🌿Rosemary Devotional - Day 1: An introduction to Rosemary.
Rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub with needle-like leaves, valued as a flavouring herb. It improves digestion and brain functions, and is associated with remembrance and fidelity.
Botanical name: Salvia rosmarinus Description: A shrub of an upright or trailing form. Twigs are covered in brown bark and grow evergreen needle-shaped leaves, green above and silvery white below, covered in dense, wooly hairs. Some cultivars have striped leaves. Flowers range from white to pink to purple to blue. When touched or bruised, the plant exudes woody, mustard-like aroma. The flavour of the leaves is bitter, complementing many savoury dishes.

Noted, Majke thinks, the tone of the conversation sinking in a bit more. It was important to know how to speak to people, the best way to catch their attention. Hold their attention. Though, it seems that Mal already was under Majke's hold in some ways.
"What would be your definition of an informal invitation?" Majke asks, pulling Mal closer by the arm. Sage scented, faint rosemary wafting from her hair. Mal's fingers ghost over her skin and Majke lets out a purr-like hum, corner of her mouth twitching with mischief. "Greed could get you in trouble, my dear."
The scent was one thing. The feeling of Majke's sleeve against Mal was another. The seam of the sleeve and where it ended... the edge of her skin closer.
"I'm happy to indulge you," Majke says, voice lower now. Volume. Tone. It's definitely not a formal invitation, but it is an invitation. "Undivided attention to your lips, your throat?" Majke gives Mal a look to the side, a peripheral check. Knowing. Teasing. "How very improper of us at the farmer's market. Surely we wouldn't want to be banned, would we?"
They're the same height, give or take. Majke in her low heels. She leans more into Mal, soft hair brushing Mal's ear and mostly bare neck. It's dark in all lights, but in the low spring sun, it could be mistaken for brown. Chestnut? Mahogany? Unsure, unclear. Unlike Majke's inviting brown eyes, clear in intent.
"Should we take this elsewhere? More private so I can give you that undivided attention you crave?"
