the rougela begin emitting pink - tinted mist, recognition of the move setting him right on edge, & now he's calling out loud, ❛ come on ... !! come on !! ❜ & ...

satoshi sees his heracross zip in flight far above the rougela just as the mist was about to encroach upon it. he doesn't allow himself the sigh of relief perched just beneath his chin, instead following the sight of the pokémon & shouting for it to fall - fly & finish it.

the rougela pulls its arms up in an attempt at using psychokinesis just a blink too late, & it falls in a cloud of dirt & dust.

a second. two seconds. three.

❛ rougela is unable to battle !! thus, the winner of this match is competitor satoshi !! ❜

satoshi barely gets a breath to celebrate before receiving an arm - full of still - in - momentum heracros, sending him crashing backwards, laughing like an idiot.

they won. that's one down.

gods, he's excited.

It is going to cost to me so I have to pick and choose. So if someone does have something not on this list and knows a translator or anything that could be of some help and lower my bill it would be greatly appreciated. I want this so much for myself so thats why I will do some translations out of pocket but when I do have translated clips I will be posting them for your benefit too. So if anyone wants to help.. please do message me. Maybe you have something i’m not aware of already translated or on the back burner and if so I would really appreciate hearing about it :)

If somehow I actually had the SUBS for specific scenes in my possession I would do all the editing and embed them into the clips themselves. Even if they are just written translations it would be helpful.
