I made a thing.

It’s Shinouta and their favorite half-sister, April! :D

Spitting image of they’re papa, Draxum, but they were definitely an accident 😅 (Nobody knows where their fangs came from, but Raph thinks they’re adorable… Tip, don’t be around when they’re angry. They WILL bite.)

They claim their favorite color is hot pink, but we all know it’s rainbow.

Fun fact: Shinouta isn’t the best at hello’s, and often sounds very robotic when trying to figure out what to say. They’re trying their best, but it’s just so hard for them. They need to stop overthinking it…

Mostly cuz I want to see if somebody asks a question, then I can really think about what Shinouta would say/do, and act. Personality building mostly.

“Leon? I think he’s probly’ the coolest brother EVER! I don’t understand why the others think he’s annoying….? Leo is awesome, and I’ll always wanna be like him! He always lets me read his comics, and hang out in his room… I like the string lights in his room, they make me feel sleepy.”

(Shinouta doesn’t understand how annoying he actually is 😭)

Hey, Shinouta! When did you first get introduced to the Lou Jitsu movies? And by whom?

“Um… About two days after Papa found me! He was done with all the weird science-y stuff, so he introduced me to my half-brothers! Leon showed me a bunch of cool stuff! Including ALLLLL the Lou Jitsu movies, he’s awesome isn’t he? I wish he was my dad too… But I love papa! I just wish he’d pay more attention to me… Raph usually says I love Lou Jitsu more than even Lee-Lee does, but I’m sure that’s not true! Leo loves him soooo much.”

Greetings, Shonouta! May I call you Shino?

What are you getting the turtles for Christmas? Also will you be getting anything for splinter, April, or Draxum? I want to know so badly now

”You can always call me Shino! Actually, Don-Don nicknamed me that, and now all the others call me it too! Don’t tell everyone but I made Raph a new Teddy Bear for his collection, well I guess it’s a Teddy-penguin? I got help from Mikey and April! Next up would be Leon, right? I got him another unicorn onesie because the other one got too small, it comes with a mini one and a unicorn doll! We can match! I think he’s really cool :D. Then we have Donnie, I think he’ll really like the uranium that I totally didn’t get off the black market and steal some from papa! Totally. Then there’s Mickey. And yeah I got him art stuff, but I also got him about a bucket full of stickers! I got dada a Lou Jitsu action figure because he wanted one to remind him of what he used to be. I dunno if it’s a good present or not. I painted April’s baseball bat with help from Michael, and I made papa cookies… I hope he’ll like them.”

(As you can see, Shinouta, or Shino as you’d like to refer to them as, can be very talkative… And yes they do refer to Splinter as dada, even though they’re not related.)

I need to develop Shinouta’s personality more, all I know is she’s a bundle of cute chaos, and incredibly mischievous. I NEED HELP.

Just a bit about Shinouta.

Shinouta is Draxum’s accidental kid. Did he want children? No. How they came to be is a mystery, and it’s not like Draxum kept a secret or anything, they just… Appeared. Obviously Draxum was confused, and he did a DNA test. Yup. 100% his child. And they were already 7 years old anyway, Donnie’s theory is they came from another dimension but they aren’t sure which one. Raph didn’t care, as soon as he found out his immediate reaction was “Oh, you sweet precious baby, c’mere”. He adores Shinouta’s little fangs, says that they’re just like him. Mikey was stoked that there was a kiddo that liked art as well, so he immediately started teaching them everything he knew. Leo soon found out that he could use Shinouta to prank Donnie (mostly to do with beach balls) and Donnie often does experiments on them. April loves being an older sister, and Splinter is just like “New child. Nice. Not surprised.” And pretty much adopted them. Draxum typically just drops Shinouta off with the turtles most of time. He’s not the best dad, but he tries. Time for random facts now!

Height: 4’3 (Mikey loves someone being shorter than him)

Age: 7

Favorite sibling(s): Raph and April <3 (Poor Mikey and Leo, Donnie pretends they don’t care, but they really do.)

Favorite color(s): All the vibrant ones! They typically just say pink to make it easier though. (I headcanon that Donnie doesn’t like very vibrant colors very much though, and complains that it hurts their eyes all the time. Poor baby.)

Pronouns: They/Them

Favorite animal: Tiger. (Leo tried to bribe them into saying unicorns were their favorite animal, but it didn’t work.)

Shinouta always wants Draxum’s attention, mostly because he doesn’t pay much attention at all, and just lets Splinter deal with them most of the time.

Donnie doesn’t fall for the puppy dog eyes. But he sometimes falls for the bribery.

Here’s the head of my ROTTMNT OC, Shinouta. (Uncolored + unnecessary line variation)

No backstory or lore for them yet, other then the fact that they’re a sheep and so is draxum so we could come up with something between the two? Like some sort of family members…? I’m not sure, but please give me suggestions for them.

(They’re 18 btw, but most of their story will be taking place when their 7, so most of the art of them will be of when their seven)
