Berioso The 8th edition of Face of Beauty International 2019 beauty pageant was officially launched yesterday, July 4 at the El Calle Food Hall and Music Lounge located at the 2nd level of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. Present during the special event is no less than the founding chairwoman and CEO of the international pageant Miss Mila Manuel together with people representing EMPRO, this year’s pageant’s main presenter led by Mr. Francis Tolentino Managing Director and Rosantonette Mendoza Public Relation Officer who represented the country in India last year and placed 5th over-all during the finals night. Also in attendance were the current title holder of Face of Beauty International 2019 from Myanmar Mynt Mo Mye and Pai Tanisa the winner of the 2017 edition from Thailand This year major presenter is EMPRO, ia an events company that offers top-of-the-line event equipment and high quality printing. The pageant will run from November 9-18 in various locations at the Clark Freeport Zone in the time for the staging of the biennial South East Asian Games. . The finals will be on November 17 at the Royce Hotel and Casino. More than fifty international beauties are expected to participate in this year’s edition of the pageant. Bb Pilipinas 2018 Ten Best in National Costume

Whether in the more modern take on Ternos or colorful tribal wear, Filipino artistry was in full display during the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 National Costume show at the Kia Theater on March 3, Saturday.

The 40 official candidates were a picture of grace and fierceness as they presented their national costumes that were nothing short of piece of art. Many of the candidates and their designers paid tribute to the late Pitoy Moreno, a former member of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. executive committee, by incorporating the elements he made famous in their modern interpretation of the Terno. The other candidates chose to go tribal, wearing vibrant pieces that represented various regions and indigenous peoples in the country. The crowd roared in appreciation of each candidate’s and designer’s beautiful collaboration.

Prior to the national costume presentation, the candidates and reigning Bb. Pilipinas queens Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters, Bb. Pilipinas International Mariel De Leon, Miss intercontinental first runner-up Katarina Rodriguez, Miss Globe first runner-up Nelda Ibe, Miss Grand International second runner-up Elizabeth Clenci and Bb. Supranational Chanel Olive Thomas starred in a fierce fashion show wearing the latest collection from Jag Jeans, one of the pageant’s major sponsors.

The lucky ladies were presented to the selected members of the media during the press presentation held at the Midori Clark Hotel and Casino in Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga. The candidates representing the various parts of Region 3 and Metro Manila bravely walked the ramp in their identical 2 piece swimwear provided by Sonny Boy Mindo. Mr. Timmy Diwa. Marketing and PR Head of Midori Clark Casino is very satisfied and ecstatic with the outcome of the pageant so far. “ We are looking for a Filipina who embodies the true beauty of the new generation. A millennial who possesses good looks, intelligence, full with confidence and has sincere intention to help others especially the less fortunate. This is the very essence of the Miss Midori Clark 2018 search” Diwa says This year roster of hopefuls consists of pageant veterans, event host, models, flight attendant, businesswoman and college students. They literally came from different walk of life. The eventual winner of Miss Midori Clark will represent Midori and BBI (BB International Leisure and Resort development Corporation) in its various socio-civic projects. Included in BBI’s multi-billion investment in Clark is the Midori Clark Casino, the most technologically advanced gaming property in North Luzon which uses full RFID gaming tables and top of the line electronic gaming machine. Their most recent activity took all 40 candidates to the AFP Medical center in V. Luna to spend some time with honorable wounded soldiers. With the help of the Makati Medical Foundation, the ladies brought cheer to the soldiers at the Heroes ward by distributing food, clothes and toiletries. They Also took time to interact with the soldiers and their families.
